I'm withdrawing my application. While writing my application I didn't really get a "feel" for this RP

EDIT: Can you describe the world a bit more please? That'd help I think

The world is like any other world, but the difference is that you can use music to cause attacks.

Let me try.

Thier is one thing of value in this world, that is music.

IT goes beyond attacks, if something exists it has a song and people know this. All cultures are very musically based and even the geography is affected by music.

The wastes in the north have black amps growing on the cliffs, large swords impaling the ground, huge metallic beasts walk the land. The harsh and rich vibrancy of heavy metal runs strong.

Further to the west you have a more peaceful but no less hectic. The rivers run long and are deep with tales and the nights are vibrant with the noises of the animals, the night is the time of celebration and days are time of contemplation. These lands run with the smooth tunes of jazz and blues. Most of the fauna is peaceful but near the river the people aren't so friendly, thus the blues. The people in ska forest are far more friendly but not the most responsible people, why work when you can celebrate?

The south lay ruins of ancient times, great towers of rusted brass lay, with half of them standing in some facismile of pride where the other half on the dirt, cables crisscross the land, their strings cut long ago in some mysterious war. This is where many assume the book is hidden and many a Prospector has lived thier lives hunting for it. These prospectors have their own way of life, driving caravas on the lively tunes of banjos made from the scrap that surronds them so. These country nomads crisscross the grave of classical and oprea. And yet whoever these maestros where, they were strong and many a artifact of power lies burried under the ruins of this land.

In the east... well their is the New wave ocean, harsh and violent, few manage to cross it, and those that do... they find the New Hell, the land is glossy and smooth, few crops grow, and those that do are produced in the many mysterious "factories" that seem to grow from the land. The land is desolate, a desert where the mysterious Gagaliens roam the sky with thier many winged birds and garbs of god knows what the f*** and on the land their roams the Battalion of the Warlord Judas Riever. Riever brings order to the land but at a terrible cost. He is a tyrant, he cut the tounges of a few brave men who defied his will by claiming they "had taste". This represents the dorky generation we always make fun of, or behind our backs atleast lest the black witch Fridia hears us speak ill of her. Rap is not apart of this but was rather created by those who fled the eastern lands and adapted. Kinda like american food.

Judas is reserved by me btw.

Hmm let me check rave music.

I have a feeling it would be someone who has ties to the ska forest. Ska is very vibrant and thus kinda party music.

Yeah the metallic sounds kinda resemble those found in New Hell with some of the Forest stuff.

Perhaps one of mixed pedigrees?

Though it is your world you get to choose. :D

Hmmm.... Interesting clearly I should have added a techno area.

I would suggest.... that it's from the Scratch Savana, which is a large are of land between central and New Wave sea.

It's a desert, bareen yet rich in potential if one knows where to look.

Overhead the Auroa euphoria fly in the distant and the area is rich in vinyl, which can store sound.

Thus the area became the forefront of musical research.

Thus techno, rave, and the like. Everything using a dj is here.

I will need to somehow draw a map later.
Name: Samantha Tesla (Yes, that's my YCM member name too) She goes by Polar Effect though.
Alias/Title: Polar Effect (This is taken after Marisa Polar's name. See Bio)
Age: 23
Gender: Female (I'm glad about the "other" though. I'm happy that you're so accepting ^^)
Appearance:

