Manjoume Thunder Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 It can't really protect your weaker monster because Tengu exists and the battlephase just happens to be after that lollibrarian phase so it can't disrupt most plays. Black W Mage Posted July 16, 2011 Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 you know, D Prison works its best in a simplified game state where the battle phase becomes the main point of action. its most of the lv5 or highers, like Librarian, that create this main phase focus. by removing the ability of summoning lv5s or bigger monsters in general, the game state becomes a lot more simplified, and D Prison works a lot better. With this becoming easy access to most decks, the idea of having to worry about +0 or even +1 synchros forming at any moment while your D Prison becomes less and less significant becomes a much weaker force.
