[LOCK]Post count differential

So in my actual profile I've got about 990 posts, but when you're looking through a thread it says like 80 less. I want to become a 5 star member by reaching 1000 posts, so does this go by the posts it shows in the forum or in my profile?

The posts on the forum determine your level. You have so many on your profile probably because you spam the game section, where posts aren't counted.

Wait a minute, you mean the post count right under your avi on the board? I was thinking about when you go to your profile and look there. Stars are figured from the posts under your avi and member title.

I jumped to conclusions because I thought the difference between the two counts was because of posts you made in the game section, where everything can be considered spam. I apologize.
