PikMan
Since I was given permission to create my own villain, here's the app:
Name: Maldevus Age: 25 Appearance: Maldevus has slightly spiky blonde hair with a red bandana. He has green eyes, is fairly tall, and wears a black scarf, because scarves are cool like that. His normal outfit consists of a brown cloak with black pants and a green shirt. Allegiance: None. Class: Puppetmaster Sub-Class: Spellblade (I know it's really called Mystic Knight, but Spellblade just sounds cooler) Weapons: Maldevus has a sword, which isn't very special, but it can be charged with magic. Magic: In his spellblade tree, he knows Bio, Sleep, and Drain. He has three puppets that he controls, each with different abilities: He has a Black Mage puppet that wears traditional Black Mage clothes (Yellow hat, blue cloak) that knows Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, Bio, and Slow. The second one is a White Mage wearing a traditional White Mage cloak that knows Cura, Protect, Shell, and Haste. The third is a Warrior wearing red and gold armor that wields a sword. His own spellblade abilities aren't perfect yet, as they're mainly used as a last resort in case his marionettes are defeated. Bio: Not much is known about him. Maldevus, about 5 years prior, was responsible for having the Malibous empire destroy the neutral nation he lived in. (Which, coincidentally, is the same village Tarin came from.) After the fact, he disappeared for a while, creating a new identity for himself. He never did say how he obtained the marionettes he uses as weapons, or who he was prior to betraying his hometown. He plans to keep the war going so that the empires will eventually destroy themselves, and then rule over the ruined world. However, the rebellion is an obstacle in his plans, so he intends to wipe them out.
Navras
Accepted, under one condition. Those puppets of yours, they can't cast two spells at one time. Like the white mage puppet couldn't cast heal while the black mage puppet cast thunder. Also, beef up your spells and choose 5 rather than three. the reason I'm doing this is becuase, though your character will be occasionally active here and there, as far as fighting goes, he won't come until towards the end. So make him a bit more formidable 'kay? P.S. I'm drawin a blank on oe monsters to add to the list XD anyone else have any more ideas for monsters? They don't have to be original, mind you, they just have to be Final Fantasyish.
Otaku-sama
Land Shark? Zombie Horde? Golems?
Asriel Dreemurr
Spess Mehreens?
Navras
The Land Sharks are a definate yes, i've been trying to think of an enemy that fits well in the desert other than the Antlion. The zombies will work too. I'm pretty sure every final fantasy has some sort of undead thing about them, so they're almost a staple. As for the Golems, these are a bit more variant. Golems could be Iron Giants or they could just be made of stone, and they could travel here there and everywhere, being as until they're killed they just don't need to be in one place for any particular amount of time unless ordered to. Could you give me some more specifics on the golems so that i know more of what you have in mind? As for the spess merheens, I've gotta say no. Mainly because they're froma completely different place that doesn't involve Final Fantasy at all. however, a soilder with advanced weaponry like what the spess merheen have, that's completely acceptable and in fact I was already thinking of something similar to it. You'd have to come up with a different name, but other wise an advanced soilder is fine with me. Pikman. Your newest character, he's getting involved in the RP right now. In my last post, I made mention of him as Emperor Despair. Your starting point, with this character, is with the good emperor in his library as his guest. Get to it! PikMan
I won't be able to edit my character's spells for a while. Also, from Wednesday to Saturday I'll be out of town.
Final Fantasy Revolution
Hm, this seems very interesting, I'm going to read the IC and decided whether or not I'd like to join.
Otaku-sama
A note to Ketodama: I believe that A.A.'s character Godrick was referring to my character. Your brigade didn't charge, but mine did. Therefore, Godrick wants to attack Qiang, not Vincent. You might want to change that.
PikMan
Actually, I put something in the IC that kind of contradicts what you just said, and I won't be able to edit it. Sorry...
Asriel Dreemurr
Vincent himself moved from his position in his brigade and charged Godrick. The brigade stayed where it was. So, even if he was referring to your character, Vincent is still on the move towards him
PikMan
P.S. I can't edit my posts now because I'm going to use my 3DS, since I won't have access to a computer for about a week.P.S. Navras
@ ketodama: I was refering to Trollestia's troop, not yours. @ Trollestia: yes, Godrick is concerned about your people and wants to take care of them, but Ketodama's character is heading right for him... sooo, take care of the immedeate danger then move on ^^ @Pikman: That sucks. But, if you can still get acess to the internet via DS or whatever you can, please do as it is invaluable that you stay with the RP.
Final Fantasy Revolution
Although this role play does look like the more interesting ones, I have decided not to join. I've got some other stuff going on right now and I'd hate to join and then have to quit.
PikMan
By the way, is it all right if at this point none of the other characters know Tarin can't swim? Also, once I get the opportunity can I make an app for a Cid character?
Navras
Well.. I suppose it'd be fine if no one else knew Tarin can't swim. I mean, we're not exactly near water at the moment so... yeah, who'd know or even care that she couldn't swim? and as for Cid, no. Cid is going to be an NPC that everyone will be able to control whenever cid is interacting with their character but only with their character (meaning that if you're posting and Cid is near by, you can post as Cid too, as long as he's only talking or interacting with your character). I'm a bit torn as to how I should make cid though. On the one hand, I want to make him an airship expert like he is in pretty much every Final Fantasy. but on the other hand, I want him to be a tad bit more original. Your guys' thoughts? Asriel Dreemurr
I don't know enough about how Cid is in the other games to be giving ideas for how I think he should be. However, I think it would make a great deal of sense for him to essentially be the ferryman, but perhaps HE could know the identity of the king of legend and that's how we find out who it is. PikMan
Hey AA, just to let ya know, tomorrow I'm going out of town and won't be back until Saturday. Starting tomorrow can you take control of my characters?
Navras
Man, you just out of luck with the internet this week aren't you? >< Yeah Pikman, I'll temporarily take control of your characters until you get back on saturday. Of course, as long as I have your permission. As for the Cid idea, that may work but... only if he was super old. I mean seriously, the man would have to have been around when the last Kind of Legend was alive to know who he was the way I have it set up. I don't think that his being old would much affect his knowlege on ships... it might actually only increase it. Any complaints about making Cid a really old guy?
PikMan
AA, of course you have permission, but not until tomorrow. I'll still be here today, but from Wednesday morning to Saturday evening you have my blessing. The conversation between Despair and Maldevus would go better as one post anyway. I should be back on Saturday, and I'll PM you when I get back.
Asriel Dreemurr
I'm alright with it Aimi-san. Also, Aimi-san, it seems that you have missed a critical portion of my post regarding Godrick. The fact that Vincent's blade is being thrust straight towards Godrick's body. The blood mist is just the effect of the magic being unleashed. Also, you kind of have been just auto-deciding the outcome of every move you make. Since Vincent is still between Godrick and the tent he's charging, he could very well slash his legs out from under him whilst he's going. I mean, I understand if Vextoria losing this bit here is central to the plot, but you're just choosing a very frustrating way of making sure things happen the way they need to. PikMan
Nevermind, you already posted, so ignore what I said.
PikMan
AA, another thing I should mention is that Project X contradicts Maldevus's plan, so take that into account. Also, Tarin has nowhere to go, so she'll probably stay with Godrick. Just thought I oughta give some input before I go.
Otaku-sama
Actually, since Tarin needs places to go, I was thinking of Qiang kidnapping Tarin, just to make things interesting. Is that okay?
PikMan
Why not? Sounds cool to me.
