Track took the gift after the duel spirit had told him it was alright to take it. Track took the present and shook it. He thought that it was good and wasnt anything dangerous. Track looked at it and said to himself. " Noone ever brings me a gift." He heard the duel spirit ask a question so Track decided to repeat the question seeing that this guy wasnt able to see or hear duel spirits. " Who sent you here and what what do you want with Yuzaki." Track waited for the man to answer.
Drew took out his deck from the case it was in. He shuffled his deck and placed it in his duel disk. He drew five cards as he was finished with his preperation for the duel. " Okay im gonna go first." Drew drew one more card making six in his hand. Drew looked through his hand. He took one card and placed it on the field. " I start off by summoning my Masked Dragon in attack mode." A red and white dragon appeared on the field. " Okay i play two face downs and end my turn." Drew thought to himself. "I wonder what kind of cards this guys use. He did say that he uses cards that ive never seen before. Either way i cant use the full power of my deck." Drew looked at Kai. " My names Drew. Nice to meet you Kai." Drew once again put ona fake a fake friendly smile.

Kai was oblivious to Drew's faux smile as he drew his 6 cards. He took the first of the cards he'd drawn and placed it on the Duel Disk. "I'll begin my turn by summoning my Digihuman Bandit, and this guy is extremely interesting in that he can't be affected by any spell or trap effects you control! Next, since I control the original, I can Special Summon the Digihuman Bandit's Decoy in defence position from my hand!" The second monster in his hand was placed in defence position, and the two holograms materialised between the players. The first wore a half-mask and green cloak, while the other looked like a life-sized toy version of the first monster. "And that's not all, by tributing 1 Digihuman I control - my Decoy in this case - I can Special Summon the level 8 Digihuman Cyborg from my hand!" Kai took the third card from his hand, leaving it at half its original size, and placed it in the place of the Decoy's card, which he sent into his graveyard. "And guess what? My cyborg protects all Digihumans from all Trap Cards - not that that effect doesn't have its own downsides, such as my own power-up traps being useless. And I am going to wipe the floor with you soon enough! My Cyborg will attack your Masked Dragon!" The weird-looking new monster, with three arms, each bearing a different tool, ran in the direction of the Masked Dragon, preparing to cut, slice and rip apart the opposing monster.

Drew watched as his opponent summoned three different monsters. Drew smiled as the most powerful monster Kai had on his side of his field came charging at Drews Masked Dragon. It destroyed masked dragon and Drew placed Maksed dragon in his graveyard. Drew pointed his finger at Kai. " Now that youve destroyed my Masked Dragon his effect kicks in. You see when hes destroyed i can special summon one dragon type monster with 1500 or less attack from my deck." Drew took his deck and got a card out of it. He shuffled his deck then placed the deck back in the slot. " And the monster i choose is my Totem Dragon in defence mode." Drew placed the Totem Dragon on the field. " Well carry on then." Drew gestured for Kai to acrry on with his turn.

Kai laughed, though there was no darkness to it. "I am a card designer, and it's rare I make mistakes about card effects, so I'm already aware of the benefits to your Totem Dragon; if you don't control any monsters in your standby phase while it's in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon it - provided there aren't any non-Dragons in your graveyard as well. Additionally, it can be used as 2 tributes for a Dragon, allowing you instant access to high-powered cards like the Blue-Eyes White Dragon or Tyrant Dragon. However, I have my own plans! I'll attack your monster with my Bandit!" The Bandit smiled at his master and whipped out his gun. He ran towards the dragon and took aim, before firing a strange bullet which trailed green rings behind it.

[[OOC: The following part is assuming you do not activate anything - not that you can with a monster unaffected by Spell and Trap effects, but just in case...]]
"Next, I'll activate this; my Soul Release spell card. Using it, I'll remove from play your Totem Dragon, rendering it useless for this turn. But that's not all, next I'll end by setting these last 2 cards!"

