Drew laughed a pleasant and cheerful laugh as his slifer managed to do direct damage to Kais life points. However this time he wasn't pretending. For some strange reason Drew suddenly forgot about everything else and started to act like his old self. Drew blinked but it wasn't noticeable by Kai. He began to think. "What's happening to me. Im so used to overpowering my opponent and defeating them that know that I'm having a duel with a skilled opponent I feel like my old self. I'm going to have to finish off this duel and quick before something else strange happened." Drew then heard Kais question. Drew stopped thinking and looked at Kai. "Well as you already know it gains attack equal the amount of cards in my hand times 1000. But another thing is that he is immune to the effects of your monster, spell and trap effects. So how do you like that."

"Immune completely? I would think not. He's the weakest of the Gods in a sense, and if I'm not mistaken you would mean he's immune to being targeted like the other two. However, that means he still has weaknesses. I'm also assuming, based on the most recent video game incarnation, he also automatically destroys a Normal or Flip summoned monster I play with 2000 or less defence points. Even so, that's not too much to deal with. With his power capped at 2000 for two turns I have enough time to overpower him and obliterate it." Kai laughed slightly and thought to himself. [i]Okay, it seems most likely that it's effect is somewhere along the lines of needing 3 tributes, is un-targetable, if it's special summoned it's sent to the grave at the end of the turn, it gets 1000 atk times the cards in its controller's hand and destroys any monster I normal or flip summon with 2000 DEF or less. If that's the case - and I highly doubt I'm wrong considering the other two's effects - then I have one card in my deck that could eliminate it. But will I draw it?[/i] He looked at Drew with a curious look. "Is that all of your turn?"

As Escher was falling from the opening in the building, he readied his grappling hook, and hooked the window-washing scaffold, halting his descent. "Argh, ropeburn, but no time for that. Retract!" Escher was clearly in pain as the hook began pulling the rope up into the scaffold, to the bafflement of the worker in it. Once he could grab onto the edge of it, Escher pulled himself into the scaffold, then punched out the worker and cut his harness, sending him over the edge, screaming to the pavement below. "Now that I have this to myself, I can begin my descent to the ground and return to Amathoz for further orders." Doing just that, he operated the controls, the scaffold lowering more quickly than it should.

Drew shook his head as he realised that mistake that he had made. Drew was staring at Kai and put his hand on his forehead. "Right silly me I must of forgotten." Drew laughed once again in a friendly way. This time he definitely was faking but it wasn't noticeable. Drew scanned his hand and thought to himself. "Well seeing that I can't let my Dragons attack go down I'll just have to end my turn."Drew looked up and looked at Kai. He started to speak out loud so that Kai could hear him. "Well I've got nothing else to play so ending my turn is pretty much my only option. So start your turn."

Kai decided abruptly. "It's time to put all my faith on this draw. Against a God Card, I need to Top-Deck. Here goes..." in a dramatic flash he thrust the card out of his duel disk and into his hand, so fast that there was a temporary afterimage. He stared at the card. "Okay! I'm SO in the zone! I set my second face down card and end my turn...and as you know, you can't draw this turn!" He laughed, being friendly but slightly mean. He couldn't help it. He had a plan that was sure to work, and even if it didn't, he still had 1 backup card.

Yuzaki heard an explosion and ran straight for it leaving Suzume in the room unknowing if she was following him or not. He pulled out a smartphone and it opened up a blueprint of the building. "Perfect, the security bots I instaled disarmed some... bombs," he looked up uneasily as he saw the big gaping hole in the wall, "except one, this was the unfinished part I was still making the alloy to replace this common glass..." One of the guards came running towards Yuzaki. "I got you!" he yelled as he grabbed Yuzaki by the arm then released him as soon as he saw who he was, "Sir, I'm sorry I thought you were... Holy, what happened here?" Yuzaki was incredibly mad and sent the guard off to check if there were any casualties and if anyone was injured. "The man must have gotten away," said Yuzaki to himself, "I wan't every unit in town searching for whoever this is! If he did this there is no telling what he could do to anyone in town!" Other guards that arrived nodded and went to contact the local authorities. After Yuzaki said this he examined the hole and wondered what the man could have wanted, nothing was stolen according to the database he had on his phone. Then he fell to his knees wincing in pain as if something was getting closer to him and he had another vision. It was back at the same temple he was in as Tutankhamen only this time it seemed bigger and someone was holding him. He looked up and saw a gorgeous woman that had a tender look on her face, his mother. Only she had a different hairstyle and the clothing was definately egyptian. It was not a bad vision/memory but it still caused him pain either because of the time difference or because he sensed something bad was going to happen to her. He awoke on his knees with a tear slowly running down his cheek; it was a very nerve racking memory because his parents had died only a couple of years ago... Dux and Phalanx appeared on either side of him; Phalanx rubbed his head against Yuzaki's shoulder and Dux patted him on the back trying to calm him down. "Suzume," he said meekly trying to call out to his friend whom he had no knowledge where he left her since running off, "are you close?! Track are you there?" He remembered he had left Track in his building and was horrified at the thought that Track might have been attacked or injured. He remained there on his knees, waiting for someone to come along, Dux and Phalanx remained comforting him while he started to gather his thoughts on what he just saw.

