[left][left]I've been posting this story elsewhere, but have decided to post it here as well, as this [i]is [/i]a Yu-Gi-Oh! site, and I thought it'd be nice to get more feedback, and get this out to more people.

[left][left]First off, a few thing about this...

[left][left][Spoiler=Backstory/Information]I will be using Advanced Format rules. The second series anime, GX and 5Ds are all treated as canon. This takes place nineteen years after the final episode of 5Ds. This means Yusei is a scientist in Neo Domino and Jack has once again become the King. Crow has retired from the Pro Leagues and has now developed Blackbird Delivery into a shipping company with headquarters based in Neo Domino. (The anime just showed him retiring, if I remember correctly, so therefore, the latter is my story.) Aki is now a doctor in a hospital located in a city that I shall call Osaine. I wasn’t clear on what Ruka was doing, so I’m just going to say she’s a teacher at a Duel Academy in the city she and Rua moved to, which for the purposes of this story shall be the city from ZeXal, Heartland, though less advanced. As Rua was recommended by Crow for the team he left, Rua will now be part of that Pro League team, which I believe was Ride Ace, though I’m unsure on that fact as I don’t recall whether that was the team Crow joined or not, but I believe he did get the invitation for the team. As you should be able to tell, I prefer the Japanese anime for Yu-Gi-Oh!, as with most animes. Therefore, I will refer to characters and other things by their Japanese names, unless I prefer an English one. (Examples are me calling Leo Rua and referring to Turbo Duels as Riding Duels.) While things like that may be known as their Japanese names in this story, cards will go by their TCG names unless I prefer an alternate name. I also shall use the terms “Release” and “Advance Summon” instead of “Sacrifice/Tribute” and “Sacrifice/Tribute Summon”, I like those terms, I think they sound nice, and if you have a problem with such a minor thing, I kindly ask you either keep it to yourself or leave. Another thing which this rule shall apply to is Exceed monsters. While this takes place prior to ZeXal, the storyline shall include these monsters. I think the term “Xyz” is silly, and prefer to call them “Exceed monsters” and the materials “Overlay Units”.[/spoiler]

As for the Duels, I change the way I format the stats in Chapter 2, and I plan to keep it that way. I will include a link to every TCG/OCG/anime/manga card's wiki page on its first appearance in the chapter. For any of my custom created cards, I will create those on the card maker, and post the images in a spoiler tag under the chapter. (I do not have these for Chapters 1 and 2 yet, and will make and add them after getting this post up.) With that said, I have Chapters 1 and 2 already written, so enjoy, I suppose

[b]Arc 1 - Rising[/b]
[i]Note for Chapter 1:[/i] When I wrote this, I forgot that using Vayu to summon a Synchro negates the effect, and therefore an effect does get used, but it wouldn't have affected the Duel's outcome too much anyways.
[Spoiler=Chapter 1][b]Chapter 1: The Wing of Night Rises[/b]
The headquarters were underground. The fact shouldn’t have been too surprising, considering it was the secret headquarters for a criminal ring called The Saviors. They claimed not to be criminals, but rather “Slayers of the wicked”, whatever that meant. A male figure dressed in a black riding suit decorated with red lines and a helmet with the same design walked through the hallway. He was known as the Wing of Night, the group’s top agent. No one knew his identity except for himself and one other. At the end of the hall, he reached a door that didn’t look much like a door. The only way to tell it was a door was the thin black outline around it, separating the area of metal that was the door from the rest of the metal wall. A keypad was fixed onto the wall to the right of the middle of the door. The man entered an access code in the keypad and spoke.
“A0047, R0001. Wing of Night.”
A computerized voice, similar to the female one used in D-Wheel systems responded. “[i]Recognized. Agent number forty-seven, rank number one, Wing of Night, you may enter.[/i]”
The door slid open and Wing of Night stepped through. As soon as he entered the room on the other side, the door swiftly closed. There was no one else in the room to be seen, but a voice could be heard. The voice of the Master, the leader of The Saviors. The only other person with the knowledge of Wing of Night’s true identity.
“Wing of Night, I have called you here to give you your most important task yet,” spoke the Master. The voice was somewhat rough, but very deep, identifying the Master as a man. “You know what our purpose is. Evolution can cause destruction. There was an alternate future in ruin. Ruin caused by Synchros. That fate was stopped by Yusei Fudo, but just barely. He is now part of a team that is developing a new type of Duel Monster known as “Exceed”. After seeing what could have happened with Synchros, he still went ahead with this, ignoring the fact that he nearly failed at stopping destruction last time.
“Up until now, we have fought against small, minor things. But now, we must stop the development of these ‘Exceed’ monsters. We will get to Dr. Fudo eventually, but first, I want you to eliminate the man who runs the company that is the biggest supporter and funder of this project.”
Four holograms appeared in front of Wing of Night, three of which began to materialize into a solid form.
“The three smaller ones are cards that I thought would work well with your deck. Use them. The last are the details of your mission. Don’t fail me.”
The voice stopped, and as the lead agent grabbed the cards, the floor he was standing on began to move downwards. As he was taken down to the ground level, he read his instructions.
[i]Is that all?[/i] he thought. [i]For some people, this may be though, but for me, with my powers... piece of cake…[/i]
Having finally hit the ground level, the D-Wheel garage, Wing of Night walked off to a space located opposite the garage door, passing many D-Wheels until he reached his. It, of course, was designed in the same style as his outfit. He pressed a few buttons to start it up and lift the door, and dashed out at high speeds.
Wing of Night pulled off the Domino Highway and onto a back street. He couldn’t use main roads, as he could easily be spotted. Highways were a bit less dangerous as he normally wouldn’t end up stopping, so there was less chance people would get a look at him, but it was still a bit of a risk.
He had to go a bit out of the way of the main city to reach his destination. He rode out past the suburban areas, traveling through a bit of farmland until he reached his destination, the Fullstorm Mansion. He pulled around back and locked his D-Wheel. He detached his Duel Disk from his D-Wheel as it was a hybrid model. The Disk shared the same color scheme as his other possessions and was shaped in the form of a wing. Wing of Night took his monster and Trap cards out of a deck case, and took his ground Spells out of another, and put them together in his Wrist Dealer. He then started scouting for a back entrance as he wanted to be stealthy for as long as he could.
The guards obviously didn’t want that to happen, however. The only back entrance he found was guarded by two muscular men in suits that looked like they came straight from some spy agency.
[i]Fine, I guess they’ll have to die too…[/i] thought Wing of Night. “[url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Shura_the_Blue_Flame"]Shura[/url],” he whispered. A card in his deck began to glow lightly as blue balls of fire appeared in his palms. He threw them at the guards, who screamed as they burst into flame before falling over, dead. He summoned more fire, launching it at the door to break it down. Alarms noises started to blare as he rushed inside, running through the halls and up the many sets of stairs. On the final floor, he realized that even if he reached the room he was trying to reach, the mass of guards following him would make it so he couldn’t enter. He sent a large burst of blue fire down the stairs. While it probably killed on the front few, the burst would have knocked the other back, and possibly caused some necks to snap.
Wing of Night fell to one knee. That last burst of power had drained him. However, he couldn’t stop. He pushed himself to keep going, and ran to the end of the hall, seeing two final men guarding the last door.
[i]Finally there! I’m too exhausted to use that power now, but I can deal with these two the old fashioned way.[/i]
He jumped, flying forward with a fist out that collided with the first man’s face, smashing him against the wall, then spun around, landing a kick in the other man’s groin. He then leaped back, landing on both his feet, facing the door.
“I know that’s your room, Fullstorm!” called Wing of Night. “Come out and face me!”
The door slid open, and a light-skinned, blond haired man who looked to be in his late forties, dressed in black dress shoes and dress pants, a white button down shirt, a brown business-like jacket and a red tie stepped out, looking rather annoyed.
“Henry Fullstorm, president of the Fullstorm Corporation,” acknowledged Wing of Night. “Your company is the largest supporter and funder of the Exceed project. I have received orders to kill you for that reason. If I still had energy for it left, I would just burn you to a crisp now like I did to a lot of your guards. However, right now, my energy is exhausted, and I would only be able to summon that power in one way.” He tapped his Duel Disk.
“Make no mistake, Mr. Fullstorm. If you attempt to leave, I will hunt you down. Would you rather that happen, or would you prefer to duel for your freedom here and now?”
“Fine, then,” said Henry Fullstorm. He rapped the wall and a compartment opened. He dug inside, taking out a standard blue and white model duel Disk, already loaded with a Deck. Both players activated their Disks, causing their Decks to automatically shuffle.
“DUEL!” they both screamed as they drew their opening hands of five.

“Since you were the one who broke into my house and killed at least half of my staff, I think I deserve turn one,” said Henry as he drew his card. “I think I’ll lead with this! I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Kageki"]Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki[/url]!"
In a burst of lightning, a four armed samurai appeared, holding a sword in each hand, protected by bronze armor. [b][ATK: 200, Lv:3][/b]
“Now I’ll activate his effect! Since I Normal Summoned him, I get to Special Summon another Six Samurai monster. I think I shall pick my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Kagemusha_of_the_Six_Samurai"]Kagemusha of the Six Samurai[/url]!”
This warrior was clothed in some kind of green colored material, with parts of his body covered by armor decorated with lines and symbols. He wielded a black staff, and long red hair flowed out from under his helmet. [b][ATK: 400, Lv: 3][/b]
“Now, because I have another Six Samurai monster out, Kageki gets a little bonus.” [b][ATK: 200 – 1700][/b] “Also, since I have a face-up Six Samurai monster, I’m allowed to Special Summon the [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Grandmaster_of_the_Six_Samurai"]Grandmaster of the Six Samurai[/url]!”
Blue waves of energy rippled, and from them appeared an old man, with long white hair, and a beard and mustache of the same color. He gripped a sword with two hands and his armor looked somewhat futuristic, despite the fact that he was a samurai. [b][ATK: 2100, Lv: 5][/b]
“I tune my Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki to the Tuner monster Kagemusha of the Six Samurai!”
Kageki’s body became an orange outline containing three glowing white stars, while Kagemusha changed into two green circles that surrounded Kageki, and there was a flash of green light.
[i]“I call upon you, master of the Legendary Six! Share the power of your blade with me and strike down our foes! Synchro Summon,[/i]” Henry began to chant.

“[i][url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Shi_En"]Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En[/url]![/i]”
A large, red armored samurai appeared in that flash, swinging his sword, ready to attack. [b][ATK: 2500, Lv: 5][/b]
“I’ll leave it at that.”
“Six Samurai?” asked Wing of Night as he drew. “Cheap, but not unbeatable. I use the effect of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sirocco"]Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn[/url]! Since you have monsters out, but I don’t, I’m allowed to Normal Summon it with no Releases, despite it being level 5.”
As the card was slapped on the Duel Disk, the birdman appeared, shrieking and flapping its wings. [b][ATK: 2000, Lv: 5][/b]
“I think I’ll now go with a strategy not unlike that of the Samurai. I activate the effect of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Bora_the_Spear"]Blackwing – Bora the Spear[/url] from my hand! As I have another Blackwing out, I can Special Summon him!”
This monster was shorter than Sirocco and his wings were dark blue as opposed to Sirocco’s black ones. However, while Sirocco did not carry a weapon, Bora carried a large lance. [b][ATK: 1700, Lv: 4][/b]
“I’ll now go ahead and activated Sirocco’s second effect, changing Bora’s attack strength into the combined total of all Blackwings on the field.”
Bora grew in size as power flowed into him. He swung his lance as if to test how much stronger it had become with the boost. [b][ATK: 1700 – 3700][/b]
“Bora, attack Grandmaster!” Bora the Spear thrust his lance into Grandmaster of the Six Samurai’s stomach, who groaned before shattering. [b][Henry Fullstorm: 8000 - 6400LP][/b]
[i]With Shi En there, I have to hope he negates the first card I activate so I can use my second, more powerful card.[/i]
“I set two cards face-down, and that will end my turn.” Two reversed cards appeared in Wing of Night’s back row.
“As it’s the End Phase, the attack score of Bora returns to normal.” [b][ATK: 3700 – 1700][/b]
“I draw,” said Henry as he did so. “Now, I’ll summon my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Kizan"]Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan![/url]”
“I’ll counter with [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Bottomless"]Bottomless Trap Hole[/url]!” called Wing of Night.

