This Account is Unplayable
She's overappreciated for something that she has no talent in. She makes so much money out of it, when actual talented artists find it hard to maintain a living because they just can't get recognised because of people like Kesha. When you look at it, there's perfect reason to dislike, or even hate, her.
Luna Lovegood
I still can't believe Kesha has no talent. If anyone could make that music, why aren't their thousands of people with equally good songs?
evilhorus
tbh, if it sounds good, listen to it. I don't give a s*** for most artists talents (or lack of). Also gaise, if Ke$ha is so bad, how did Tik Tok sell more than "My Heart Will Go On" and "I Will Always Love You"? I'm not saying that Ke$ha has more talent than Houston or Dion (Not by a million miles) BUT she can make a catchy tune, voiceless or not. You can't deny that. This Account is Unplayable
Good is so opinionative it's not even worth arguing. Also, it's not the fact that no one else makes "good" music, in the sense it's similar to her. It's the fact they're never recognised for it. Frankly, the less artists like Kesha that get recognised, the better, imo. @Horus, these days music is made on image, not on the actual music. Fusion X. Denver
Honestly, your success in the entertainment industry, particularly in music, depends on the people you know and the connections you make. This is just an assumption, but I'm guessing Kesha got to where she is because she was able to grab the attention of someone in her record company who convinced other higher-ups to give her a chance and they liked what they saw. You know how Justin Bieber got famous? He grabbed the attention of Usher, who is very successful in the business. Bieber may be running on his own steam right now, but it was Usher who got him off the ground. Rebecca Black? She is now establishing a career because the music video she made with that crappy company got the attention of everyone in America. That attention earned her a place in Katy Perry's music video. This also prompted other music companies to try and sign her up because of all the attention she was getting. And now she has a new single, sounding nothing like her actual voice. It ALL depends on who you know. That doesn't just go for "crappy" artists, it's everyone.

JordanPark24
I don't why they say Ke$ha has no talent. True her music is auto-tuned, but isn't most dance music? If you actually hear sing when she's with her friends or partying, she's actually pretty good. I love her to death. Her sense of humor is what really gets me. I absolutely love that about her. At the moment, my favorite song by her is Blow, mainly because of the epic music video she came up with for it XD
Dharc
I'd just like to say one thing...Ke$ha is actually a certified genius, and she took on this persona simply because she knew she'd make money this way. Same thing for Gaga. I'm not gonna say anything about her talent or lack thereof, as everyone is entitled to their own opinions. *cough*CrabHelmet*cough*
Marisa Kirisame-ze
I really don't have respect for Ke Dollar Sign Ha. You can see it in her interviews and what she chooses to say, she's a wasted dumbass. I do like her songs for how catchy they are, but I don't think I ever will be a fan of her as a person. However, there is one song that got me to like her a little bit more because she finally decided to stop using auto tune for at least one song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u29qK84uvI It's still a bit rough with her "real voice", but it's an okay song. Mehmani
She doesn't write any of her music. She doesn't write any of her music. I say it twice because it is worth repeating. And onto Adele - Adele is a compromise. She doesn't even come close to the brilliance of Fitzgerald and Holliday, or maybe even someone like Winehouse, but she's a good bit better than every else in Pop at the moment. She showboats too much, doing wibbly-wobbly tonal vocals at the drop of a hat. Fitzgerald, Holliday and even Winehouse sang with doing stupid Mariah Carey stuff, and that is why they are brilliant. They recognized that beauty comes without showboating, and they used the distinctive characteristics their voices had to make standards their own. GraveHorizon
I woke up yesterday and turned the radio on to hear a song I hadn't heard before from Ke$ha. She rhymed 'up' with 'up' and 'us' with 'us'. That is a lyrical crime in my book.

Marisa Kirisame-ze
This just goes to show that she actually can sing and has somewhat of a talent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzQ5duqaCog However, as a person, I have absolutely no respect for her. She's quite trashy and isn't a very good speaker.