Suzume had just gotten off the bike when she and Yuzaki heard an explosion in the building. To Suzume's utter lack of surprise, the boy charged off. She followed, but she was still tired and couldn't keep up with him. She slowed to something closer to a jog, which was far more comfortable and still allowed her to catch up with Yuzaki - who was kneeling on the ground, upset about something. "Yuzaki?" she asked softly, putting a hand on his shoulder as she bent down beside him, "did something just happen?"


Upon hearing an explosion, Dark Valkyria turned to Track. Fortunately the explosion seemed limited to elsewhere. Still... "Are you injured?" she asked.


The explosion seemed to shake the receptionist badly. Before she'd been somewhat stressed by an intruder, now she was almost in shock. Don walked over and leant on the counter. "Ah wouldna worry too much lassie," he comforted her, "the buildin isn'a fallin on oor heads. Ah have ta go in a minute or so, but why din ye get a cuppa tea?" Nodding the receptionist headed over into a break room.
Don leaned over the desk and picked up a visitor's pass. "Dinna wan the security thinkin' ah'm the intruder noo," he muttered as he slipped off into the building. Since he'd told her he was leaving, the receptionist would have no suspicions about his absence when she returned. "Noo, Lassie, Kinjo, intruder, where are ye?"

Yuzaki touched his cheek and felt the single tear and dried it. He looked at Suzume who was now next to him. "I saw her," he said still shaken up by the touching vision, "my mom, but in another vision..." Yuzaki laughed a bit trying to make himself feel better but it obviously didn't do it. "It was strange," he continued, "she was holding me but it was like I was still a baby but she's dead... That's crazy, well if no one got hurt then I'm fine; I'm sure the insurance covers this." He tried to get up but for some reason he couldn't, it wasn't magic or anything, it was just the hock of the vision had weakened him. "Well Suzume," said Yuzaki very depressed, "you saw me cry... Something no one should see. At least that's what dad always made me believe but... he's dead too." Now another single tear flowed down his other cheek and he lowered his head confused by the emotions he was now feeling and at the same time thinking he was a pansy for crying. It was something he rarely talked about, the death of his parents, he would have been at least twelve which was the reason he could remember it so vividly. They were both killed in a hotel raid by some men who's intentions were unknown, something which is not uncommon, but they also tortured Yuzaki while they killed his parents in front of him. He passed out on his parent's bodies and awoke in a hospital. Somehow he had been saved but he got the dreadful news of his parents. He never knew who the killers were and didn't bother to seek revenge...

Without another word, Suzume moved in front of him, and pulled Yuzaki into a hug. "It's OK to be upset," she told him soothingly, "it's your mother, and everyone love their mothers." [i]Perhaps not absolutely everyone, but the ones that don't aren't worth the time to even mention.[/i] "Don't keep things like that bottled up; it will never do you any good." She moved into a kneeling position and pulled him in tighter. "Maybe not everyone should see you cry, but I'm your friend, Yuzaki, and this is what friends are for. If you ever need to cry about something, regardless of whether it's something like this or something unimportant, I'm here for you."