[left][left]“I activate Shi En's ability, Sword Suppression! This negates and destroys your trap!” The card that was starting to lift up shattered. “Kizan’s summoning continues!”
Right on cue, a samurai wearing blue and gold armor appeared, pointing his sword in the direction of Wing of Night. [b][ATK: 1800, Lv: 4][/b]
“Sadly, my hand isn’t the best right now, so I can’t boost Kizan’s points. But that’s fine, it can still handle one of your monsters without it. Oh, and, I know that face-down is probably something like [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mirror_Force"]Mirror Force[/url]. You were trying to get around Shi En’s effect by setting two traps, eh?”
Wing of Night grunted as Henry inserted a Spell card into his disk and [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mystical_Space_Typhoon"]Mystical Space Typhoon[/url] destroyed his second card in a strong gust of wind, proving it was indeed Mirror Force.
“Shi En, take care of his Sirocco, and you, Kizan, wipe out Bora!”
The two swordsmen leaped and violently cut through the birdmen, destroying them. Wing of Night groaned as he lost Life Points. [b][Wing of Night: 8000 - 7400LP][/b]
“I set one card and end my turn.” A face-down card appeared in Henry’s Spell and Trap Zone.
“Then I draw,” spat Wing of Night as he looked at his new card, which he set face-down in the monster zone. “Go.”
“With pleasure.” Henry drew. “I activate my face-down [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Double-Edged_Sword_Technique"]Double Edged Sword Technique[/url], allowing me to Summon back my Kageki and Kagemusha!”
The two samurai appeared again. [b][ATK: 200 – 1700, Lv: 3][/b] [b][ATK: 400, Lv: 2][/b]
“As I now have two or more Six Samurai besides Kizan, I can boost Kizan’s stats by 300!” [b][ATK: 1800 – 2100][/b]
“Now, I think I’ll duplicate my Shi En by Tuning my newly resummoned Kageki and Kagemusha once more!”
Once again, Kageki’s body became an orange outline containing three glowing white stars as Kagemusha changed into two green circles that surrounded Kageki causing a flash of green light for the second time.

A second red samurai appeared beside the first. [b][ATK: 2500, Lv: 5][/b]
“Oh no…” muttered Wing of Night.
“Kizan, dispatch his face-down monster!”
Kizan rushed forward, and swung his sword, cutting the Set monster in half, revealing it to be a small white bird in what seemed to be a black cloak, [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Vayu"]Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor[/url].
“Go forth, both my Shi Ens! Attack directly!” commanded Henry. The two monsters leapt up and slashed their swords across Wing of Night’s chest, slamming him into the floor. [b][Wing of Night: 7400 - 2400LP][/b]
“I end there.”
Wing of Night dragged himself into a sitting position, then slowly stood up, groaning. He spat out some blood and silently drew his card, placing it into his disk.
Henry looked at the card. [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Whirlwind"]Black Whirlwind[/url]. [i]If he has Shura and gets [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Kalut"]Kalut[/url] and [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gale"]Gale[/url]… better to just be safe…[/i]
“Sword Supressor!” The Spell card shattered.
“I’ll play [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Allure_of_Darkness"]Allure of Darkness[/url] then.”
“I’m not going to let you draw more cards, either! I use my second Shi En’s effect! Sword Supresser!”
Wing of Night smiled under his helmet as he fitted the card into his Graveyard. “You can’t use your effect anymore, so I play… [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spellbook_Inside_the_Pot"]Spellbook Inside the Pot[/url]!”
As the Spell appeared on the field, Henry gasped. “It wasn’t Shura?”
“I bluffed you nicely, old man, didn’t I? Now we both draw three cards, so hurry up, I don’t have all night!”
Wing of Night looked at his new cards. He glanced at the first. [i]Nothing special there. [/i]His eyes wandered to the next two. [i]How… did I pull [/i]that [i]off? They’re both cards from the Master! And I can search out the third with these, too![/i]
“I first activate the Field Spell, Wing Walls!” A storm of feathers began to swirl, surrounding the field.
“What does THAT do?”
“All in good time Mr. Fullstorm. All in good time. Next, I activate the Spell, God Hunter! This lets me add a DIVINE monster from my deck to my hand!”
“A [i]what[/i] attribute monster?”
“You heard me. I add Elemental Destroyer – Wingslasher to my hand!”
“What card is that?”
“You’ll see,” said Wing of Night as the card popped out of his disk. “For I am about to play it!” He threw the card on to the disk causing a raging wind to pick up within the Wing Walls. When the storm died down, a large eagle-like creature was there. It was almost pure gold, with a few streaks of silver here and there. It let out a bloodcurling shriek as flapped its wings, putting a look of pure terror on Henry Fullstorm’s face. [b][ATK: 2200, Lv: 4][/b]
“Th- that’s a god?” asked Henry nervously.
“Yes, yes it is. Now while it may not look like much, it does break the two thousand point rule with no drawbacks, and it’s effect is pretty useful. And this one is actually the weakest card in the archetype from what I have heard. I also see that the sight of Wingslasher here is scaring you quite a bit. Now, I wouldn’t want you to wet those pants of yours as they were probably very expensive, although you’ll be dead soon anyway, but just know, Wingslasher shall exit the field in just a few moments.
“But first, I’ll activate his effect. Once per turn, I am allowed to take one Tuner monster from my deck and add it to my hand.” A card popped out of Wing of Night’s Duel Disk. As he took it to place in his hand, he revealed it to be Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind.
“Now, the effect of Wing Walls is that once per turn, if I control a Winged Beast, I can special summon another from my hand, as long as it’s a lower level as the one I have on the field already. If my memory of kindergarten is correct, three is less than four, so I Special Summon Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind!”
A small black bird with green head feathers appeared. [b][ATK: 1300, Lv:3][/b]
“First, I’ll activate the effect of Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor from my Graveyard. I remove Vayu and another Blackwing from play. I’ll pick my Sirocco. Now that I’ve done that, I can Special Summon a Syncho Monster from my Extra Deck, provided the level of it matches the levels of the removed monsters combined.”
[b][*5 + *1 = *6][/b]
There was a burst of silver light, and suddenly there was a muscular humanoid bird flying above Wing of Night. This one was armed with a rifle. [b][ATK: 2300, Lv: 6][/b]
“Meet [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Armed_Wing"]Blackwing Armed Wing[/url]! I’ll now tune Elemental Destroyer – Wingslasher to Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind!”
Wingslasher’s body turned into a silver outline containing four gold stars, while Gale turned into three green rings that surrounded Wingslasher. There was an explosion of gold light as Wing of Night began to chant.
“[i]I call forth the power of the dark master. Guarded by the strongest armor, claws sharpened for the best offense! Synchro Summon![/i]”

“[i]Unleash the storm, [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Armor_Master"]Blackwing Armor Master[/url]![/i]"
This bird humanoid was the largest yet. Its armor protected it, but didn’t cover all of its body, so its muscular figure was partially displayed. It only had one eye, a huge one, where its face should have been, but it had many on the edge of his orange and black wings. [b][ATK: 2500, Lv: 7][/b]
“I now activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Book_of_Moon"]Book of Moon[/url], flipping Kizan into Defense mode.”
The blue and gold samurai vanished and was replaced by a card backing.
“Armed Wing, attack the reversed Kizan! Black Charge!” Armed Wing rapidly fired its rifle at the Set monster. “When Armed Wing attacks a Defense position monster, it gains five hundred attack points!” [b][ATK: 2300 – 2800][/b]
The rifle shots collided with the card, causing it to shatter into little shards.
“By the way, Armed Wing inflicts Piercing damage, and since Kizan’s Defense is five hundred, well, let me just say I’d hate to be you in this position.”
Armed Wing reaimed his rifle, pointing it at Henry Fullstorm this time and began to fire rapidly again. The shots blew him into the door and cut his skin, causing lots of blood to drip to the floor. [b][Henry Fullstorm: 6400 - 4100LP][/b]
After a few moments, Henry asked, “What was that?... Why was that [i]real[/i]?”
“I am just simply getting serious about this, Mr. Fullstorm. As the duel is drawing to a close, I decided it is now the time to invoke my special powers and deal real damage to you. If you have forgotten, my task [i]is [/i]to kill you. Now, Armor Master, attack one of his Shi Ens! Black Hurricane!”
The monster dived forward and punched one of the Shi Ens.
“Now, you have a choice, Mr. Fullstorm. You could activate Shi En’s effect to negate the destruction of it by Releasing your other Shi En, but then this one would be left with a Wedge Counter. It’s not like Armor Master is going anywhere due to his ability.”
“I… don’t activate the effect.”
“Good man,” said Wing of Night as one Shi En shattered into pixels. “I’ll end my turn there.”
Henry drew silently, setting one card face-down in his Spell and Trap Zone. “Shi En… take out Armed Wing.”
The remaining Shi En quickly cut Armed Wing in half, eager to avenge his companion. [b][Wing of Night: 2400 – 2200LP][/b]
“H- how come [i]you[/i] didn’t feel anything…?”
“Stupid old fool. You really think I’d make it so I get hit with real damage like you?” Wing of Night began to laugh.
“Do you think THIS is funny? I activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Hole"]Dark Hole[/url]!”
A black hole opened up under the field, sucking all the monsters into the vortex.
“Since I haven’t Normal Summoned yet, I’ll summon another Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan.”
A second copy of the gold and blue samurai appeared. [b][ATK: 1800, Lv: 4][/b]
“I end my turn.”
Wing of Night drew, looked at the card, then placed his new drawn [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Reborn"]Monster Reborn[/url] card into his Duel Disk. The green ankh appeared in front of him, Armor Master reappearing from it. [b][ATK: 2500, Lv: 7][/b]
“Black Hurricane!” he commanded as Armor Master slammed its fist into Kizan, shattering it with the shards flying back and slicing into Henry. [b][Henry Fullstorm: 4100 – 3400LP][/b]
“Make your move. If you can…”
“Of course I can,” snapped Henry as he drew weakly. “I activate my second Double Edged Sword Technique, once again reviving Kageki and Kagemusha…”
The two samurai appeared for the third time. [b][ATK: 200 – 1700, Lv: 3][/b] [b][ATK: 400, Lv: 2][/b]
“I tune them together again!”
For the third time, Kageki’s body became an orange outline containing three glowing white stars as Kagemusha changed into two green circles that surrounded Kageki causing a flash of green light once again.

“I draw!” Wing of Night glanced at the card. “I activate Mystical Space Typhoon!” The gust of wind struck the face-down, revealing it to be [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Cylinder"]Magic Cylinder[/url] before it shattered. “Black Hurricane.”
Armor Master rushed foreward, smashing his fist into Shi En, causing him to explode and shatter into millions of pieces.
“Take your last turn, old man.”
Henry drew, placed a defensive monster face-down and nodded weakly to signal the end of his turn.
Wing of Night drew, and activated the card. The coffin of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Burial_from_a_Different_Dimension"]Burial from a Different Dimension[/url] appeared. He took Vayu and Sirocco out of his pocket, returned them to his Graveyard, then pocketed them again to repeat Vayu’s effect.
“If you’ll repeat your old tricks, then I’ll repeat mine. I’ll summon my second…”

“Blackwing Armed Wing! Black Charge!” The new Armed Wing fired multiple shots from its rifle at the Set monster [b][ATK: 2300 – 2800][/b], revealing it to be a third Kizan before breaking through it and ripping through Henry Fullstorm, causing him to fall to the floor, barely breathing. [b][Henry Fullstorm: 3100 – 800LP][/b]
“I suppose you placed Kizan in Defense mode even though its ATK is higher because you didn’t want any pain from the Life Point damage, is that right? It seems you just got [i]more[/i] this way. Look at you, you’re barely alive. Any last words before I kill you?”
“Yeah, I have a few,” gasped Henry. “You can tell your boss this is all futile. No matter what, the Exceed project will be finished, whether I’m funding it or not. You all are idiots.”
“DIE!” screamed Wing of Night. “ARMOR MASTER, BLACK HURRICANE!”
Armor Master swung his fist forward, smashing it into Fullstorm’s chest, causing blood to come up and bones to crack.

