'Vestal' is another name for a priestess from Latin. "Bakugan" had nothing to do with it.
ragnarok1945
The short-lived Normal Direct Damage Decks from a few years ago. This is more a case of revitalising those Decks. Two examples: If you control "Pristine Vestal". Summon "Atlantean Pikeman" (1400 ATK). Activate "Thousand Energy". (ATK: 1400 -> 2400) Equip "United We Stand" or similar. (ATK: 2400 -> 4000) Use "Pristine Vestal" to allow "Atlantean Pikeman" to attack directly. or Summon "Oppressed People" (400 ATK). Activate "Thousand Energy", "Triangle Power" and "United We Stand". (ATK: 400 -> 1400 -> 3400 -> 5000) Use "Pristine Vestal" to allow it to attack directly. Decks that would use this as their tactical trump rely on keeping their Levels low, but their ATK unnaturally high through Equips and ATK-reducing cards aimed at the opponent. They also have access to the vast array of Normal Monster support that appeared in the "GX" era.
I did factor in the United We Stand equip, Max But I just don't know how popular that card still is anymore
Max Darkness
I did factor in the United We Stand equip, Max But I just don't know how popular that card still is anymore
It became Unlimited in the last ban-list and thus became a key card for any beatdown-based Deck ("Morphtronics", "Batterymen", "Archfiends"). Lexadin
Well I already saw this but. I must say it's not bad. With cards like "Atlantean Pikeman" and "Clown Zombie" (or was that Lvl 3) the direct attacks can be quite enoying and painfull. And with something like "Spirit Barrier" and "Non-Spellcasting Area" you can also eliminate most, if not all, treats. I do see potential in these 'non-Effect' Effect Monsters. A 8.8/