Yuzaki was too sad to even think of anything else when Suzume hugged him. "Thanks," said Yuzaki quietly and slowly, "yeah... that's what friends are for I guess. Mom was different though, she seemed Egyptian... Not sure if that makes any sense though, I think it was a past life too." He then thought of Suzume, he was being hugged tightly and he couldn't help but think.[i] I love her, but so far all the people I love have suffered or died... [/i]She was still hugging him when he felt the pain once more but this time there wasn't a vision. As much as he would wish to just stay hugging her like that forever with no worries in the world, real life called out to him. He pulled away a little to face her directly. "There is something here," said Yuzaki, "I don't know why but I feel it..." He was still being hugged and he noticed he was hugging her back, he wasn't sure to completely let go or what, he was very confused by what just happened.

Track watched as the strange man who had given him a package ran off and jumped out of a hole that was created from the explosion. Track looked up at the duel spirit as it asked him weather he was alright. "Don't worry about me that was nothing. Compared to what I've faced that was a walk in the park." Track heard voices coming from a nearby corridor so went to investigate. There he saw Yuzaki and Suzume hugging each other. "Hey Yuzaki how's it going." Track suddenly realised what was going on. "Yuzaki you sly dog you. You just couldn't help yourself could ya." Track began to laugh.
Drew knew that he couldn't draw so he decided to do what he thought was the best choice. "Okay slifer attack his life points directly."

[Wave_Sine]

As soon as the scaffold hit the ground, Escher took off running. As he did so, he stuffed the grappling hook into his bag and fashioned bandages from the stolen jumpsuit. He had completed his mission: deliver package, instruct about final destination of package, and do not engage in battle. All had been accomplished according to the mission. However, the 'fun' on the side hadn't gone quite as planned; his explosives had been disabled, causing much less collateral damage than intended. Re-attaching his Disc, he activated it, placed Kozaky in it once more, and activated the 'invert' mode. Satisfied with this 'double', he sent the reverse-colored Kozaky in a different direction, and continued on his path back to Amathoz for new orders.

Dark Valkyria drifted along behind Track as he came across Yuzaki and Suzume. [i]So he came then,[/i] she mused, floating in the air with her arms crossed, [i]and he brought that girl with him.[/i] Regardless of the comments of the boy next to her, she didn't see the scene as suggestive of any romantic interaction between the two - since they were both kneeling, one of them had likely collapsed and the other one was providing support. Whether anything would have happened, she didn't know, but from her experience kneeling was only involved in one part of human courtship, and that came late on and involved a ring.

"Something's here?" Suzume wondered, right before Track, shadowed by a different duel spirit, entered the room, and began laughing about something. She separated herself from Yuzaki, pulled them both up, and turned to the boy. "And what exactly is going through your little head?" she asked.

Track laughed for a bit longer. Then Suzume got up along with Yuzaki. She questioned Track by asking him what was going on inside his head. Track stopped laughing and looked at her. "What, I in my head. Not much. Not much goes through my head anyway. The only things that go through my head are dueling, relaxing and more dueling. Anyway. Hey Yuzaki why is your girlfriend so cranky. You should tell her to lighten up." Track then remembered the gift that he had to give to Yuzaki. "Here this is for you." Track went over to Yuzaki and held out the package. " Some wierdo gae it to me."

[Time Psyduck]

"We're not dating," Suzume corrected Track automatically. Dark Valkyria observed the girl.
[i]What is she to Yuzaki Kinjo?[/i] the spirit wondered, [i]They seem close, but she showed no sign of embarrassment or deception when she denied a romantic relationship. It seems they are only close friends, but nothing more, at least not yet.[/i]
"Yuzaki Kinjo," Valkyria spoke up as Track handed over the parcel, returning her attention to the other male in the room. "I would advise you to be cautious with that package. The person who delivered it was one of those who was watching your duel outside the school this morning, and it's contents may therefore be hazardous."

Don walked around a corner and past a couple of security guard, who checked him.
"What are you doing here?" one of them asked. Don waved the stolen pass.
"Ah'm here to meet mister Kinjo," he explained.
"His office is two floors above, although he may be busy at the moment," the guard replied, "we've had an intruder."
"Och dear, I 'ope ye find 'im," Don replied. "Well thanks very much." Don doubled back, heading for the stairs.

Kai had anticipated this. He pressed the button on the back of his Duel Disk. "Not so fast, Drew! Since The Egyptian Gods are still affected by non-targeting effects, I can safely activate this! MIRROR FORCE! This will eliminate your sky dragon and ruin your chances of a decent comback! How about that!" Kai laughed meanly again. A strange barrier force came between Slifer's massive attack and himself, reflecting the attack back at Slifer. [i]Hehe, this is too easy...[/i] He thought to himself.

