I'm sorry, but is there a point to learning anything less than the strongest versions of Skills?
I was wondering if we'd be using some sort of MP mechanic, as that would be the only way to balance out, say, Admiral's character (which has Salvation and Megidolaon, two almost broken abilities were it not for their massive MP cost) with someone who chose to take some abilities at a level or so lower.

Username: SPA7X
Character Name: Argent Kaneko
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Biography: Born the only child of an Anglo-French Mother and artist and a Japanese Father he is the heir to an powerful industrial enterprise. Schooled at one of the most prestigious academies in the region, he developed a passion for knowledge early on in life and was considered a child prodigy, one of the best of the Kaneko line. His father Raised him from day one to think like a businessman, like a strategist, to always be three steps of your opponents. But somehow, much to the chagrin of his simplistic and materialistic father, he developed the mentality of researcher, turning toward the pursuit of knowledge rather than fortune.

His first encounter with his dormant abilities occurred at the age of 15 after the death of his mother during the birth of his brother who later also died due to complications. Whether it was the sudden shock of this tragedy or instead the stress of keeping up with his outer appearance and not having a true period of grieving is unknown, but shortly after he began seeing images of Mercury and occasionally glimpses of Thoth in mirrors and reflective pools. The first week their appearances were scarce and he merely wrote it of as stress. But soon the images became almost overwhelming, as though the beings inside were trying to take control and forcibly manifest themselves. So then he began to search for an explanation, eventually coming across the small little group we know today.

Personality: As one who is more intellectually oriented, he prefers the company of a good book or of a computer rather than the presence of others. This may occasionally cause him to appear cold or down-right anti-social, but in reality he doesn't mind socializing: He just values the pursuit of knowledge more. He has a good eye for detail as well, sometimes Allowing him astute observations of enemies he might have only just glanced. Tends to rationalize and think over many options and opinions before making action even on simple things such as directions on the road or even what would be considered acceptable or "best" to eat.

Appearance: Silvery hair true to his name, of moderate length covering unless pulled over his ear, cut strangely in the back (The cut is in the shape of the lunar crescent). Long loose grey formal jacket, plain white t underneath. Black rather loose and long dress pants. Ocassionally wears a Black and silver casual style Kimono.
Role: Analyst, yet should not be underestimated
Reason/s why you want to join this RP: I plan on picking up the persona games at some time in the near future. also, this appears to be a sturdy concept with plenty of room for growth meaning in could go places. Lastly, I need something of an RP pick me up. Something to get back into the game.

@SPA7X: Change Last Word and you might be accepted.

@ The MP Stuff: Nah I don't want to make this thing an RPG so I'm thinking of this:

Light, Medium, Heavy Damage skills are limited to one post after the another.
Support skills are limited to one to two post after your last usage depending on the level of the skill like Mediarama is a two post limit skill.
Extremely Heavy, Advanced Healing skills are limited to three posts after your last usage.

So wait, why no Lost word exactly? It's basically a random shot in the dark, not really over powered or anything. Come to think of it, based on the negatives it could yield, it's basically the most balanced ability of all. Plus I kinda like how it goes with the theme of the tarot.

You could make it the Strange Journey effect which would be A random effect, chosen from the following:
1) Allies HP recovery
2) Enemies HP recovery
3) Allies MP recovery
4)Enemies MP recovery
5) Allies all status buff
6) Allies all status debuff
7) Enemies all status buff
8) Enemies all status debuff

To be honest, I think that's where I got effects confused.