Half an hour later, Wing of Night was on the highway, returning to headquarters, when he noticed a police D-Wheel riding behind him.
The officer spoke. “Wing of Night, prepare yourself. I, Head Officer Ushio of the Neo Domino Police shall bring you in for your constant lawbreaking. Are you ready to lose everything?”[/spoiler]

[i]Chapter 2 – NDP, Allies of Justice[/i]
“If it were practical, I would take out my gun, shoot you and then apprehend you. However, you might be able to dodge my shots on something like a D-Wheel. And I can’t take the risk of you contacting any allies you may have to come and help you if I do start firing. Therefore…”
He hit a button on the console of his D-Wheel.
“…I’ll force your D-Wheel into Duel Mode. I’m not sure how many people know this, but this forced Duel mode shuts off your D-Wheel’s communication systems, so that means you won’t be calling for help anytime during our match. Then when I beat you and your D-Wheel stops, I’ll apprehend you, and that’ll be goodbye Wing of Night.”
Wing of Night chuckled. “It’s a very nice plan on paper, Ushio, but it’ll never work. You see, you will never be able to actually win. I’m one of the best.”
“I’m not exactly a novice myself. I’ve had some pretty good games with Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlas.”
“I’ve heard. I’ve also heard you’re the best cop in the city. But you won’t be able to beat me with that little special pursuit deck you cops like using, especially now that [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Goyo"]Goyo Guardian[/url] is banned.”
“First off, since those decks are used for chasing criminals, the Neo Domino Police D-Wheels are modified to accept certain Forbidden cards, Goyo included. And second, not all of the force uses that deck. Sure, a lot do, but it’s not required. For the short time Crow Hogan was an officer, when the NDP was created, he still used his Deck. Now I use my own.”
“Fine, then. Let’s see what you’ve got!”
They hit another button on their consoles, saying “[url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_World_2"]Speed World 2[/url], set on!” as they did so.
A computerized voice sounded from the vehicles as a map of the highway appeared on the screens. “[i]Searching for optimal route. Authorization. Duel lane central, chosen.[/i]”
The two turned and drove through a duel gate, as yellow barriers began to spring up, cutting off the lane from the rest of the highway as the same voice, projected via speakers on the highway began to speak again. “[i]A Duel is commencing! A Duel is commencing! All other vehicles, move into the next lane. A Duel is commencing…”[/i]
The two drew their opening hands as they shouted, “RIDING DUEL! ACCELERATION!”

[b][Wing of Night: 8000LP/0SPC] [Ushio: 8000LP/0SPC][/b]
“A criminal like you doesn’t deserve the first move,” said Ushio, “but I’ll gladly take it! “He looked at his new card.
“I’ll set a card face down and a monster in Defense mode.” The two cards appeared, but as this was a Riding Duel, they disappeared almost instantly, like everything that wasn’t a monster did in these kinds of Duels. “Go.”
Wing of Night drew as the Speed Counters increased by 1. “I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Bora_the_Spear"]Blackwing – Bora the Spear[/url]!” The humanoid bird holding the lance appeared, swinging it. [[u]1700[/u]/800/LV4] “I then set one card.” The card appeared, then disappeared.
Wing of Night didn’t see it, but this caused
“Bora, attack his reversed monster! Black lance burst!” Bora dashed forward, causing the reversed monster card to reappear.
“I activate my face-down card!” The Trap spun around. “My [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/DNA_Transplant"]DNA Transplant[/url] lets me change the attribute of every monster on the field to the one I choose, and I pick Light!” Bora began to glow with a white outline as the Trap vanished once more.
Bora swung his lance down, impaling the monster, which was an odd dark purple sphere covered in holes. [400/[u]300[/u]]
As Bora jumped backwards to return to his side of the field, something odd happened. Instead of shattering, the creature stayed stuck to his lance.
“What’s going on?” demanded Wing of Night.
“The monster you attacked was actually a bomb known as [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ally_Salvo"]Ally Salvo[/url]. When it’s destroyed by a Light attribute monster, it causes two cards on the field to go boom. And thanks to my Trap, guess what Bora is?”
“Bora still deals Piercing!”
Bora threw his lance at Ushio just before Ally Salvo exploded, taking Bora and Wing of Night’s Set card with it.
The lance flew at Ushio’s shoulder, grazing the top and causing him to scream out in pain.
“This is real!?”
“Yep,” confirmed Wing of Night. “The damage you experience shall be real. I have things to do, so I’m not playing around here. Make your move, I’m done.”

[b][Wing of Night: 8000LP/1SPC] [Ushio: 6600LP/1SPC][/b]
As Ushio drew, both players’ Speed Counters Clicked up to two. “I call upon another creature once used by the Diablo. However, now that they serve me, they will protect this city, truly living up to the name ‘Ally of Justice’. I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ally_of_Justice_Quarantine"]Ally of Justice Quarantine[/url]!” A small robotic creature appeared, pulling along an odd prism behind it as the Trap card spun around again, causing both the monster and prism to glow with a white aura. [[u]1700[/u]/1200/LV4]
“Attack directly with isolation blast!” commanded Ushio. A blast of energy shot out of the prism, striking Wing of Night’s back. However, like the previous Duel he was in, Wing of Night had set up the real pain as a one-way thing, so he only felt an impact up to the extent of what the Solid Vision systems could produce. “I’ll set two cards face-down, and I’ll let you go.”

[b][Wing of Night: 6300LP/2SPC] [Ushio: 6600LP/2SPC][/b]
“I don’t suppose ‘I’ll let you go’ means you’re done with this little game and are going to let me go? No? Well, then…” He placed the card he had just drawn on his console. “I’m activating the effect of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sirocco"]Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn[/url]. Since you have a monster and I don’t, I can Normal Summon him without Releasing anything.” Another humanoid bird that Wing of Night had used in the duel with Fullstorm appeared, this one larger than Bora. It flapped its large wings when it appeared. [[u]2000[/u]/900/LV5]
“Sorry, but your monsters won’t be evading justice either, at least not when I activate my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Bottomless"]Bottomless Trap Hole[/url]! This card will destroy and banish any summoned monster as long as it has 1500 or more ATK. And from the looks of it, your Sirocco has plenty.”
A hole opened up in the road, sucked Sirocco in, and closed up as fast as it had appeared.
“In that case…” said Wing of Night, looking at his hand. “When a player has two or more Speed Counters, they can activate this card. At last count, I had three, so, welcome to the main aspect of the Riding Duel, Speed Spells. Like this one, [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_Spell_-_Angel_Baton"]Angel Baton[/url]! Now I draw twice…” He did so. “Now I toss a card.” He discarded the [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Fane_the_Steel_Chain"]Blackwing – Fane the Steel Chain[/url] that he had just drawn. “Then I activate another Speed Spell! This one is known as Speed Spell – A Glimmer of Hope. I can activate this during the turn a monster of mine is destroyed!”
“But, I banished Sirocco, I didn’t destroy it!"
“Wrong. If you look at your Bottomless Trap Hole card more carefully, you’ll see the effect is ‘destroy and banish’. Therefore, I [i]am [/i]allowed to play this card. I have three Speed Counters, so from my hand I can Special Summon a monster with a level equal or lower to that.”
“Going for [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gale"]Gale[/url]?”
“Nope, cause I activate another effect of my Speed Spell. By discarding cards from my hand, I can increase the Level of the monster I’m allowed to summon by two for each one.” He slid two cards, [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Vayu"]Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor[/url] and [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Blizzard_the_Far_North"]Blackwing – Blizzard the Far North[/url] , into his discard slot. “Now I can summon my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Elphin"]Blackwing - Elphin the Raven[/url]!” Another humanoid bird, this one mainly black with gray limbs and some purple armor, with a head that really did look like a large raven’s, appeared, gliding next to Wing of Night’s D-Wheel. [[u]2200[/u]/1200/LV6]
“Sadly, I now lose one Speed Counter as Elphin is one level less than the Level I was allowed to Summon."
“That’s not all you’ll lose. It seems that everything you just did was a waste. I activate my trap, Revival of the Hidden Attack! This card can only be used to its full potential in Riding Duels. First, I discard a card.” He tossed an Ally Salvo. “Then I get to activate one Trap Card from my Graveyard, like Bottomless Trap Hole!"
The hole reopened and Elphin fell in, vanishing.
[i]I can’t even use the Vayu I discarded in this situation because both the monsters I could use as Material for [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Armed_Wing"]Armed Wing[/url] or [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Armor_Master"]Armor Master[/url] are already banished, and aren’t in the Graveyard…[/i]
“I end my turn..."
“Good, because in the End Phase of the turn my Trap was activated, I can discard any number of cards from my hand. Then for each one, I get a Speed Counter! So I’ll get rid of this…” He placed his third and final Ally Salvo in his discard slot.
“Now I’ll take my turn,” he said, drawing. “I Release Quarantine to Advance Summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ally_of_Justice_Clausolas"]Ally of Justice Clausolas[/url]!” The small robot vanished into a ball of rainbow energy, only to have a much larger mechanical condor replace it instead. [[u]2300[/u]/1200/LV6]
“A normal monster, eh?”
“He may not have an ability, but he’s still packing heat. Literally. Show him what I mean, my beast, with Mecha-flare!” The large bird breathed a stream of fire that proceeded to engulf Wing of Night and his D-Wheel.
“Make your move."

[b][Wing of Night: 4000LP/3SPC] [Ushio: 6600LP/5SPC][/b]
Wing of Night drove out of the flames, his D-Wheel wobbling a bit. “Eh, not bad, that was a good one. My draw!” He looked at the card and grinned under his helmet.
“I activate the effect of Speed World 2, letting me remove four Speed Counters…” His D-Wheel fell even farther behind Ushio’s. “This lets me inflict 800 points of direct damage to you for every Speed Spell in my hand. And guess what I just drew?”
The headlights on Wing of Night’s D-Wheel began to flash and they shot beams at Ushio’d D-Wheel, one red and one black. Ushio groaned as they struck.
“Now, I’ll activate this Speed Spell!”
“How? That stunt left you with no counters!”
“True… But that was my plan. I activate Speed Spell – The Lagging Speedster. I know the name sounds odd, so let me explain...
“This card can only be activated when there’s at least a difference of five between the number of Speed Counters you have, and the number your opponent has. The difference right now is six, meaning you’d be the speedster and I’d be the one lagging. Get it?
“But enough of that, on to the effect of it. This lets me draw two cards.” He did so. “Now I’ll summon Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind!” The small black tuner bird with green feathers on its head appeared. [[u]1300[/u]/400/LV3]
“Now I activate its effect to halve the attack and defense of your Clausolas permanently.” Gale the Whirlwind started up a hurricane which struck the much larger bird. [[u]1150[/u]/600/LV6]
“And here’s the part where my good old fashioned bird destroys your idiotic mechanical one. Gale!” The Tuner whipped up another hurricane, this one much stronger, and slammed it into Clausolas, causing it to shatter.
“Now let’s see what you can do.”

