Icy
Unseen Ninjas Continuous Spell - "Ninja" monsters can be Flip Summoned into Defense Position. "Ninja" Monsters you control can attack while in DEF position. When a "Ninja" monster you control attacks a monster with greater ATK than it, you can select 1 "Ninja" monster in your graveyard and increase the ATK of the attacking "Ninja" monster by the ATK of the selected monster. You cannot use the selected monster in your Graveyard until the End Phase. Mist Ninja Warrior/Effect/WATER/Level 3 1500/2100 - When this card is flipped face-up, increase the DEF of this card by 900 (before damage calculation). Earthquake Ninja Warrior/Effect/EARTH/Level 3 1400/2000 - When this card is flipped face-up, destroy 1 card on the field. Afterwards when this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Ninja" monster in your Graveyard to face-down defense position, excluding "Earthquake Ninja". Flashfire Ninja Warrior/Effect/FIRE/Level 4 1200/200 - When this card is flipped face-up, change this card to ATK position and increase the ATK of this card by 1100 (before damage calculation). Stonewall Ninja Warrior/Effect/Level 1/EARTH 0/3500 - At the end of the Battle Phase that this card battles, destroy this card and your opponent draws 2 cards. Petal Ninja Warrior/Effect/Level 2/EARTH 1000/1300 - When this card is flipped face-up, Equip it to 1 monster your opponent controls. The equipped monster cannot attack or change it's battle position. While this card is equipped to a monster you can draw 1 additional card during your Standby Phase. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, both players Special Summon 1 monster in their Graveyard to face-down defense position, (excluding "Petal Ninja"). Ninjutsu Art - Substitution Continuous Trap Card - When a "Ninja" monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 400 Life Points return it to the Deck and place 1 "Ninja Bushin" Token (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0) in the Graveyard. "Ninja Bushin" Tokens can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. When a "Ninja Bushin" Token is destroyed, you can send 1 "Ninja" monster in your hand to the Graveyard to activate the effect of that monster as if it were flipped face-up. If a "Ninja Bushin" Token is used in the graveyard or if this card is removed from the field except by Special Summon destroy them. Ninjustu Art - Smokescreen Flare!! Quick-Play Spell Card - When face-down monsters you control would be destroyed or removed from play, you can remove from play 2 "Ninja" monsters in your Graveyard to activate this card from your hand during either players turn. Flip all monsters you control face-up. Fading Ninja Warrior/Effect/Level 1/EARTH 0/0 - If this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can add 2 cards from your Deck that includes "Ninjutsu", "Ninja" in its card name or is named "Fuhma Shuriken" from your Deck to your hand. Ieyasu Tokugawa
Unseen seems fine by all accounts. Mist is a lulzy defender that seems fine with its gain, since not much defense survives in today's meta. Flashfire seems kinda cheep, you opponent expects to run over a fd defense only to be faced with a 2300 ATK monster. Even if it can't run over a lot of the bigger monsters, it still kills some of the stronger stuff, as well as suiciding with the lvl 5 Dark Worlds. Stonewall is just meh. Going a -3 just to block your attack seems like way too much imo :/ Already discussed with you on the Substitution. Seems fine to me. Link to comment
He fails because he makes a perfectly valid statement. These rules are not strictly true, as technically there are no rules for a monster's ATK and DEF, and either way it'd be nice to see some defencive monsters that don't have to be brought out by stupid negs. Regardless, the ATK and DEF rules shouldn't even exist, personally I'd say the ATK rule should be at 2400, but that's just me, and relatively off-topic. As for the DEF rule... loldef. Unseen Ninjas definitely caught my eye. Honestly, with these cards Ninjas would be pretty damn good. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to add, Miror already said everything else I was going to.
He cannot be summoned face-up to get the effect and is limited by cards such as Skill Drain and Forbidden lance.
