I've fallen in love with Gem-Knights over the past few days. I'm still not sure why a "Gem-Knight Diamond" hasn't been made yet.

Because Konami is [s]retarded[/s] not listening to what is needed in the game. This card is great though; Perfect for Gem-Knights. So the card is designed to stop single destruction or can it stop mass destruction as well?

Agreed, and it can stop mass-destruction as long as a Normal "Gem-Knight" is one of the victims.