[b][Wing of Night: 4000LP/0SPC] [Ushio: 5650LP/6SPC][/b]
As Ushio drew his card, the Speed Counters clicked up once more. “I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Junk_Synchron"]Junk Synchron[/url].”
The small, cute orange robot best known for being used by Yusei Fudo appeared. [[u]1300[/u]/500/LV3]
“Now I activate its effect, letting me revive a Level 2 or lower monster from my grave in defense mode, provided I give up its effect. So come back, Ally Salvo!”
The strange looking bomb from the start of the Duel reappeared. [400/[u]300[i]][/i][/u]
“Now I’m not bringing out Junk Warrior. I’m bringing out a card so good, that it’s in the Extra Deck of pretty much everyone who can get their hands on it.
Wing of Night gulped. He knew what was coming out. He had actually asked the Master for a copy of the card, as well as a copy of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Brionac"]Brionac[/url], as they were both powerful cards that weren’t hard to Synchro Summon.
“[i]The darkness of justice calls forth its most powerful soldier to fight against the Light of Ruin…[/i]” Ushio began to chant as Junk Synchron turned into three green rings that encircled Ally Salvo, causing it to turn into two glowing stars.
[b][*2 + *3 = *5][/b]
“[i]Synchro Summon… [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Catastor"]Ally of Justice Catastor[/url]![/i]” A silver beast with a black underbelly and thin legs with a single gold claw attached to the end of each appeared, gliding beside Ushio’s D-Wheel. Its face was no more than a strange robotic eye. [[u]2200[/u]/1200/LV5]
“Attack Gale with Eye of swift justice!” Catastor blasted a laser beam out of its single eye.
“Now Catastor’s effect kicks in. Whenever it battles a non-Dark monster, it automatically wipes it out. And if you’ve forgotten, all monsters on the field are Light-attribute.”
Gale exploded on contact with the attack.
“Good news for you is that this doesn’t apply damage calculation, so your Life Points are safe. For now…”
Wing of Night drew, and smiled under his helmet when he saw what it was.
[i]I can use this next turn, provided I can last until then.[/i]
He nodded, signaling for Ushio to take his turn.
“You don’t seem like someone who would pass a turn,” said Ushio as he drew, “but whatever.” He looked at the card.
[i]Not a monster…[/i]
“I set one card face-down.” The card he just drew appeared on the field and vanished.
“Catastor, attack directly with Eye of swift justice!” Catastor fired the beam again, this time hitting Wing of Night.
“I end my turn."

[b][Wing of Night: 1800LP/3SPC] [Ushio: 5650LP/9SPC][/b]
“Then I’ll go!” exclaimed Wing of Night as he drew.
[i]Yes![/i] he screamed in his head when he saw what it was.
“First, when I have three or more Speed Counters, I can activate Speed Spell – High Tornado by paying 400 Life Points! Now I can destroy one Spell or Trap on the field, and I think I’ll choose your DNA Transplant!”
The card reappeared, only to have a large tornado suck it up and destroy it.
“I couldn’t play it last turn as I didn’t have enough Speed Counters, but it doesn’t really matter now, does it? Now I’ll summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Shura_the_Blue_Flame"]Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame[/url].”
A new bird humanoid appeared, this one with a blue bird’s head. Blue balls of fire danced around in its palm and it was clearly the source that Wing of Night had drawn his power of fire from earlier. [[u]1800[/u]/1200/LV4]
“Shura, attack his Catastor with Blue firestorm!” Shura hurled a fireball at the Ally of Justice monster.
“What kind of an idiot are you?” asked Ushio.
“My answer to that is… I’m not one. I’ll now use my last surprise.” He slid the last card in his hand into the discard slot. “When I discard [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Kalut"]Kalut the Moon Shadow[/url], an attacking Blackwing gains 1400 attack points until the End Phase. Lunar force, activate!”
A giant moon rose up behind Shura, causing his fireball to glow brighter and enlarge. [[u]3200[/u]/1200/LV4] It hit Catastor, and it burned in the flames before shattering.
“I now activate Shura’s effect, letting me summon a low-powered Blackwing from my deck, like Vayu the Emblem of Honor!” The small bird that seemed to be wearing a cloak appeared. [[u]800[/u]/0/LV1]
“Nice, but I’m not going to let that thing attack me directly.” Ushio’s other face-down lifted up. “My Call of the Haunted will revive my Catastor.”
The ace of the Allies of Justice reappeared in dark purple energy. [[u]2200[/u]/1200/LV5]
“In that case, I’ll move to Main Phase 2. You see, when a monster is summoned by Shura, it loses its effects. Therefore, I’m allowed to use the Vayu on the field as Synchro Material. So I’ll tune my Shura to my Vayu in order to bring out someone you should find quite familiar…”
Vayu turned into one green circle that encircled Shura, who had turned into four glowing white stars.
“[i]Ace of the warriors that went into battle against the Light, I call you to serve me in this battle![/i]”

“[i]Synchro Summon… Ally of Justice Catastor![/i]”
A copy of Ushio’s mechanical monster appeared on Wing of Night’s side of the field. [[u]2200[/u]/1200/LV5]
“I end my turn."

[b][Wing of Night: 1400LP/4SPC] [Ushio: 4650LP/10SPC][/b]
“I Release Catastor to Advance Summon a second Clausolas!” Catastor turned into an orb of glowing rainbow energy which burst into another large bird which proceeded to fly above the field. [[u]2300[/u]/1200/LV6]
“Mecha-flare attack! Roast his Catastor, Clausolas!” The giant bird let loose more flames, which reduced Catastor to ashes.
“That’s all for me."

[b][Wing of Night: 1300LP/5SPC] [Ushio: 4650LP/11SPC][/b]
Wing of Night threw his card onto his console as soon as he saw what it was. It was a second Lagging Speedster. He drew his two cards. “I Set a monster and end my turn."
Ushio drew. “I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Plaguespreader"]Plaguespreader Zombie[/url].” A reeking, rotting purple zombie appeared. [[u]400[/u]/200]
“Clausolas, attack the face-down monster. Mecha-flame.” Clausolas incinerated the reversed monster, a small blue bird wearing a silver mask. [0/[u]1800[/u]]
“When my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Mistral_the_Silver_Shield"]Mistral[/url] bites the dust, he prevents me from taking damage from the next battle, so that means your puny zombie won’t be dealing out some tiny bit of damage. Now I discard my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Etesian_of_Two_Swords"]Blackwing – Etesian of Two Swords[/url] in order to deal 1000 damage to you because the monster I battled is still on the field.”
Ushio screamed as a bolt of pain shot through him.
“Take your turn, then…"

[b][Wing of Night: 1300/6SPC] [Ushio: 3650LP/12SPC][/b]
[i]This had better be good, [/i]thought Wing of Night as he drew. “I activate the effect of Speed World 2 and reduce my counters by seven…” Wing of Night’s Speed Counters fell to 0 as he slowed down, falling way behind Ushio. “This lets me draw one card.” He pulled the card from his gauntlet.
“When I control no cards, I’m allowed to Special Summon Blackwing – [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Gust_the_Backblast"]Gust the Backblast[/url] from my hand!”
A colorful bird humanoid, this one’s main feather colors being blue and green as opposed to the usual black, appeared. [[u]900[/u]/1400/LV2]
“And since that was a Special Summon, I’m still allowed a Normal Summon this turn, so I’ll use that to bring out Blackwing – Blizzard the far North.”
The small ice-blue bird with a black trim around its wing feathers appeared, screeching as it began to fly next to Wing of Night’s D-Wheel. [[u]1300[/u]/0/LV2]
“When he’s Normal Summoned, I’m allowed to revive a Level four or lower Blackwing from my grave in defense mode, so I think I’ll bring back my friend Shura."
The Blackwing of fire reappeared next to the D-Wheel, however, this time he was crouched in a defensive stance. [1800/[u]1200[/u]/LV4]
“Now, while I may not have Black-Winged Dragon, I do have the next best thing when it comes to Blackwings, and any Dark-attribute archetype, really. I’m Tuning my Shura the Blue Flame and my Gust the Backblast to my Blizzard the Far North…”
Blizzard turned into two green rings that circled Shura and Gust, who proceeded to turn into six glowing white stars.
“[i]Descend from the darkness… The aspect that can be considered both just and evil, destroy those that oppose my goals..."[/i]

“[i]Synchro Summon! [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_End_Dragon"]Dark End Dragon[/url]![/i]”
A large black dragon appeared in a flash of green light, flying above Wing of Night’s D-Wheel. It seemed to have a face that looked quite evil on its chest. It flapped its wings and let out a hideous shriek. [[u]2600[/u]/2100/LV8]
“I know why you left Plaguespreader in attack mode… You didn’t have anything to Synchro for, but you hoped I’d summon something in attack mode to wipe it out and deal some damage to you, so you could then Summon it back with its effect next turn, use Clausolas to take out my monster, and deal the rest of the damage via Plaguespreader…
“But I bet you didn’t expect [i]this[/i], did ya? Dark End Dragon, attack Plaguespreader Zombie with Dark Fog! The plan you formulated to take me down will now backfire and result in you coming closer to your defeat!”
Dark End Dragon breathed a cloud of dark smoke that engulfed the rotting Tuner causing its destruction and spreading its stench across the duel field.
“Ugh… Why would you even [i]use [/i]that? Do you plan to wipe your opponents out with the agony of having that smell next to them?
“I activate Dark End Dragon’s effect. By taking 500 off each of its scores, it wipes out a monster on your side of the field. Dark Evaporation!”
Dark End Dragon breathed some more smoke, which engulfed the large bird, who screeched a bit before shattering. [[u]2100[/u]/1600/LV8]
“Let’s see if you can recover from [i]that![/i]"

Ushio turned around, and energy beams shot from his headlights at the dragon, destroying it.
“Now Plaguespreader attacks directly.”
Plaguespreader Zombie didn’t even move. It just let its stench reach Wing of Night’s nose again.

This new humanoid bird had blue hair, a long beak, somewhat like a woodpecker’s, and his clothing actually covered his full body. [[u]1600[/u]/1000/LV4]
“Attack his rotten pest!”
Zephyros thrust its wings forward, sending a powerful blast of air to destroy the zombie. The creature moaned like a typical undead creature, then shattered.

Ushio picked up the Clausolas card, which was now a dead draw. “Pass…”
Wing of Night drew. “I doubt that’s a Battle fader in your hand, but just in case, I remove my four Speed Counters in order to deal 800 damage to you for each Speed Spell in my hand. The card I just drew was [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_Spell_-_Vision_Wind"]Speed Spell – Vision Wind[/url]. You lose.”
The red and black beams shot at Ushio’s D-Wheel again, causing him to fall off as it came to a halt.

“I didn’t hit him too hard, he might live. Then again, if an ambulance doesn’t come soon… heh…” chuckled Wing of Night as he drove off.

Back at headquarters, Wing of Night provided the proper identification and entered the room of the Master.
The voice of the Master sounded through the room. “I trust you have completed your task?”
“Yes, Master, I have. However, on the way back, I was forced into a Duel with a member of the Neo Domino Police. It was Ushio, the one acquainted with Yusei Fudo, so I thought dealing with him could prove useful.”
“Good job, Wing of Night.”
“One more thing, sir… He talked about Crow Hogan as if he were good…”
“Most people do not share your views on him. Most perceive him as a hero. However your hatred towards him is justified… I hadn’t planned to ask you to do this for a while, but it seems you are ready. Go, take down your father, both for your personal revenge, and for the purpose of this organization. Defeat Crow Hogan. Go forth, Drake Hogan, and kill your father…”

While Drake prepares to fight his father, another member of the organization’s task is almost complete. This member, ranked number two in the organization, after Drake, is participating in a Pro League match that if he wins, will let him challenge Jack Atlas, the King.

Oh wow, a fan fic that uses REAL Meta decks combined with fake cards?!? That's a solid recipe for awesome. Then the second duel kinda let me down since I really dislike speed world and all its trolling shenanigans with a passion, but it's YuGiOh. The plot is loosely based on the anime canon, so I'm not expecting much realism in the form of plot devices or plot progression, but I hope you continue on with your current style. I'm also interested in seeing how exactly you'll be tieing in the XYZ. All in all, pretty good. Good luck with your fan fic.

Don't limit yourself to clear ideas just because of a stupid banlist. It's okay if you use "Goyo Guardian" in your fan-fic because of that reason: it's not supposed to adhere to real-life situations. As an example, I use "Akashic Record" in my fan-fic, and that card is an automatic +2. There are other banned cards that I use, so there is no reason that you can't, either.

It would be better if you could break your paragraphs up into spaces each. Otherwise, it gets cluttered and hard to read.

Even though you say you prefer Standing Duels to Riding Duels, I really appreciated the Riding Duel that you had in the last Chapter. I also loved the Custom Speed Spells that you used. I think my favorite is Speed Spell - The Lagging Speedster. If this were comboed well, you could easily add +4 to her hand. [i][b]EX[/b][/i]: I have 12 SPC. Play Speed Spell - Shift Down. That's +2. I now have six SPC. Stall a turn. Now I have eight SPC. Activate the effect of "Speed World 2", letting me get one more card. Now I have one SPC. The difference between me and my opponent's SPC is now 5. Activate this. +2 to hand. Since last turn, I have now gained an additional five cards. [b]Sweet [/b]strategy.