Drew smiled as he placed his Totem dragon was removed from play. " Good move. Your actually not half bad." Drew laughed making sure he kept up his friendly and kind act. " Alright i draw." Drew drew one card. " I activate my face down. Royal Decree. Just to make sure you dont try anything. Next i activate my face down Monster Reborn. Which as you know brings back my Masked dragon." Drew looked at his hand. He noticed that there was a card that he had just added to his deck. He thought to himself. " Okay this may not be a dragon like the rest my monsters but it can also help me out." Drew then began to speak out loud. " I activate the spell card Mage Power and equip it to my Masked dragon. Now masked dragon gains 500 attack for each spel and trp card i control. Okay now i summon my Armor Breaker in attack position. Now i activate his effect to equip it to my Masked dragon. Your gonna see its effect later. Now masked dragon attack his Digihuman Cyborg. Dont forget he gains 1500 attack because of my three spell and trap cards. Because my Armor Breaker counts as one."

Kai seemed all too happy to let the attack continue, but just before the strike was made by the dragon, he pressed a button on his duel disk to activate the face-down card. "hehe, I know Armor Breaker's effect; when equipped, it can destroy a card on the field when the equipped monster inflicts battle damage - which it won't! Activate face-down; Mystical Space Typhoon! I target your Mage Power!" The spell revealed itself in a typical fashion and a typhoon - weaker than the one Kai had felt in his duel against Escher, and therefore not 'real' - materialised and flew towards the equip spell, both of Kai's monsters jumped out of its way as it flew to destroy.

[[ooc: if nothing else chains to this, the following occurs:]]
The Digihuman Cyborg, now the more powerful monster in the battle, struck down the Masked Dragon in a single blow of its Buzzsaw arm. It laughed in a childish way before hopping back to its owner's side. "That's a whopping 1100 damage to you, my friend! NEVER underestimate a card maker!"

Escher handed the package to Track. "Now remember, that is actually to be given to Yuzaki. I don't know why I was told to give it first to you, but those were my orders." Escher was starting to become agitated; the guards would likely be returning down the halls soon. He heard the question asked by the boy. "My employer and my purpose with Yuzaki? In response to the former, lets just say that my employer is a former colleague of Yuzaki. They worked together a very, very long time ago. As for the latter, until I receive orders to the contrary, I have no interest in Yuzaki beyond telling you to give that to him." Escher turned and listened; the guards were getting closer.

"Yeah, yeah," said Yuzaki to Suzume, "I know we already have dueldisks but people are crazy for the Duel Runner; though I'm still not sure since it is still in an experimental stage." As Yuzaki got closer to the building he felt something call out to him and felt a sharp pain pierce his body. He lost control of the motorcycle for a moment but quickly regained it. "Sorry about that," said Yuzaki, "something happened to me but I'm fine now." The motorcycle went through a side entrance which was opened when a laser scanned the motorcycle's driver, Yuzaki, and said 'DNA match confirmed, Yuzaki Kinjo.' Yuzaki saw a lot of men running in one of the security camera monitors which were on the wall of his private parking.

"You were uncontrollable," said Amathoz as he used the power of his eye to put Seth in a sort of trance, "well now I'll make sure you stay in control." He noticed that Seth was not ready to leave and he mentioned that he had lost his immortality. "Your immortality," said Amathoz with a laugh, "oh that is so sad... Well you know what that means, don't die!" Amathoz closed his third eye and took a deep breath. "If you have anything more to say, then say it," said Amathoz back in a very threatening tone, "If not I believe you still have a job to do." Amathoz started to emit a very dark aura around him and the snake monsters started to emerge once more from his robes and dissolving into his skin and the floor.

