Well for starters, if you attack directly, you'll have to put a spell counter on this card or on another monster you control (unless your given the choice to do so). Regardless of that, it's pretty balanced. There are OCG errors but they're not terrible (in the card name though it should be a "J" instead of a "G" in projectile). This is a definite win with great effect, it would work awesomely in my deck or spell counter/spellcaster deck. Only thing to clarify might be the part where you rremove one counter to recover 1 spell card. Might be a bit overpowered even though it is to the top of the deck. Instead it should be remove 2 or 3 counters. Also more specific on where to remove the counters from like from your side of the feild or this card.