The only major complaint that I have is the way that you completely changed Trudge's (Ushio's) Deck. I remember reading a fan-fic somewhere where Akiza ended up using Dragunities or some other crap, and that was like a major WTF moment for me. It typically isn't a good idea of using a canon character and completely change their Deck. But you're thinking, "It's nineteen years after 5D's", it doesn't matter. I think it was either Kyubey's post or Pika's post on here that said "Don't change the personalities or Decks of any of the canon characters in a fan-fic."

Overall, the first two chapters were great.

I try to stick with the banlist, but there are times when I will use banned cards if the situation calls for it, or if no other card would work in that situation.

Thanks. I do like Riding Duels, but prefer writing Standing as it is much easier. But I felt the duel in Chapter 2 [i]was[/i] actually better written than Chapter 1's.

First off, Aki with Dragunities, lolwat. I wouldn't do what I did for most characters, but this is a list of the times Ushio has dueled, unless I have forgotten something.
vs. Yusei with some Security deck.
vs. Yusei again with his new Security deck.
vs. Jack with a Worm deck cause posessed.
Ad finally vs. Ghost, with an I don't know what deck becuase he got owned too fast.
Therefore, I felt that it didn't matter too much, as Ushio hardly dueled, and I hated that Special Pursuit deck anyway. Plus, I think it has been proved by Crow (twice) that Blackwings can take those down relatively easily. So I decided to use Allies, as I like them, have been wanting to showcase them in a fic, and think they're fitting monsters for a cop to use. Ally of [b]Justice[/b].

The English language is written in sentences going from left to right. When you center-align, your eyes are forced to move to a wildly different point on the page after each successive line break, which is taxing on one's vision and just looks weird. Take a look at any published novel, and I can nearly guarantee you it's either in left-align or justify. I realize it's past the point, but at least a proper explanation is required.

Sometimes it can't be helped, though. I keep posting my chapters with the title center-aligned, as in proper writing, it should be. But when I go back and look at the post, everything is now center-aligned. Then I mess around with it for ten hours trying to figure out what is wrong with it, to which I just say "Forget it, it's probably not gonna happen". And we don't have Justify on these forums, go figure.

[left][left]Ryuu Aoi was this man’s name. He was a muscular man with light brown hair. He liked to dress in black. Black shirt, black pants, long black trenchcoat. His Duel Disk was a standard model, recolored in black. Maybe he dressed like this because he belonged to a secret organization. His clothes earned him the nickname “The Funeral Dragon”, though his Deck had nothing to do with the undead or Zombie-types. And thanks to your own card, you can’t even [i]have [/i]a Light-attribute on your field. Battle! Five God Dragon attacks Caius the Shadow Monarch with Ultimate destroyer!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Each of the five heads shot out a beam of energy, colored to match the head’s respective attribute, at Caius, who tried to defend to no avail, and dissolved into grains of light.[/left][/left]

[left][left]Drake moved his D-Wheel forward and to the left, set the security systems and jumped off, attaching his Duel Disk to his arm and replacing his Speed Spells with his regular ones. He walked towards the elevators at the back.[/left][/left]

[left][left]“It is starting,” remarked the Master. “Drake will take down Crow Hogan, while Ryuu defeats Jack Atlas. Everything is playing out as I want it to.”[/left][/left]

[left][left]“The one he has to defeat… The current Duel King, JACK ATLAS!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]With those words spoken, a white D-Wheel that was shaped like a… wheel… burst out from one of the garages, landed on the track and accelerated to the starting point. Its rider was Jack Atlas, a fair skinned man with blong hair and violet eyes, wearing a white riding suit with a belt whose buckle was shaped in the form of the letter “A”.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“In order to earn the title of ‘King’, you must defeat me and my Volcanic Wheel of Fortune, and that will not happen!” declared Jack.[/left][/left]

[left][left]Drake slid the penthouse key into the elevator and it started to rise. The doors opened in a room on the top floor. Drake got out, opened the door, and walked into the penthouse.[/left][/left]
[left][left]A man walked over. He had orange hair that had stuck out all over the place when he was younger, but was now kept in order and wore an orange button down shirt under a brown jacket. It seemed impossible that he and Drake were related, but this was indeed Crow Hogan, Drake’s father.[/left][/left]

[left][left]“Drake, this was unexpected, but welcome. I had been meaning to ask you… Why would you do something like taking up the name of Wing of Night and committing crimes?”[/left][/left]

So, shorter than the previous two, I know, but this was really meant mainly to have a quick Duel to preview Ryuu’s deck, and to also set some things up for the next chapter.

Don't know when Chapter 4 will be up, as there are some other things I'd like to do first, as well as put the ideas for the rest of the story (or for the rest of the arc at the very least) down on paper (or in a Word document to be more accurate), so that I don't need to rely on storing them in my head. I somehow seem to have fallen into a pattern of writing a new chapter each week, though I'm trying to write more often and have more frequent releases.

Also, please let me know if you'd be interested in Bios/Decklists, which would most likely come at the end of the arc if I do them.

They claimed not to be criminals, but rather “Slayers of the wicked”, whatever that meant.

A male figure dressed in a black riding suit decorated with red lines and a helmet with the same design walked through the hallway.

He was known as the Wing of Night, the group’s top agent.

No one knew his identity except for himself and one other.

A computerized voice, similar to the female one used in D-Wheel systems responded. “[i]Recognized. Agent number forty-seven, rank number one, Wing of Night, you may enter.[/i]”

The door slid open and Wing of Night stepped through. As soon as he entered the room on the other side, the door swiftly closed. There was no one else in the room to be seen, but a voice could be heard. The voice of the Master, the leader of The Saviors. The only other person with the knowledge of Wing of Night’s true identity.
[i][b]Wait. So we established the Wing of Night's mysterious secret identity and name relatively seamlessly? Then what was the point of those non-sequitur expository phrases up there?![/b][/i]

“Wing of Night, I have called you here to give you your most important task yet,” spoke the Master. The voice was somewhat rough, but very deep, identifying the Master as a man.
[b][i]Unless, yanno, the Master's using a voice changer, which would be pretty much the basics of the basics if the Master wants to keep his/her/its/potato's identity somewhat secret, do things him/her/it/potatoself, check up on his/her/its/potato's employees, live a life outside the terrorist network...[/i][/b]

“You know what our purpose is. Evolution can cause destruction.

After seeing what could have happened with Synchros, he still went ahead with this, ignoring the fact that he nearly failed at stopping destruction last time.

The voice stopped, and as the lead agent grabbed the cards, the floor he was standing on began to move downwards. As he was taken down to the ground level, he read his instructions.

He pressed a few buttons to start it up and lift the door, and dashed out at high speeds.

Wing of Night pulled off the Domino Highway and onto a back street. He couldn’t use main roads, as he could easily be spotted.

Highways were a bit less dangerous as he normally wouldn’t end up stopping, so there was less chance people would get a look at him, but it was still a bit of a risk.
[i][b]They don't need to get a look at you! Your D-Wheel is the same colour! Anyone with vision good enough for driving will instantly recognize the wanted terrorist! Seriously, just take a normal one if you're out for stealth![/b][/i]

He had to go a bit out of the way of the main city to reach his destination. He rode out past the suburban areas, traveling through a bit of farmland

until he reached his destination, the Fullstorm Mansion. He pulled around back and locked his D-Wheel. He detached his Duel Disk from his D-Wheel as it was a hybrid model.

The Disk shared the same color scheme as his other possessions and was shaped in the form of a wing.

A card in his deck began to glow lightly as blue balls of fire appeared in his palms. He threw them at the guards, who screamed as they burst into flame before falling over, dead.

He summoned more fire, launching it at the door to break it down. Alarms noises started to blare as he rushed inside, running through the halls and up the many sets of stairs. On the final floor, he realized that even if he reached the room he was trying to reach, the mass of guards following him would make it so he couldn’t enter. He sent a large burst of blue fire down the stairs. While it probably killed on the front few, the burst would have knocked the other back, and possibly caused some necks to snap.
[b][i]Those mooks. Their necks practically snap themselves.[/i][/b]

Wing of Night fell to one knee. That last burst of power had drained him. However, he couldn’t stop. He pushed himself to keep going, and ran to the end of the hall, seeing two final men guarding the last door.
[i]Finally there! I’m too exhausted to use that power now, but I can deal with these two the old fashioned way.[/i]
[i][b]He'd have used guns to do this, but he vowed never to use guns since that's how his parents were killed. He was out of Blackwingrangs, too.[/b][/i]

He jumped, flying forward with a fist out that collided with the first man’s face, smashing him against the wall, then spun around, landing a kick in the other man’s groin. He then leaped back, landing on both his feet, facing the door.
“I know that’s your room, Fullstorm!” called Wing of Night.

The door slid open, and a light-skinned, blond haired man who looked to be in his late forties, dressed in black dress shoes and dress pants, a white button down shirt, a brown business-like jacket and a red tie stepped out, looking rather annoyed.
“Henry Fullstorm, president of the Fullstorm Corporation,” acknowledged Wing of Night.

“Your company is the largest supporter and funder of the Exceed project.
[i][b]Wait, what does Fullstorm Corp do? Why is it endorsing the production of a certain type of trading card? Is it a subsidiary of Industrial Illusions or what?[/b][/i]

I have received orders to kill you for that reason. If I still had energy for it left, I would just burn you to a crisp now like I did to a lot of your guards. However, right now, my energy is exhausted, and I would only be able to summon that power in one way.” He tapped his Duel Disk.

[i][b]But there's still more questions. Why doesn't he just strangle the guy or something? Goodness knows it'd be quicker. And what exactly is stopping more guards from showing up and shooting/stabbing/slashing/hurting/killing this guy mid-duel? Do Duel Disks project force fields or something? I mean, certainly, this is a valiant attempt at expaining why terrorist!Batman has to Duel in order to execute an assassination order, and it's much better than most fics, which would just kind of assume it happens and not explain anything at all, but it just raises too many questions.[/b][/i]

Blue waves of energy rippled, and from them appeared an old man, with long white hair, and a beard and mustache of the same color. He gripped a sword with two hands and his armor looked somewhat futuristic, despite the fact that he was a samurai. [b][ATK: 2100, Lv: 5][/b]
“I tune my Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki to the Tuner monster Kagemusha of the Six Samurai!”
Kageki’s body became an orange outline containing three glowing white stars, while Kagemusha changed into two green circles that surrounded Kageki, and there was a flash of green light.

Wing of Night grunted as Henry inserted a Spell card into his disk and [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mystical_Space_Typhoon"]Mystical Space Typhoon[/url] destroyed his second card in a strong gust of wind, proving it was indeed Mirror Force.

[b][i]The thing with DIVINE monsters is that they're NOT LEGAL FOR GAMEPLAY. And I'm pretty sure they're all different colours, too, so you'd be able to see them in the Deck. Even if your opponent doesn't see for themselves, surely you should at least tell your opponent they're facing a God Monster before they offer to Duel you? I'm really not sure what the rulings are on the seventh Attribute, but I'm sure you can't just pull a God monster out of nowhere like that.[/i][/b]

“You heard me. I add Elemental Destroyer – Wingslasher to my hand!”
“What card is that?”
“You’ll see,” said Wing of Night as the card popped out of his disk. “For I am about to play it!” He threw the card on to the disk causing a raging wind to pick up within the Wing Walls. When the storm died down, a large eagle-like creature was there. It was almost pure gold, with a few streaks of silver here and there. It let out a bloodcurling shriek as flapped its wings, putting a look of pure terror on Henry Fullstorm’s face. [b][ATK: 2200, Lv: 4][/b]
“Th- that’s a god?” asked Henry nervously.

“Yes, yes it is. Now while it may not look like much, it does break the two thousand point rule with no drawbacks, and it’s effect is pretty useful. And this one is actually the weakest card in the archetype from what I have heard. I also see that the sight of Wingslasher here is scaring you quite a bit. Now, I wouldn’t want you to wet those pants of yours as they were probably very expensive, although you’ll be dead soon anyway,
[b][i]And then you'll wet those pants when the rigor mortis sets in and your intestines and such contract. So actually, those pants are screwed either way. Poor tailor.[/i][/b]

If my memory of kindergarten is correct, three is less than four, so I Special Summon Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind!”