As much as Seth wanted to resist, he soon fell to Amathoz's control. Not only had he gone into a trance, but now he seemed...limp, as though he had no control over himself at all. When Amathoz's eye shut, he seemed to return to a more lifelike state, but it was clear his will was severely restricted. That said, it did not prevent him from being confused. "M-Master Amathoz, it seems that it would be impossible for me to get the pendant around miss Suzume's neck now. I think we may have to find another strategy..." He suddenly recalled his first victim. "I suppose we could use him..." he said, clearly thinking about Kai and the rooftop duel, Seth's only real success while under Amathoz's control, even though it was not what he'd wanted.

A very long time ago? Dark Valkyria pondered these words. If Yuzaki Kinjo is still young, he would not have been able to do business with anyone more than a few years ago? Something connected to a past life? But then how would this 'employer' know enough about his past life, unless they are in some sort of cycle? It may be best to determine what Kinjo himself knows first - did that boy just shake that packet?
"Rule one of receiving unidentified packages: Do not shake them." she warned him, not bothering to adjust his voice since it seemed this person may have been aware she was there, but didn't seem to be able to hear her. "Even if it's not dangerous, if it is fragile it could be damaged."

"There's a market for these things?" Suzume cried in utter disbelief, and then gave up. If people were interested in owning a deathtrap whilst it was still a concept, there was no helping it. As they entered Yuzaki's building, she saw men running in a security feed. "So they didn't find this intruder yet then?" she guessed.

Drew watched as his Mage power was destroyed making Kais digihuman cyborg more powerful than his masked dragon. "Well then seeing that your a card designer you should know that my armour breaker is destroyed instead. Next I activate pot of greed so I draw two cards. Now I activate heavy storm. And lastly I play two face downs and end my turn." Drew waited for Kai to make his turn. He gestured for Kai to make a move.

Kai was slightly dismayed as he placed his facedown into his graveyard. "At least I didn't activate the realm..." He muttered. "Still, now the decree's gone, Traps are playable again! Draw!" He made drawing his next card as dramatic as possible. He twisted hsi head to view the only card in his hand. "Okay, here goes, I summon my Horned Digihuman Flairis to the Field, and now he's under ym cyborg's protection!" The cyborg's third arm moved over to the new monster, an odd fiend-like creature who had an orb of fire in its hand, and cut into it slightly, replacing various areas of its body with Trap-Resistant armour. "Okay, time to go on the offensive! My FLairis will attack first, go now, and destroy that Masked Dragon!" The odd new monster uttered a mantra which caused the fireball in its hand to grow larger, and it then threw it straight at the Masked Dragon.
Heh, with a resistance to Traps, he'd better have some good quickplay spells to counter this. I would tell him an awesome two-card combo, but I think that will have to wait until later.[/i[ He thought to himself, cheerily.

Escher's impatience grew as he watched the boy shake the package. Escher turned and ran, this time toward the last explosive device he had set. He pulled a remote from his bag, flicked the cover off the switch, then flipped it. A large explosion occurred in front of him, blowing a hole in the side of the building. "That wasn't nearly as much as I thought it would be. The building barely even shook! Unless... But that's impossible! Those guards couldn't have stopped for long enough to disable any of them! Whatever." There had been quite a large amount of guards chasing him, so some of them stopping was conceivable. No time to focus on that right now though. Escher ran towards the hole he had made; there were shards of glass on the floor in front of it. "Must have been some sort of ballistics-proof glass! Works better if the forces are coming from outside though!" he said to himself as he used his running start and flung himself bodily out of the hole towards the neighboring building.

Drew prepared himself as the giant fire ball came straight towards his masked. Drew smiled as one of his face downs flipped up. "I activate the spell card rush recklessly. As you know it will Increase my dragons attack by 700. Which means he now has 2100 attack points. Which is stronger than your flaris." drew smiled and laughed in a friendly way. Making sure to keep up his kind act and pretending to be kais friend.

