Breaker is a great opener, serves same function as Dekoichi in that it can be used for tribute/sync after you use its effect, makes Arcanite too. IDK about Birdman.. I can bounce a Dekoichi sure but that slows the deck down, I want to do something with the Dekoichi straight after flipping it. Crow is a tech choice because it hits nearly everything this format (Plants, Sams when they use Double-Edge, Sabers, anything with Avarice).

I know, but still.
Anyway, most of the singles you're running seems random
1 POA
1 Salvo
1 Chalice
1 Rai-Oh
1 Breaker

Gale is DANK, Armor Master is clearly the best Anti Meta synchro with loads of protection. 2 Salvo can be inconsistent, there's no way to mill Dekoichi or otherwise get it in the grave, so there's fair chance you'll draw Salvo before Dekoichi and it'll sit dead.

More singles makes it versatile. Idea is that it can tackle a range of decks effectively. 1 Pot of Avarice is good because it's always good with Tengu but there's nothing else in this deck to warrant running 2.
