Alright. Well, if you don't know who she is, you should. Not only is she more creative than Lil' Kim or Missy Elliot, she brings a whole new level of sex appeal to the rap world, which is heavily dominated by men. She's an extravagent goddess.

Her most popular song to date, then some older stuff, then a newer song where she was featured. She's spectacular. Discuss.

shes pretty nice. her flow along with her delivery is someting we havent seen from a female emcee as she has soo many personalities she brings to the table on a record and in all is able to make good songs and many that can relate to all crowds.

I dont know exactly if youd say shes more "creative" than Missy Elliot though cause if you actually listen to what she says it was basically unheard of for a female back in the early/mid 90's when she came out.

but all in all Nicki is a pretty dope emcee and ya gotta give it up to her.

@Number 85: I will have to agree to disagree with you. I think that her verses make most songs.

@The Twizzler: You are absolutely correct...excuse me lil' mama but you could say I'm on duty...and then when she references the reindeer? She's amazing.

@Idreezy: 3rd fastest? Busta Rhymes is in front of course, but who are the first two? And her ass IS amazing.

@tomtekorv: Super Bass is amazing, but unfortunately I found that song before it got popular...so now it seems way too overplayed. :)

I want to start a Nicki club...but something tells me that it wouldn't be very popular. Maybe just a rap group...

Why should sex appeal or image be important in the Music industry? It is called the Music industry for a reason. Ignoring her sex appeal she is nothing really. She can't rap well, can't sing very well and doesn't write her own stuff. She is a vehicle of her record company and a piece of manufactured pop.

Well, I think that sound is very important, but when you're looking at an overall artist, you want them to have a good image overall. I think that her personality and image add to her effect of rapping.

I have to disagree with you on her rapping abilities. I think that her rapping is actually very good. If you pay attention to the words and the phrases that she uses, you can understand the message that she's conveying. She's actually very clever at using different words to convey a hilarious meaning. Plus she says "f***" a lot. So it's funny. Easy as that.

She's not a singer. Everyone knows that.

Rappers should have a reasonable degree of coherence. Minaj does not. Sean Garrett ghost writes much of her stuff. I imagine she has some input, but no musician would ever admit to having a ghost-writer. Lil' Wayne didn't and he has many of them. Like I said, she is merely a vehicle for her record company. Manufactured pop.

I do not agree.

Saying "I do not agree" is fine, as long as you have evidence to back up your claims. This isn't a matter of opinion, whether an artist is manufactured or not is a matter of fact, so give so facts that your statement to be correct and mine to be wrong.

She is only good because she is a women. If she were a man rapping, her lack of rap skill would be more apparent.

i.e. Tits and ass are the only reason people care about her.