Wingslasher’s body turned into a silver outline containing four gold stars, while Gale turned into three green rings that surrounded Wingslasher. There was an explosion of gold light as Wing of Night began to chant.
“[i]I call forth the power of the dark master. Guarded by the strongest armor, claws sharpened for the best offense! Synchro Summon![/i]”

This bird humanoid was the largest yet. Its armor protected it, but didn’t cover all of its body, so its muscular figure was partially displayed. It only had one eye, a huge one, where its face should have been, but it had many on the edge of his orange and black wings. [b][ATK: 2500, Lv: 7][/b]
“I now activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Book_of_Moon"]Book of Moon[/url], flipping Kizan into Defense mode.”
The blue and gold samurai vanished and was replaced by a card backing.

“Armed Wing, attack the reversed Kizan! Black Charge!” Armed Wing rapidly fired its rifle at the Set monster. “When Armed Wing attacks a Defense position monster, it gains five hundred attack points!” [b][ATK: 2300 – 2800][/b]
The rifle shots collided with the card, causing it to shatter into little shards.
“By the way, Armed Wing inflicts Piercing damage, and since Kizan’s Defense is five hundred, well, let me just say I’d hate to be you in this position.”

After a few moments, Henry asked, “What was that?... Why was that [i]real[/i]?”
“I am just simply getting serious about this, Mr. Fullstorm. As the duel is drawing to a close, I decided it is now the time to invoke my special powers and deal real damage to you. If you have forgotten, my task [i]is [/i]to kill you.
[i][b]Wait, you can choose when to invoke your powers? Then why did you give yourself hemoptysis just now?[/b][/i]

Now, Armor Master, attack one of his Shi Ens! Black Hurricane!”
The monster dived forward and punched one of the Shi Ens.

“Now, you have a choice, Mr. Fullstorm. You could activate Shi En’s effect to negate the destruction of it by Releasing your other Shi En, but then this one would be left with a Wedge Counter. It’s not like Armor Master is going anywhere due to his ability.”
“I… don’t activate the effect.”
“Good man,” said Wing of Night as one Shi En shattered into pixels. “I’ll end my turn there.”
Henry drew silently, setting one card face-down in his Spell and Trap Zone. “Shi En… take out Armed Wing.”
The remaining Shi En quickly cut Armed Wing in half, eager to avenge his companion. [b][Wing of Night: 2400 – 2200LP][/b]
“H- how come [i]you[/i] didn’t feel anything…?”
“Stupid old fool. You really think I’d make it so I get hit with real damage like you?” Wing of Night began to laugh.

A black hole opened up under the field, sucking all the monsters into the vortex.

[b][i]Again, I know this probably isn't your fault, but a mere punch should never be named after a hurricane, no matter how impressive it is.[/i][/b]

“Of course I can,” snapped Henry as he drew weakly.

For the third time, Kageki’s body became an orange outline containing three glowing white stars as Kagemusha changed into two green circles that surrounded Kageki causing a flash of green light once again.

No doubt this is in part because I don't play Yu-Gi-Oh! and thus couldn't spot gameplay errors even if I tried, but to a non-player and ex-watcher of Yu-Gi-Oh!, these segments are A-OK. (Unless I missed some stuff, in which case I suck.)[/i][/b]

“I set one back row and pass it over to you.”
“I draw!” Wing of Night glanced at the card. “I activate Mystical Space Typhoon!” The gust of wind struck the face-down, revealing it to be [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Cylinder"]Magic Cylinder[/url] before it shattered. “Black Hurricane.”
Armor Master rushed foreward, smashing his fist into Shi En, causing him to explode and shatter into millions of pieces.
“Take your last turn, old man.”
Henry drew, placed a defensive monster face-down and nodded weakly to signal the end of his turn.
Wing of Night drew, and activated the card. The coffin of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Burial_from_a_Different_Dimension"]Burial from a Different Dimension[/url] appeared. He took Vayu and Sirocco out of his pocket, returned them to his Graveyard, then pocketed them again to repeat Vayu’s effect.
“If you’ll repeat your old tricks, then I’ll repeat mine. I’ll summon my second…”

“Blackwing Armed Wing! Black Charge!” The new Armed Wing fired multiple shots from its rifle at the Set monster [b][ATK: 2300 – 2800][/b], revealing it to be a third Kizan before breaking through it and ripping through Henry Fullstorm, causing him to fall to the floor, barely breathing. [b][Henry Fullstorm: 3100 – 800LP][/b]
“I suppose you placed Kizan in Defense mode even though its ATK is higher because you didn’t want any pain from the Life Point damage, is that right? It seems you just got [i]more[/i] this way. Look at you, you’re barely alive. Any last words before I kill you?”
“Yeah, I have a few,” gasped Henry. “You can tell your boss this is all futile. No matter what, the Exceed project will be finished, whether I’m funding it or not. You all are idiots.”

If Wing of Night is going to be our protagonist, he should probably show a little remorse for all the lives he just took![/i][/b][b][i] Not to mention that this terse description is abysmal even compared to the rest of this fic! The description during the Duel was pretty darn good -- this looks like it'd be in a story written by a ten-year-old, or a Pretty Cure fanseries, or a story that fit both descriptions! This is the second most facepalm-inducing line in the chapter. (See if you can spot the first. Hint: it involves evil laughter.)[/i][/b]

[/spoiler]Yeah, I have certain problems with the vaguely religious terrorist whose cause is inspired by a complete misunderstanding of basic phenomena like evolution and Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon being the protagonist. It's actually rather well-written, and I don't think I gave you enough credit for that in the line-by-line thing, but the plot obviously has issues and the protagonist is Crazy Steve* with a Duel Disk. Oh, and plot holes up the wazoo. It's far more readable than most fics on this forum, and I'm even curious as to what happens next, which is a rare thing. But please tell me Crazy Steve gets his comeuppance and/or redemption, and soon.[spoiler=Rating]Grammar: 9 [i]It missed one or two problems, but on the whole, it's fine.[/i]
Plot: 4 [i]Plot holes, plot holes, plot holes. But at least you tried, which is more than I can say for most stuff in this section.[/i]
Characters: 3 [i]The main character is Crazy Steve. This is gonna be fun. Fullstorm was witty, though.[/i]
Effort: 8 [i]Except for the end, I never got the feeling that you were being lazy. You even put in some special effort in some places, like trying to justify the Duel.[/i]
Readability: 8 [i]I managed to read the whole thing in two chunks, and I wouldn't have left if I didn't have to email myself something from another computer, and as aforementioned, I actually want to see what happens next. It's not exactly Dead Zone or Worlds Apart, but it's worlds apart from most of the crap in this section. Thanks for writing something I actually didn't mind reading.[/i]

I mentioned it in the information section, but I'll say it again. I use the term Exceed as I prefer it to Xyz, therefore I go with the fan mistranslation. I must say, I didn't really expect much from reviews of chapter one as I personally think it wasn't too good.

As for Divine-attributes, I'm using a custom-created archetype of them in this fic. There are effect versions of Obelisk and Ra that are apparently legal to play, though.

Three vertical card backings appeared in front of Crow.

The creature that had been played by Crow just a few moments ago appeared on Drake’s side of the field.
“Now, when I control another Blackwing, I’m allowed to summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Gale_the_Whirlwind"]Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind[/url], from my hand!”

“Should have saved that for what comes next… I tune my Level four Blackwing – Bora the Spear to my Level three Tuner monster, Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind…”

“Battle! Armor Master attacks Black-Winged Dragon! Black Hurricane!
The warrior rushed forward, only to be stopped by a raging storm. He tried to fight it, but was eventually blown back.
“What was [i]that[/i]?” demanded Drake.
“A trap known as [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Wing"]Black Wing[/url]. I remove a Blackwing from my Graveyard in order to negate the attack of an opposing monster with two thousand or more attack points. So I just got rid of Kochi.”
“I end my turn, then!”
The aura surrounding the mighty dragon vanished as its attack points rose back up to 2800.
“It’s my turn!” declared Crow. “Draw!” [i]My second Chalice… I can get this done faster than planned, then.[/i]
He picked up the other card in his hand and placed it on his monster zone.
“I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Vayu_the_Emblem_of_Honor"]Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor[/url]!”
A small, white bird, covered in what seemed to be a black coat appeared. ([u]800[/u]/0/1)
“Why him? Everyone knows he’s better off in the Graveyard…” commented Drake.
“Exactly. So I think I’ll send him there,” replied Crow. “Reverse card, open. [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Destruction_Ring"]Destruction Ring[/url].”
A ring appeared, tightening itself around Vayu.
“Now my monster goes boom, and we each take one thousand points of damage."
The ring exploded along with Vayu, and two red streams of light shot out, one in either player’s direction. The one going for Drake hit him, but the one heading for Crow was stopped by his dragon.
“Black-winged Dragon’s monster effect. When I would take effect damage, I put a Black Feather Counter on this card instead. Damage Drain!”
Some of the dragon’s feathers turned pure black. ([u]2100[/u]/1600/
“Black-Winged Dragon loses seven hundred ATK per counter. But, we’ll address that matter soon. The most important thing right now is this!”
He placed the Forbidden Chalice card in his Disk, and Armor Master began to glow with power. ([u]2900[/u]/1500/7)
“So you can destroy him in battle this turn, so what? Your monster’s ATK is eight hundred points short – WAIT!”
“It seems you remembered Black-Winged Dragon’s [i]other [/i]effect. Once per turn, I remove all the counters on this card, in order to reduce one of your monster’s ATK by seven hundred per counter, and deal that damage to you as well! Black Burst!”
Black-Winged Dragon charged a ball of dark energy in its mouth, and let it loose at Armor Master. ([u]2200[/u]/1500/7)
The pure blackness of the few feathers that had turned that color left the feathers of the dragon, and shot out in the form of an energy beam at Drake, knocking him down.
“That’s not enough to take me down!” yelled Drake as he leapt back up.
“Really? Black-Winged Dragon, attack Armor Master. Let’s see what [i]he[/i] thinks. Noble Stream!”
The dragon let loose a giant stream of red and black fire which engulfed both Armor Master and Drake. When the attack died down, there was no monster to be seen, just a panting Duelist.
“Turn end.”
“Yeah, that’s right,” said Drake. “Attack your son like this, I know you don’t care about what happens to me. You proved you don’t care about family five years ago!”[/center][/center]

[i]“Battle!” yelled Crow. “Black-Winged Dragon attacks the opposing player directly! Noble Stream!”[/i]

“Now I’ll show you a real dragon! I’m tuning my Level four Blackwing – Bora the Spear and my Level two Blackwing – Gust the Backblast to my Level two Tuner monster, Blackwing – Blizzard the Far North!”
Blizzard turned into two green rings that circled Shura and Gust, who proceeded to turn into six glowing white stars.
“[i]Descend from the darkness… The aspect that can be considered both just and evil, destroy those that oppose my goals…[/i] [i]Synchro Summon! Descend! [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_End_Dragon"]Dark End Dragon[/url]![/i]”
The large dragon descended in front of Drake, growling. ([u]2600[/u]/2100/
“Dark End’s monster effect. I drop his scores by five hundred apiece to destroy a monster on your field! Dark Evaporation, wipe out his Black-Winged Dragon!”
Dark End Dragon exhaled black smoke that enveloped Black-Winged Dragon, causing it to groan before shattering into golden shards. ([u]2100[/u]/1600/
“Dark End Dragon attacks directly with Dark Fog!"
Dark End exhaled more smoke, this breath seeming more powerful than the last at Crow.
“Can’t… breathe…” he choked as the smoke surrounded him.
“It’s real smoke. What do you expect? I set a card, and that’s all for my turn.”
The backing appeared in front of Drake.[/center][/center]

The smoke cleared and Crow began to gasp. "My turn… Draw…”
He placed the card in his Disk.