Track heard Suzume say that she and Yuzaki were not dating. Track looked at Suzume and smiled. Then slid across the floor to go right next to Yuzaki. He patted him on the back whilst he talked. "It's okay Yuzaki she deny it but it's okay I bet she's just lying to herself. But trust me man. Woman will break your heart. Although I've never experienced heart break before. Because I'm usually the one breaking the hearts." Track began to laugh. "I'm too funny for my own good." Then the duel spirit he was with began to speak out. Track stopped speaking for a while to give the spirit a chance.
Drew watched as his dragon was destroyed by it's own attack. "Well fine then I activate the spell card pot of averice so that I can the five monsters in my grave to my deck." Drew placed the five monsters in his graveyard on the top of his deck and shuffled it. "And I also get to draw two cards. I'll end my turn with a face down and that's it."

"My move, draw!" Kai looked at the card in his hand. Terror seemed to fill him. He'd not expected [b]this[/b] card to still be in his deck with the darkness gone, but it seemed that was not the case. "I could play it and make an excellent move..." He mumbled. He took the card and was about to place it on the duel disk when something stopped him - Doragon and Bandit - particularly the latter. "What are you doing?!"
"[i]No! Don't play that card! It'll strengthen the dark side of you and weaken us, I'll be corrupted again![/i]" Doragon pleaded. Bandit realised he, too, was in danger.
"[i]Please, master Kai! DON'T!![/i]" Kai shook them off.
"Leave me alone. You may be protecting me but I want to win. Now leave me alone!" He hadn't realised yet, but he was acting just like Yugi from the Waking the Dragons Arc. "I remove from play the Digihuman Doragon in my Graveyard to Special Summon D-Digihuman Doragon from my hand!" When he placed it on the duel disk, sparks began to fly. Doragon screamed out, "[i]NO![/i]" before materialising on the field, being consumed by darkness, and forming his old self. Suddenly, he waved his wings and flew into the air, casting 2 bolts of black lightning onto the Field either side of him. "I'm using his effect; when he's summoned, I can Special Summon 2 Digihumans from my hand or Deck, and I will Special Summon D-Digihuman Martoir and D-Digihuman Bandit from my Deck!"

It seemed Kai's hunch was right; if the first was in his deck, they all must be. Martoir, a ballroom dancer, and the Bandit appeared before them, and each was consumed by darkness and turned into their new forms. "D-Digihumans are summonable 2 ways; by removing from play their original selves, or by the effect of other D-Digihumans." The Bandit, though in his 'Dark' form, seemed to be standing quite close to Kai - something holograms don't do - in order to keep "protecting" him from his inner self. "Attack, my monsters - except you, Martoir, you're usless." Bandit and Doragon rushed forward to attack Drew.

Yuzaki was very confused by everything that was happening. Track came and was pushing a box towards Yuzaki while asking about Suzume as his 'girlfriend', she was saying that they weren't dating, Track started to talk to Yuzaki about broken heart, then a spirit of Dark Valkyria was warning him about the package. "Okay everyone just shut up!" yelled Yuzaki very annoyed by the fact that everyone seemed to gang up on him, "please! I've had a very long day and it's really taking a toll on me." He took the package and could feel that whatever was inside was the thing that caused him the vision and pain. "Let's all go back to my office," said Yuzaki a little more calmed down, "it's reinforced with my own security bots so no one can get in or out. And Track... She's definitely not my girlfriend so my heart isn't broken." He looked behind him and saw Dux and Phalanx hovering just outside the hole. [i]Come on you guys.[/i] They walked to Yuzaki's office going through a large corridor that seemed endless.

Escher arrived back at the temple, then switched his Disc off and put Kozaky back into his deck. He continued forward, into the chamber where he had last seen Amathoz. "I have returned successfully from my mission. I have delivered the package to the boy, and instructed him to deliver it to Yuzaki." Escher looked around nervously, not sure if Amathoz was actually here or not, but assuming he was seemed to a good idea. If Amathoz wasn't there, at least this was a rehearsal. "Anyway, I have come to seek new orders. What is it you would have me do now, Master Amathoz?" Escher said, while taking another of his overly theatrical bows.

