Doom on SNES was awesum, and the music was one of the system's best. The Genesis version on the other hand......

I feel like getting a 32X just to torture myself with that game :D

No but Doom is pretty fun, although I never owned any of them, I had played at my friend's house

Wtf is Doom anyways? Is it like the movie where you fight aliens with high tech weapons?

There are only three similarities between the Doom movie and the Doom games: Mars, Space Marines, and the BFG.
The BFG, by the way, is one of the most iconic weapons from the franchise.

Anyways, sledgehammer exposition time:

Doom 1 is about a space marine who has to fight his way through a demon invasion on the moons of Mars. The game starts out in the facilities on Phobos, then proceeds to Deimos, which is somehow floating above Hell. The third part of the game involves fighting through Hell to kill the demon responsible for creating the portal that facilitated the invasion, and the player goes back to the Phobos Base.

I'm not as familiar with Doom 2: Hell on Earth, but I believe the title says it all. Somehow another portal opened on Earth, or some of the demons escaped the space marine's rampage and are trying to open a portal, or something. Anyway, demons on Earth, kill them and their leader.

As far as I know, Doom 3 is an updated remake of the original Doom.

Anyone who is more knowledgeable about this/who has a key to play past the Phobos levels of Doom 1 is free to correct me on any of this.