He made two draws, flipping the first card around. [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Reborn"]Monster Reborn[/url].
[i]Yes! [/i]thought Drake. [i]If he uses that to revive Black-Winged Dragon, I can counter with my [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Solemn_Judgment"]Solemn Judgement[/url].[/i]
Crow then flipped the other one around.
“M- [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mystical_Space_Typhoon"]Mystical Space Typhoon[/url]!”
“Yep,” said Crow, playing it.
A giant blast of wind hit the reversed card, destroying it.
“Solemn Judgment? Glad I drew that. Now, I activate Monster Reborn, using its effect to resurrect Black-Winged Dragon.”
The large dragon appeared in the sky again, roaring at Dark End in anger.
“Black-Winged Dragon attacks Dark End Dragon! Noble stream!”
“Dark Fog!” yelled Drake.
The two dragons let out their attacks, which collided. Both struggled, but eventually Black-Winged Dragon’s flame won out, pushing forward and destroying its opponent.
“Turn end.”[/center][/center]
[center][center][b][Drake: 5000LP] [Crow: 5900LP][/b]
“My turn, draw!” He placed his new card in his Disk. “[url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spellbook_Inside_the_Pot"]Spellbook Inside the Pot[/url] lets us each draw three cards!”
They did so, their faces not betraying whether it had been a good thing or not.
“I summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Fane_the_Steel_Chain"]Blackwing – Fane the Steel Chain[/url]!”
A small bird dressed like a ninja appeared in front of Drake. ([u]500[/u]/800/2)
“I now activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Foolish_Burial"]Foolish Burial[/url], sending [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Sirocco_the_Dawn"]Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn[/url] from my Deck to the Graveyard.”
A card popped out of Drake’s deck. He took it and placed it in his discard slot.
“Now, I activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Reincarnation"]Monster Reincarnation[/url], discarding a card in my hand to retrieve Gale.”
He smirked.
“Any reason your face is like that?” asked Crow.
“Yes. You see, the card I discarded was Vayu. So, I’ll banish it, along with my Sirocco…”
The two monsters rose out of the Disk and into the air, turning into six glowing stars.
“[i]It takes a perfect shot to claim victory. I call forth the winged marksman! Synchro Summon! Fire, [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_Armed_Wing"]Blackwing Armed Wing[/url]![/i]”
The red-haired, rifle wielding Blackwing Synchro appeared, aiming his weapon at Crow’s side of the field. ([u]2300[/u]/1000/6)
“When I control another Blackwing, Gale the Whirlwind can be Special Summoned from the hand! Appear now!”
He threw the recovered card on the Disk and the small bird reappeared.
“Gale’s effect cuts your monster’s scores in half!”
Gale began to stir up a powerful wind with his wings, and hurled it at Black-Winged Dragon. ([u]1400[/u]/800/
“Fane the Steel Chain’s effect lets it perform a direct attack, even if you have monsters. Do it, Fane!”
The small bird rose higher into the air, but Crow placed a monster card sideways on his Disk, and the bird was confronted by a demonic pendulum with bat like wings, a bell attached to one. (0/[u]0[/u])
“Crap…”
“[url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_Fader"]Battle Fader[/url] can be Special Summoned from the hand when the opponent declares a direct attack and brings the Battle Phase to a close. This is why Spellbook Inside the Pot is a double edged sword…”
The bell on Battle Fader’s wing began to ring, the sound waves pushing Fane back.
“Fine, then. Turn end.”
“Draw,” said Crow. He smiled when he saw what it was. “I know what you were trying to do. When Fane the Steel Chain successfully damages the opponent via a direct attack, it can switch one of the opposing player’s monsters into Defense Position. If Armed Wing could use his effect, you could have attacked and dealt two thousand points of damage in one blow. But since you couldn’t, you were planning to defeat my dragon with Gale and then attack directly with Armed Wing.”
“Good job, Dad. You figured it out. Now, how exactly does that [i]matter[/i]?”
“It matters, because if you had pulled it off, you likely would have won. Now, you won’t. I summon Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind.”
Crow’s copy of the green-haired blackbird appeared, staring down Drake’s Gale, who glared back.
“I now activate two Equip Spells from my hand.”
“What? You never used to use those!”
“These are actually only in here to aid me in Synchro Summoning. Both cards are known as [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Demotion"]Demotion[/url], and they lower the level of the equipped monster by two. And I’ll place them on Black-Winged Dragon.” ([u]1400[/u]/800/4)
“Lowering its level to match its stats?” asked Drake, chuckling.
“Laugh while you can. I’m tuning my now Level four Black-Winged Dragon to my Level three Tuner monster, Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind!”
Gale turned into three green rings that circled the central part of the dragon, turning him into four white stars as Crow began to chant.
“[i]Darkened gales, become the wings which will soar to heaven! Synchro Summon! Blackwing Armor Master![/i]”
In a flash of green light, the large Winged-Beast that Drake had played earlier descended from the sky, stopping a bit above the ground in front of Crow.
“Battle! Armor Master attacks Fane with Black hurricane!”
Armor Master leapt up and headed towards the smaller bird, who tried to dodge to no avail. Armor Master threw a punch at it, and Fane shattered on contact.
“Turn end.”[/center][/center]

“Draw,” said Drake softly. “I activate Akashic Record, drawing two cards.” He flipped them around to reveal [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Pot_of_Avarice"]Pot of Avarice[/url] and Tuner-Synchro Relationship.
“Neither has been used, so I keep them. I now activate Tuner-Synchro Relationship. I send all Tuners on my field to the Graveyard, and all the Synchro monsters on my field gain a level for each sent Tuner.”
Gale turned into a stream of green and black energy which was absorbed by Armed Wing, who began to glow with a faint aura. ([u]2300[/u]/1000/7)
“I’ll now activate Pot of Avarice, returning five monsters in my Graveyard to the Deck…”
He took out Gale, Bora, Gust, Blizzard and Dark End from his discard slot, placing the last one into the Extra Deck, and the first four into his Main deck.
“Now I can draw two cards.”
The Disk auto-shuffled the Deck, and Drake picked up the top two.
“I now Normal Summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Jin_the_Rain_Shadow"]Blackwing – Jin the Rain Shadow[/url]!”
The smallest Blackwing yet, this one purple-feathered appeared, holding a tiny sword. ([u]600[/u]/500/1)
“The effect of Blackwing – Bora the Spear activates, allowing me to Special Summon him when I control another Blackwing!”
The Winged-Beast with a lance that had been used many times in the duel already appeared.
“I think I’ll bring out my old friend once again!. I’m Tuning my now Level seven Blackwing Armed Wing to my Level one Tuner monster, Blackwing – Jin the Rain Shadow…”
There was a flash of green light as Drake repeated a chant. “[i]Descend from the darkness… The aspect that can be considered both just and evil, destroy those that oppose my goals…[/i] [i]Synchro Summon! Descend! Dark End Dragon![/i]”
Drake’s giant dragon appeared in the sky and glided down to rest next to him.
“Dark End Dragon’s effect! I shave five hundred off its scores to destroy a monster on your side! Go destroy Armor Master! Dark evaporation!”
Dark End Dragon let out some smoke that enveloped Armor Master and destroyed it, causing it to shatter into millions of pixels. ([u]2100[/u]/1600/
“Battle! Bora the Spear attacks Battle Fader! I’ll have you take its Piercing damage and feel pain run through your body, just like how I felt on the night they died!”[/center][/center]

[i]Two people lay in hospital beds. One was a black-haired woman, the other a boy who looked like Drake, except younger and with orange hair instead of black. Drake watched from outside a window, weeping. The two on the beds were dying…[/i]

[i]He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around, clearing some tears away so he could see. The person he did see, however, didn’t make him feel any better or give any comfort. It was Crow.[/i]
[i]Drake glared at his father, especially when he noticed he was wearing a riding suit.[/i]
[i]“You were Dueling?”[/i]
[i]“Drake, the hospital called the team, and they told me to go to the Pit and head here. If I had known this would have happened today, I wouldn’t have gone in the first place!”[/i]
[i]“I don’t care! They got sick weeks ago, yet you chose that time to go rejoin Ride Ace! You knew it was lethal and had no known cure, you knew that unless a miracle happened, they’d die soon. Yet, what do you do? You go and play a card game to entertain people!”[/i]
[i]Crow could do nothing but look on as his son continued yelling.[/i]
[i]“You own a company! You could have funded research into this disease or something!”[/i]
[i]“I did…”[/i]
[i]“You obviously didn’t give enough money, then!”[/i]
[i]“Drake…”[/i]
[i]“At the very least, you could have been here for them. For me, too. Do you know how hard it’s been, sitting here all day and watching them suffer? I can’t even go in and be with them because the disease is contagious…”[/i]

Bora flew forward, driving his lance through Battle Fader, causing it to explode. It kept going however, and slammed the lance into Crow, knocking him down.
“A few minutes later, they both passed away. I was so upset that I cried nonstop for quite some time. But tonight, it’ll be different. Tonight, you’ll die, and I won’t feel upset about it at all! Dark End Dragon, attack directly with Dark fog!”
Dark End Dragon exhaled more smoke, which struck Crow, who yelled in pain.
“Turn end.”[/center][/center]

Crow made no motion to get back up.
“Come on, old man. I didn’t hit you that badly. I’m not going to deliver a lethal blow until the end.”
There was no response.
“I guess I’ll take that as a pass then, so it’s my-“
“Not so fast,” murmured Crow as he struggled to his feet. “It’s [i]my [/i]turn. Draw!”
He placed the card in his Disk.
“I activate [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_World_Dealings"]Dark World Dealings[/url]! Now we each draw a card, then discard a card.”
“So we basically send our top card to the Grave,” said Drake.
[i]Yeah, [/i]thought Crow, [i]but if I get the right card with this…[/i]
They took their top cards, glanced at them, and slipped them into their discard slots.
“The card I discarded was a second Black Wing! Now by banishing it and the other Black Wing in my Graveyard…”
Both cards slipped out of the discard slot and Crow pocketed them.
“I destroy a monster on your field and inflict damage equal to its ATK!”
A blast of feathers shot out from seemingly nowhere, striking Dark End Dragon, destroying it and continuing on to blast Drake, knocking him back and onto his behind.
He stood up, groaning.
“I activate the effect of Vayu in my Grave, banishing him and Armor Master…”
There was a flash of red light as the two monsters emerged from the Duel Disk and flew into the sky, vanishing.
“[i]Gust fiercely, storm! Gain the will of steel and the speed of light to sublime your form! Synchro Summon! [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Silverwind_the_Ascendant"]Blackwing – Silverwind the Ascendant[/url]! [/i]“
A new humanoid bird descended, this one resembling a chevalier, with long flowing black hair, swinging his sword. ([u]2800[/u]/2000/
“This is the end, and it ends in your defeat,” said Crow. “Silverwind attacks Bora!”
The Winged-Beast dashed forward, ready to strike, only to be stopped by a wall of dark energy.
“What was that?” asked Crow.
“[url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Necro_Gardna"]Necro Gardna[/url] can negate an attack by banishing it from the Grave. Guess how it got there?”
“My Dark World Dealings…”
“Yep, this time [i]your[/i] card helped [i]me[/i].”
“In that case, I end my turn.”[/center][/center]

The monster moaned and dissolved into golden light.
“Battle! Bora attacks you directly!”
The monster dashed forward, striking Crow with his lance.

“It’s my turn,” said Crow. “I draw.”
He placed the card he had just drawn in his Spell and Trap zone, and a vertical card backing appeared in front of him.
“I’m done with my turn.”
“Your turn?” asked Drake when he drew. “No, you’re done with this duel… and life!”
He placed the card in his Disk.
“Penalty Wing. I declare either Spells or Traps. Now, until the End Phase, any player who activates that type of card must pay six hundred Life Points in order to do so. So you won’t be springing any Traps on me!
“Battle! Bora attacks directly!”
Bora rushed forward as Crow’s face-down card lifted up.
“You don’t have the six hundred you need to pay for that Trap!”
“I never said it was a Trap, did I?”
Drake gasped as he saw the green border of a Spell card.
“Recharger Launcher selects a monster on your side of the field, causing me to regain Life Points equal to either its ATK or DEF, whichever is higher, and deals damage to you equal to its ATK or DEF, whichever is lower.”
Crow began to glow with a gold aura, healing his Life Points, while Drake took on a red aura, inflicting the damage.
“My attack still connects!”
Bora slammed his lance into Crow again.
“Yes, but now, I’ll be able to take it. Not to mention, I could end up winning now, as you only have 100 Life Points left.”
“Whatever. Turn end.”[/center][/center]

Crow drew, placing the card in face-down Defense Position.
“That’s all?” asked Drake as he drew. “In that case, Bora the Spear attacks your reversed monster!”