The apples are sun symbols though on my character though. The rest of the outfit and looks are fine though.
Personality: Polar Effect is an extremely loyal person. This proven by her reason to even look for the Grand Composer's Sheet music(see bio for more details). She is also extremely cheerful and kind to others but she will not hesitate to take down people in her way. She's always the happiest when she plays her music though, sometimes just plugging her headphones into her Keytar and inventing new styles of techno and rave.
Species: Human
Instrument: Keytar with built in remix functions (see appearance picture for reference) it also has two speakers built into it.
Weapon(s): A set of throwing daggers
Chord: Shining Shield ~ While Polar Effect plays her Keytar she forms a glowing shield around her. It is extremely tough to destroy at first but over the time of 1 minute the shield slowly becomes weaker and instead the light it gives off becomes stronger. After 1 minute of playing the shield cannot stop anything but the light is so strong that if you look into it you will become temporarily blinded.
Leitmotif: The Overwhelming Night ~ Polar Effect's instrument starts to absorb light from all around her. creating a bubble of pure darkness. The longer she plays the larger the bubble becomes. Even though she is the original origin of the darkness, she can move around in it once it forms. The darkness doesn't affect Polar Effect however, but anyone else will be unable to see inside of the darkness. She can use her right hand to play the Keytar at this time, using her right hand to throw her daggers. (The reasoning behind this is that if she uses her leitmotif, she wants her enemy to share in her despair)
Bio: Samantha Tesla grew up in the Aurora City of the Scratch Savana, learning to remix every song from the other cities by the age of 5. She was considered a prodigy by those who heard her and her skills only grew as she grew older. Then one day she was kidnapped because of her fame and held for ransom. She was held, however, inside a pitch black box and this scarred her forever. Now she can only perform outside or in well lit rooms, her music starting to fall apart the darker it is. She made lots of friends however, although her best friend was Marisa Polar who could brighten everything with one simple song. She could always bring a smile to Samantha's face. Though one day a sinkhole opened underneath the city while Marisa was out shopping. The marketplace and the surrounding buildings fell immediately, killing everyone in the area. Samantha was busy performing on the other side of town when this happened. When she got the news she cried for days on end, never coming out of her room and would only accept food and water through the door. When she finally emerged she declared that she was leaving in search of the Great Composer's Sheet Music to bring back Marisa Polar and that until she was done she would now be know as Polar Effect. That night she set off.
Techniques/Spells/Etc.: Distortion ~ She can record the songs of others with her instrument and play them back in remixed form to produce a much watered down version of their ability. This does not work on Leitmotifs (example: The enemy plays a song that spews fire from their instrument. Distortion will allow Polar Effect to spew sparks from her instrument. This does not stop the original song's effects).
Other Interesting Facts: She has an extreme fear of the dark.
Theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX7AiiHLM8Y
RP Sample: Samantha Tesla entered Central City, the nexus for music from all the corners of the world with her Keytar in hand. She had run out of money a few days ago and was living off of what she could get by playing small gigs on the way to Central. Her clothes were still pristine despite the conditions she had gone through to get to Central. God, I hope I can find somewhere that will let me play for some money, She thought to herself, her food having been eaten up a few hours ago. "Um, excuse me? Do you know where I can find somewhere I could play for some cash?" she asked some random passing stranger. The stranger stopped and looked at her for a moment before telling her about some contest going on. He smirked at her instrument though before she ran off towards the small contest between different musicians that were showing off the music of their homelands. Right now there was some horrible screeching going on with loud noises obviously originating from the wastes in the north. She submitted her name as 'Polar Effect' and then waited until her turn.

Two musicians followed the screeching, each worse than before and the judges were sighing to themselves, one of them with their hand against their head as if they had a headache. Guess I'll have to do something more lyrical than usual, she sighed to herself, having hoped to have played her latest song Synthetic Breakdown. "Fly" should be a good choice.

When it was her turn she started to play singing, "I'll be your best friend babe, I'll be everything you need. And when you're calling for help, I'll be there before you know. And when you smile again, I'll make you think about the moon. I'll make you fly up high, forever with me." She then faded into a soft techno designed to calm the nerves and help the head. At the end of the contest she walked away with the first place prize money. Now to find a place to stay, maybe there's a traveler's inn where I can find out more information on the Sheet Music. Sam turned down a street and started to wander the city.
I'll stay and tell you why I'm not comfortable with working in this RP. Who knows, purhaps you'll convince me.

It's something I find annoying when someone choses not too read something or not too address it. Often this is reflected into the rp in a situation where something is clearly said or done, and sometimes even pointed out spefically in the OOC for importance and then completely missed by people who continue to post as though it never happened or as if they had no idea the obvious event happened. (This has happened in almost all my previous rp's and I wind up trying to tell people that they missed something or telling the host that someone isn't reading something... and I'm always pegged as the person who is at fault no matter how obvious it was that I was just trying to help.)

Since I just can not stand it any longer, I don't want to take such a risk as I'll surly wind up with a head-ache that is very unpleasant.

While yes, the whole Co-host part of my post is presentable as a reason why I do not want to stay. It is not true that I am leaving because I can't be Co-host. (I'm not that much of a brat... Am I? O_O)

Your point of view?

I understand and I will admit I have had the same experiances in the past. Pfft, who hasn't?!

However you can ask those who Roleplay with me, as I am sure you have, I can do a pretty good job Hosting a Roleplay in which everyone is kept as up to date when they ask as possible. Not to mention catching the situations which you mentioned, when people ignore something someone else has posted, though I can't go on without saying I sometimes too miss this; that happens normally when I have not managed to catch up or was skimming for a quick update.

Techi I can assure you, though not 100% since I ain't perfect, that situations like that will be rare if at all.
Because I am certain that, anything I miss, will be personally pointed out by Nexev; he good at things like that.

1.No one is perfect, but at least most people should know too read more =_= ... So many times I was told to calm down just because I could read and these people couldn't...
2.Fine, Since I like the concept and you are sure that things like this will be rare at most, I'll give it a week and see if I can do it or not...

3. ... What now? O_O