[Time Psyduck]

Dark Valkyria glanced over at the other spirits.[i] It might be useful to have a conversation with them,[/i] she mused, but decided she needed to speak with Yuzaki first. Don was still downstairs - or at least that was the idea, but given the explosion he was likely already on his way.Either way, she needed to alert the youth to her partner's presence. "Good afternoon, Yuzaki Kinjo," she spoke, floating alongside him, "I apologize for my lack of an introduction, however I felt it important to inform you of the source of that package. I am, as you may be aware, Dark Valkyria. My partner has been searching for you, and is currently within this building."

Suzume followed along, listening. "Another person looking for Yuzaki?" she muttered to herself.

[Kazekage dragon]

Amathoz heard someone was calling out to him. He entered from the balcony where he was collecting his thoughts for the next plan of action. "Perfect," said Amathoz, "you have been a faithful servant and completed your mission." He looked at Escher and slowly turned his head towards the back of the room which had a new painting, hieroglyphic painting actually, of a giant snake bound down by some ropes. "That is our goal servant, Escher," said Amathoz coldly, "releasing the god of ultimate destruction to rid this world of every last human... And then rebuilding it as it should have been... But do not misunderstand ALL humans other than you and your partners will be killed. Now I need you to find my other servants, the time is coming." Amathoz turned his head towards Escher again and waited for a response to anything, the plan, searching for the others or anything else Escher had to say.

Yuzaki looked at Valkyria and nodded. "Okay nice to meet you, then I guess we'll wait until he gets here," said Yuzaki, "I'm throwing a wild guess here but you guys are also part of the prophecy then?" Yuzaki pushed a button on his smart phone and a metal wall slid from the upper part of the hole until it closed the hole completely. "Perfect," said Yuzaki, "until I finish the alloy this segment's going to be covered with the vibranium metal alloy, no one's going to break it that easily."


[OOC: What will happen later since some characters may jump to that part.]
Yuzaki's office was extremely large and actually looked like a meeting hall. It had statues in front of it but these seemed to be disguised security bots. Yuzaki stood in front of the door and a light scanned him from top to bottom and then a needle took a sample of his blood and a retina scan; 'DNA match confirmed, Yuzaki Kinjo, welcome back.' When they were in his office he sat in his desk and carefully opened the package, he could here voices emerging from the package but they were only heard by him, not even the spirits heard these voices. "No way," said Yuzaki as he took out the item that was in the package, "this was my mother's bracelet... At least my mother in my vision." He looked at the three other people in the room and looked back at the bracelet. "I hope you guys don't have plans for the night," said Yuzaki sternly, "because I think we're going to have a sleep over..."

Track jumped back as Yuzaki shouted at everyone telling them to shut up. Track stared at Yuzaki and began to talk. " Hey whats your problem mr grumpy. Geez dont be such a party pooper." As they began to make their way to Yuzakis office Track heard Yuzaki say that Suzume definitely wasnt his girlfriend. Track whispered to Yuzaki. "Whatever you say." Track then looked at Yuzakis two duel spirits. " Theres definitely something going on." Then the duel spirit known as Dark Valkyria started to introduce herself. " Oh so you tell you Yuzaki and not me huh." Track watched as Yuzaki had opened the package. Inside there was some sort of bracelet that Yuzaki said his vision mother was wearing. Track then realised that Yuzaki said that they were going to have a sleepover. " A sleepover huh. Ive been sleeping on the ground so long i cant even remember what a bed feels like. But anyway i was going to need somewhere to stay anyway." Track looked out of a nearby window. " Its going to get dark soon.."
Drew reavealed his face down card. " I activate my trap Mirror force to destroy all your attack position monsters. Drew was pretty confident that he could win the duel now. Although there was something he wasnt sure of. But he completly forgot about that.

Escher continued his bow for several seconds after Amathoz finished. "My only question," he stated, "is on the matter of where I might look to find my comrades! Although it's not as if they don't stand out..." However, as Escher finished this statement, he decided that, the two other servants he knew were around, Drew and 'Mr. Harlingdale', would not be hard to find. Perhaps he could even find that interesting person again! With a hurried "Never mind," Escher turned around, checked his Disc and cards, and walked out of the inner chamber, now searching the city to collect Amathoz's servants.