“Sorry, son. Mistral has one hundred more Defense points than Bora has Attack. It’s over."
“Yeah, for you. I discard [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Blackwing_-_Kalut_the_Moon_Shadow"]Blackwing – Kalut the Moon Shadow[/url] from my hand, in order to activate its effect. A battling Blackwing gains fourteen hundred Attack points! Lunar force!”
A giant moon rose up behind Bora, who began to glow with power. ([u]3100[/u]/800/4) He smashed his lance into Mistral, causing it to shatter, destroyed.
“Bora inflicts Piercing damage!”
Bora dove in for another attack, this time aiming for Crow.
“There’s something you should know,” said Crow. “The only reason I did those Duels while our family was sick, is because your mother wanted me to…”
“What? Don’t – don’t lie to me! BORA!”
Bora sped up, and was very close to Crow. Just as he swung his lance, Crow pressed a button on his Duel Disk, unnoticed by Drake.
The lance made contact, and Crow fell to the floor.[/center][/center]

Drake headed back to the elevator, which took him back down to the garage. He walked out and over to his D-Wheel, exchanging his Ground Deck for his Riding Deck. He attached his D-Wheel and rode to the gate, which opened. He left the building, and headed back on to the highway.

Then, afterwards, a single duplicate copy of each card was made with altered effects, the Red-Eyes given to Jonouchi Katsuya and the other to Seto Kaiba, however, they rarely used them, as even replicas can contain dangerous power, as attempts at copying the Winged Dragon of Ra have shown…”[/left][/left]

[left][left]“Now, I can Release up to two cards on my field, and for each one, Trident here gains an extra attack! I think I’ll get rid of White Night here, as he was rendered pretty much useless thanks to your little puppy dog.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]White Night turned into red energy, which was absorbed by the large dragon, which let out a bloodcurdling roar.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Red-Eyes, dispatch his pathetic excuse for a dragon with Darkness Metal Flare!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The black dragon shot a black fireball from its mouth, which hit Vice Dragon, who shattered on contact.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Trident Dragion still has two attacks left! Attack Mister Atlas directly with a double helping of Sea of volt flames!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Trident Dragion spewed flames, which covered the track in lava that sparked electricity. Suddenly, a wave of fire rose up, slamming into Jack and causing his D-Wheel to spin. Before he could recover, a second wave rose up and slammed into him. The lava disappeared, while Jack was gasping for air, injured and bruised.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Want to give up, Jack?” cackled Ryuu. “It’ll save you some pain!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“No way I’ll do that! A King never concedes!”[/left][/left]

[left][left]Another Fiend appeared from a portal, similar to the first, however, instead of a chain, this one had a clock behind it. (1200/[u]600[/u]/3)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Trap card, open, Descending Lost Star! This will revive a Synchro Monster sleeping in my Graveyard in Defense mode with its effect negated, its Defense reduced to zero, it’s level reduced by one, and this monster will be unable to switch battle modes. Why do this? Maybe I just want to see my old pal Seirios again!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The Wolf King reappeared, shielding himself with his arms. (2400/[u]1500 – 0[/u]/6 – 5)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“But that obviously isn’t it… The true purpose was this! I’ll tune my now level five Heavenly Wolf King Blue Seirios to my Level three Tuner monster, Clock Resonator!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Clock Resonator and Seirios rose into the sky, the former becoming three green rings that encircled the latter, who was reduced to five stars.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“[i]The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend!” [/i]chanted Jack as there was a burst of fire and green light, out of which a new creature appeared.[/left][/left]
[left][left]A giant, demonic red and black horned dragon, lashing its tail and breathing wisps of smoke. ([u]3000[/u]/2000/[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Even if you go for a mutual kill with Trident Dragion, you’ll be wide open next round for Red-Eyes’ direct attack. If you were smart, you’d have called out Flare Resonator instead of Clock Resonator.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“If I wasn’t going to get rid of my Dragon in the next few seconds, I would have. But seeing as how I am going to, I don’t see why it needs an attack boost, do you?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“What do you mean?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Jack flipped his last card around. “When I control a Level eight or higher Synchro Monster, Creation Resonator can be Special Summoned from the hand!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]He placed the card on his Disk and another small fiend appeared, this one with a winged fan attached to its back. ([u]800[/u]/600/3)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Now, you’ve brought out a few good dragons, but the one I’m bringing out is the [i]best[/i]. I’m Double Tuning my Level eight Red Dragon Archfiend to my Level three Tuner monster, Creation Resonator and my Level one Tuner monster, Chain Resonator!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The three rose into the air, the two Tuners changing into rings of fire which wrapped themselves around the dragon as Jack began to chant once more.[/left][/left]
[left][left][i]"The king and the devil, here and now, shall become as one. A raging spirit! Lift up the very cries of creation itself! Synchro Summon! Come forth, Red Nova Dragon!"[/i][/left][/left]
[left][left]The three monsters in the air exploded into flames, and out of those flames, a larger, more demonic looking version of the Red Dragon Archfiend descended. It had spikes running down its back, a crystal on its chest, and its body was outlined in red energy. ([u]3500[/u]/3000/12)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“No way…” muttered Ryuu.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Red Nova Dragon’s ability! It gains five hundred points for each Tuner in my Grave. I count four, so that’s an extra two thousand!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The spirits of Hyde Ride and the three Resonators appeared for a moment behind Red Nova, causing him to gain power. ([u]3500 – 5500[/u]/3000/12)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Red Nova Dragon, attack Trident Dragion! Burning soul!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Red Nova Dragon engulfed itself in flames and dove at the gigantic creature, which spewed flames in defense. However, Red Nova dodged them with ease, striking the massive creature, and destroying it in a large explosion of flames.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“But why let Red Nova Dragon have all the action? I activate the Trap Synchro Out, returning Red Nova Dragon to my Extra Deck to bring out his Synchro materials!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Red Nova Dragon separated into three streams of red light, which turned into Red Dragon Archfiend and the two Resonators.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Red Dragon Archfiend, clear the way for the Resonators with Absolute Power Force!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The demonic dragon flew up and its clawed hand became surrounded by fire. He slammed his flaming palm into the chest of Red-Eyes, which screeched in pain before shattering.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Now my Resonators are free to attack directly!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Creaton Resonator’s fan blew a gust of wind and Chain Resonator swung its chain forward.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“That’s it?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Nope. You see, during the End Phase, the monsters Summoned by Synchro Out are destroyed. So to avoid that… I’ll Double Tune my Red Dragon Archfiend to my Resonators again - [i]The king and the devil, here and now, shall become as one. A raging spirit! Lift up the very cries of creation itself! Synchro Summon! Come forth, Red Nova Dragon![/i]”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The monsters flew up into the air and exploded in flame once again and Red Nova Dragon dove down.[/left][/left]

[left][left]“My turn!” declared Ryuu as he picked up a card. “First off, I activate the effect of Speed World 2 and remove four Speed Counters in order to inflict eight hundred points for every Speed Spell I hold. I currently have one, The End of Storm.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Black energy shot out of the headlights of Ryuu’s D-Wheel, striking the back of Jack’s.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Next, I summon Exploder Dragon!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]A small blue dragon holding a bomb in its hands appeared. ([u]1000[/u]/0/3)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Attack with Dynamite Crush!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The dragon dropped its bomb, and smoke shrouded the two beasts from view.[/left][/left]
[left][left]Jack laughed. “What was that? You just inflicted forty-five hundred points of damage on yourself!”[/left][/left]

[left][left]“Did I mention that I take no battle damage when Exploder Dragon attacks?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Oh, you saved your Life Points, how nice. But your Dragon is still destroyed!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The smoke cleared, and Exploder Dragon was indeed gone. However, so was Red Nova Dragon.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“What happened to my dragon?” demanded Jack.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“When Exploder Dragon bites the dust, so does the monster that took it down. Sorry, but it’s how it works.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Are you quite done?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Yes, I am. Go ahead and make your last pathetic move.”[/left][/left]

[left][left]Jack picked up two cards and grinned when he saw them. [i]I was right.[/i][/left][/left]

[left][left]“When it’s sent to the Graveyard, and I have more Speed Counters than you, you take three hundred points of damage for each one! Right now, I’m ahead by four…”[/left][/left]
[left][left]A pillar of fire erupted under Ryuu’s D-Wheel and he screamed.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Jack Atlas, you…” Ryuu started. He then noticed his Speed Counters had decreased. “What happened?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“I guess you didn’t know that Outsped also incorporates the effect of the original Speed World. For every thousand points of damage you take from this card’s effect, you lose a Speed Counter. Then I gain two hundred Life Points per Counter lost.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“I now activate the Speed Spell – The Lagging Speedster. The difference in our Speed Counters is now five, so I can draw two cards. Now I discard Dark Resonator to Special Summon Power Giant from my hand.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]A giant multicolored crystal creature appeared, thrusting its fist forward. ([u]2200[/u]/0/6)[/left][/left]

[left][left]The giant moved towards Ryuu’s D-Wheel and slammed his fist into it, causing it to spin out of control for a moment.[/left][/left]

[left][left]A giant dragon rose up behind Ryuu’s D-Wheel. It was black, horned, with spikes all over its body, fangs clearly visible, with twin spiked tails and streaks of blood over its body. (2700/2100/6)[/left][/left]
[left][left]“That thing is Level six! How did you summon it?”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Jack, your Power Giant is Level six, but you summoned it via its ability. Likewise with Deathwyrm. He can be Special Summoned from the hand by banishing a Dragon from my hand and Grave. Now, when Deathwyrm attacks, his powers as a god awaken. First, he gains attack points equal to half the defense points of the targeted monster, plus one thousand. Attack with Blood Hell Flame!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]The dragon spewed dark red fire from its mouth ([u]2700 – 3700[/u]/2100/6), which made contact with Power Giant. However, instead of shattering, it seemed the giant melted.[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Too bad Power Giant has no defense points, so I was able to take that with some points remaining.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Too bad my Deathwyrm has another ability. When it destroys a monster, you take one hundred points of damage for each level it has.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“That doesn’t matter. Power Giant’s level is three, so I’ll hang on with two hundred points.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]“Normally, that would be the case,” agreed Ryuu. “However, my monster calculates with original levels, so in Power Giant’s case, that’s six. Goodbye, Jack Atlas.”[/left][/left]
[left][left]A faint crimson glow seemed to surround Jack for a moment as the dragon let out more flames as some people in the audience began to run out in fear. The fire hit Jack’s D-Wheel. There was an explosion, and then a crash. Jack was lying next to his fallen D-Wheel, heavily bleeding.[/left][/left]

[left][left]“And it’s over!” declared the MC. “Ryuu Aoi has taken the title of King from Jack Atlas. And speaking of Jack… Someone call him an ambulance!”[/left][/left]
[left][left]Ryuu walked over to Jack, and picked the top card off of his deck and stared in horror when he saw what it was. “Call of the Haunted… If he had drawn this last turn...”[/left][/left]

It was like déjà vu. Drake had just had a brutal duel, and was now leaving on the highway. Once again, he was stopped. However, this time, it wasn’t Security. It was a red D-Wheel, its rider a black haired man wearing a white shirt and a dark blue jacket. A jagged yellow criminal marker could be seen below his left eye.
“What do you want, Yusei?” asked Drake.
“Crow thought he might be targeted, especially as he suspected you were this ‘Wing of Night’ person. Therefore, before he lost, he pressed a button on his Disk that he set up, which alerted me. He may not have been able to stop you, but I will. I’ll also show you the power of the Exceed monsters.”
“You mean…”
“Yes. The first Exceed prototype has been created. Your efforts have failed. I’ll show you their power, and that they aren’t evil beings. Let’s go!”[/center]