Flairis comically attempted to stop his fireball, however it reflected off the dragon and hit him instead. Kai seemed impressed with his opponent, and smiled. "Well, not wanting to fall for another, similar trick, I think I'll end my turn here." He took Flairis from his duel disk and moved it to the graveyard. If I draw a Horned Digihuman next turn, I'll swarm him with Flairis' resuurection summon ability, and then I'll wipe him out. He's not a bad duelist, but it's difficult to go up against people who work on the game. I just wish Mr. Takahashi would make himself a deck... His thoughts trailed off in the direction of wanting to defeat the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh after he'd ended his turn.

Drew smiled as his monster was able to destroy his opponents monster. Drew drew one card as his turn began. "I draw." drew looked at the card in his hand for a second. "Okay I summon a second masked dragon in attack mode. And seeing that I can't do much else im going to have to end my turn." Drew was trying his best not to play to well in case this guy knows Yuzaki and tells him all of Drews strategies. But Drew also wanted not to make it too obvious so Kai doesn't get too suspicious.

[[OOC: Ranma...these posts are a bit short, aren't they? I'm just concerned about them.]

Kai rolled his eyes. "I thought you'd play something a bit more original." He said merrily. "My draw." He picked up the top card of his deck and viewed it. After little consideration, he played the card. "I will activate pot of greed to draw 2 more cards..." He drew two more and processed what he'd do next in his mind. Then he laughed. he couldn't help it. This was too perfect, even for him. "Allow me to show you the tre extent of the Digihuman's powers! First, I summon my Horned Digihuman Flairis bac from the grave with the assistance of Monster Reborn in my hand! Next, I will tribute all THREE of my monsters to summon the Digihuman equivalent of the God Cards!" Each of the three monsters resisted slightly, but turned into three rings which surrounded a golden throne. It was clear whoever this next Digihuman was they were not allies. A flash of white light struck the field like lightning, and a strange female Digihuman stood before the throne. She was dressed in pink all over, even the metal pates on her legs were a shade of pink. On her head was a large Crown, befitting of an empress. The Digihuman sat on the throne and smiled. Oddly, she introduced herself rather than letting her summoner state her name. She spoke with a cold voice which could send shivers down anyone's necks.
"I am the Digihuman Empress - Arkeina of Creatorcia. I am one of the three leaders of the Creatorcian Empire whom the Digihuman subjects fear...now taste my wrath!" She clicked the fingers on her right hand and one of the rings behind her throne dislodged itself and was flung directly at Drew. Kai then explained.
"If you don't control a Digihuman Monster, Crystite Monster or Hax Monster, this empress has the power to attack directly, with 2500 attack points!" He didn't like to mention it, but despite the card text including "Hax" Monsters, he'd not yet made them, and there were only 3 Crystite monsters, sicne there wasn't much story behind them. He'd actually decided he wouldn't take the two emperesses and one emperor out of the holographic testing area, but they were still with their downsides - such as Arkeina's mediocre strength, which is laughable compared to the other two.

Drew allowed the attack to hit him. Drew pretended to be slightly upset with the monster launching a direct attack on his life points. Drew then once again pretending laughed off the attack. Then in his friendly and kind voice Drew said to Kai. "Your a pretty good duelist. And being a card designer must really make you one heck of a duelist. This is a new deck of mine so I'm just testing it out. And of all people I could of chosen to duel I chose a card designer." Drew then had an idea. He thought to himself. "Sure I've improved my deck but what I really need are cards that noones ever seen before that way I can become even more powerful and people won't be able to counter my strategies." Drew looked at Kai and spoke out loud. "Hey seeing that you design cards how about after we finish this duel you can design some cards for my dragon deck."

