[spoiler=How TBS's work :]
TBS stands for Turn Based Strategy. At the beginning of each turn, based on your actions in previous turns, you would have a certain amount of money to spend. You could improve your armoury, buy better guns, include some more people on the payrolls etc. etc. Now, the prime objective is to survive, how you do that is totally your call, while secretly planning to kill off some other character.

[center]The Background[/center]
The location is the small coastal city of Emerisia. this was a quiet small fishing village not 100 years ago, but then slowly as the commercial importance of the location was realized, more people began to flock to this city. These days, it is center of heavy industries, shipping, food processing, ammunition factory etc. etc. which not only acts as the bread winner for the local community but also contributes heavily on the economy of the nation.......this is what the official books had to say...

A matter of interest is the fact is this is also a center for trade of drugs, illegal weapons, blood-diamonds from africa, human trafficking, wildlife trafficking, human-organ trades, etc being the major revenue earners... this underground market was estimated to be of more value than of the "white-market" business. This illegal trade has been set up by a host of gangs, each grouped together by ethnicity, sometimes by color, religion, etc etc. There are 6 such gangs that currently among them have decided to rule the city,accordingly diving each sector among themselves. These gangs reap a good revenue from undertaking these trades, and the common understanding is that, no one messes into others business (businesses will be distributed by GM)

The city police is now desperate to finish off this turbulent atmosphere, has called up a senior military intelligence officer, who has under his/her command, 3 squads of elite commandos, who chief objective is to hunt down and finish off these gang lords.

[spoiler=Other Shenanigans]
Condition of Winning:
1. Be the last person to be assassinated. (*for a gang to surrender, you have to successfully assassinate the top 3 persons of the gang)
2. The SWAT team is eliminated.
3. All businesses have been acquired by one gang or gang association.

Condition of Losing :
1. Be assassinated three times by other gangs or commando teams
2. Threat level rises to 100 . (Threat level increases with innocent civilians killed, or high extortion rates)

Some other conditions :
1. Threat Levels : If you start taxing the local businessmen too much money or they do not like something you did, some one might sneak up some information to the commando teams.
2. The city apparently doesn't have a sewer system, no one can "literally" go under ground.
3. Gangs can't fly helicopters/gliders/aqueous crafts or any devices of that sort
4. Snipers on elevated positions will have higher chances of aiming/ Frag grenades will have more effect/ prone positions shoots better etc etc. the point being its more realistic.
5. Any firearm that can be bought (with some exceptions, biological, chemical weapons) from the market can be used.. please make a query before purchasing it. No land mines can be purchased. Also when purchasing weapons provide the link from Wikipedia.
6. Sometimes some assignments would be made available to certain factions, completion of which will provide some better advantages.