"That sounds quite cool, though I would have to check with my superiors - we can't just make any card we want, you know. Anyway..." The Empress announced exactly what Kai was about to do.
"I need to use other Digihumans as a Shield, and the Empire gives me plenty of servants to use that are level 4 or lower in order to protect me. I think it's time I called upon the level 3 Digihuman of the Opera - Lead Actor from my master's Deck!" Kai took the card from his deck, which had been ejected from the rest. He summoned it, when another card was ejected, which he also summoned.
"When the Lead Actor is summoned, I am allowed to special summon his level 3 supporting actress from my hand or Deck as well." Drew heard that Kai would have to check with superior first before he was able to make any new cards. Drew was still happy with that as it ment that he was one step closer to building an even stronger deck. Drew thought to himself. "Okay thats a start. Soon I'm gonna be using a brand new deck with cards that no one had ever seen before. That includes Yuzaki. Which means I'm soon going to be able to defeat him and his pathetic friends." Drew once again looked at Kai. After Kai had finished his turn Drew took one card from his deck and held it in his hand. "I will now summon my spear dragon. And as you know when he attacks a defence position monster the damage is dealt to your life points. So now I'll activate my face down shrink to half your empresses attack. So masked dragon attack his actress next spear dragon dragon attack his lead actor. Which just leaves my last masked dragon to attack your empress."

Kai's eyes widened, not only in shock, but in happiness. Barely an hour after he'd been freed from the darkness he was having the best duel of his life. Sure he wasn't doing too well, but it was really enoyable. All of his monsters weren't too pleased, though, as they shattered into pieces as they were struck. "Not bad, Drew. Not bad at all. Of course, now there was really only one card that might help him, and even then it wouldn't give him much of an advantage. "Well, let's see...I take 1700 damage from Spear Dragon, plus 150 from my emperess being lost...hm. Not too good for me." He laughed nervously, but was evidently still determined to win.

And when Kai gets me those cards that he is going to make then I'll be one of the most powerful duelists ever." Drew pointed at Kai. "Okay, alot rides on this next card..." Kai winced as he drew. He'd already used up his pot of greed and Monster Reborns, so it was unlikely he'd get that again. However, when he viewed the card he seemed happy. In hindsight, since he played by no list whatsoever it would have been better to add more Pot of Greeds, but he hadn't and probably wouldn't. 2 Monster Reborns was pushing it anyway. As he viewed the card, he sighed with relief. "Okay, I set one card and end my turn there. That's all I can do...but I'm not too worried unless you have some kind of God Card." He thought for a moment. "THough, since this ISN'T the anime world, they aren't exactly rare. I've dueled so many Obelisks and Wicked Avatars I've considered them almost common."

Drew listened to what his opponent Kai had to say about the Egyptian god cards. Drew stared at him as he seemed happy at the card he drew and the fact that he said that unless Drew had some sort of god card then he wasn't to worried made Drew and laugh. He also heard Kai say that the god cards were common to him. "Is that what you think huh. Well have you ever faced the original. Or haven't you heard the story. I'm sure since your a card designer you've heard about how the three top duelist got the first three egyptian god cards. Well I'm one of them." Drew drew one card. "Okay I activate my spell card reckless greed which allows me to draw two cards." Drew smiled at the cards he drew. "First I activate my last pot of greed. Next I will sacrifice all three of my dragons so that I can call upon the strength of the Egyptian god card. Slifer the sky dragon. How does this Egyptian god look to you. Seeing that it's the first ever slifer it must seem kind of different right. Well anyway he gains attack points equal to the amount of cards in my hand times 1000. Giving him 2000 attack points. But I bet you already knew that. Now slifer strike down his life points." Drew began to think to himself. "Sure it may not defeat him but it will certainly do some damage."

Kai stood in amazement. "Ac-Actually I'd never heard about that...I only knew of the ones we released in Shonen Jump and the Gold Series...WHOA!" He was astounded to see the one God Card he was not aware to have been made legal. There are some things even he's not been told. Its Attack was nothing special, so he let it continue. "Argh...oh, and Reckless is a trap card." He felt a need to correct his opponent. "Is that all you've got? Cause with only 2000 attack points and no draw phases for two turns, Slifer is in a bit of a pickle. What's its effect? I know Obelisk and Ra's - but I'm asking since Ra in particular had a very adjusted effect. I want to know if Slifer's is, too." He was genuinely intrigued to see a Slifer with normal effect monster boundries on the card.
