These are cards I made for a new Archetype I made, Horrid Beasts. Mainly Beast-type with Beast Warrior and Winged Beast-Type Synchros and Xyz. The focus is removing from play Horrid monsters to activate effects and power up monsters. They're all level 4 DARK monsters with level 8 Synchros and Rank 4 Xyz(obviously). The Tuners can only Synchro Summon Horrid Synchro monsters. I tried to make them as balanced as possible, but the Archetype is still a work in progress, so I'm open to any and all criticisms/comments.

[spoiler='Monsters(Lv 4 DARK)']Horrid Bear
Beast 2200/0 Effect
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by its own effect. You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control 2 face-up "Horrid" cards on the field, except "Horrid Bear".

Horrid Cheetah
Beast 1600/1200 Effect
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Horrid" monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position.

Horrid Fox
Beast 1500/600 Tuner
You can remove from play this face-up card to negate the activation of a Trap Card and destroy it. Special Summon this removed from play monster to the field in face-up Defense Position during your second Standby Phase after this card's activation. This card cannot be used as Synchro Material on the turn it is Special Summoned. This card can only be used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a "Horrid" monster.

Horrid Hound
Beast 800/400 Effect
This card may attack your opponent directly. When this card inflicts damage to your opponent by a Direct Attack, you can remove from play 1 monster from each players graveyard.

Horrid Jaguar
Beast 600/1600 Tuner
While this card is in face-up Attack Position "Horrid" monsters you control gain 100 ATK for every removed from play "Horrid" monster. This card can only be used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a "Horrid" monster.

Horrid Lion
Beast 1800/200 Effect
If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, except from a Direct Attack, this card can attack once again. You can only gain this effect once per turn.

Horrid Panther
Beast ?/200 Effect
This card's ATK is equal to the total number of removed from play "Horrid" monsters x 400.

Horrid Tiger
Beast 1900/300 Effect
When this card is removed from play Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position.

Horrid Warwolf
Beast 1600/100 Effect
Once per turn you can remove from play 1 "Horrid" monster from your graveyard to increase this monster's ATK by 400 points until the End Phase of this turn.

Horrid Werewolf
Beast 1800/100 Effect
Once per turn you can remove from play 1 face-up "Horrid" monster on your side of the field to increase this monster's ATK by 600 points until the End Phase of this turn.

Horrid Wolf
Beast 1100/0 Tuner
When this card is Normal Summoned you can Special Summon 1 "Horrid" monster from your Deck in Defense Position except "Horrid Wolf", its effect is negated and is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn. This card can only be used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a "Horrid" monster.

Horrid Wolf Spirit
Beast 0/0 Tuner
This card's name is treated as "Horrid Wolf" while it is face-up on the field. You can Special Summon this card from your graveyard by removing from play 1 "Horrid" monster in your graveyard. If this card was Special Summoned, remove it from play when it is removed from the field. This card can only be used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon of a "Horrid" monster. Each player can only use the effect of "Horrid Wolf Spirit" once per Duel.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Synchros(Lv 8 DARK)']Horrid Centaur
Beast-Warrior 2800/500 Effect
1 "Horrid" Tuner + 1 non-Tuner "Horrid" monster
This card loses 200 ATK points for every "Horrid" monster in your graveyard. You can return any number of your removed from play "Horrid" monsters to your graveyard to destroy Set Spell or Trap cards on your opponent's side of the field equal to the number of returned monsters.

Horrid Griffin
Winged Beast 2500/2000 Effect
1 "Horrid" Tuner + 1 non-Tuner "Horrid" monster
Activate this effect by removing from play 1 "Horrid" monster in your graveyard. Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monster(s).

Horrid Minotaur
Beast-Warrior ?/0 Effect
1 "Horrid" Tuner + 1 non-Tuner "Horrid" monster
This monster's ATK is equal to the combined ATK of the monsters used to Synchro Summon this card.

Horrid Pegasus
Winged Beast 100/100 Effect
1 "Horrid" Tuner + 1 non-Tuner "Horrid" monster
This card's level is treated as 4 while face-up on the field. If this card is used as Synchro Material for the Synchro Summon of a "Horrid" monster destroy all of your opponent's monsters. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect.

Horrid Shadow Wolf
Beast-Warrior 2100/300 Effect
"Horrid Wolf" + 1 non-Tuner "Horrid" monster
This card gains 400 ATK points for every removed from play "Horrid" monster.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Xyz Monsters(Rank 4 DARK)']Horrid Siren
Winged Beast 2000/1000 Effect
2 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to send 1 Horrid monster from your deck to the graveyard or remove from play 1 "Horrid" monster in your graveyard. If this card has no Xyz Materials attached to it remove it from play.

Horrid Phoenix
Winged Beast 2500/1500 Effect
3 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to add to your hand 1 of your removed from play "Horrid" monsters. If this card has no Xyz Material attached to it remove it from play.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Spells']Horrid Call
Normal
Add 1 "Horrid" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Horrid Capture
Quick-Play
Discard 1 "Horrid" card from your hand and take control of 1 of your opponents monsters until the End Phase of this turn, that monster cannot attack.

Horrid Jungle
Field
Face-up "Horrid" monsters your control cannot be destroyed by card effects. When a "Horrid" monster you control is destroyed by battle you can discard 2 cards or pay 2000 Life Points to add 1 "Horrid" monster from your deck to your hand or destroy 1 of your opponent's face-up monster(s).

Horrid Moon
Equip
Equip only to a "Horrid" "wolf" monster. All increases and decreases in the equipped monster's ATK and DEF are doubled. Destroy this card during your second Standby Phase after this cards activation.

Horrid Rage
Equip
Equip only to a "Horrid" monster. That monster gains 200 Atk points for every removed from play "Horrid" monster. Destroy this card during your third End Phase after this card's activation.

Horrid Release
Continuous
When a "Horrid" monster you control is destroyed by battle you can remove the destroyed monster from play to inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of its original ATK points. Pay 100 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If you do not, destroy this card.

Horrid Return
Normal
Select up to 4 of your removed from play "Horrid" monsters and send them to your graveyard. Inflict 200 points of damage to your opponent for every "Horrid" monster sent to the graveyard this way.

Horrid Trance
Equip
Equip only to a "Horrid" monster. Increase that monsters ATK and DEF by 300 points. Your opponent can only attack a monster equipped with this card.

Horrid Snare
Normal
Activate while you control a "Horrid" card(s) by paying 800 life points. Destroy all face up trap cards. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Traps']Horrid End
Normal
Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack against a "Horrid" monster. Destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls.

Horrid Pitfall
Normal
Activate only while you have a face-up "Horrid" card on the field. Negate the summon of 1 of your opponent's monster with 2000 or more ATK and destroy it.

Horrid Revenge
Counter
Pay 1500 Life Points to activate this card. Negate the effect of a Trap or Spell card or an Effect monsters effect that targets 1 face-up "Horrid" card on the field and destroy it, if the targeted "Horrid" card was a monster card increase that monster's ATK by 1000 points until the End Phase of this turn.

Horrid Roar
Counter
Activate when your opponent declares an attack against a "Horrid" monster, negate the attack and return your opponent's monster to the top of their deck. [/spoiler]

That's all I've got for now. Please don't hesitate to say if you think some cards are overpowered or underpowered.

These Horrid monsters are anything but Horrid. they are interestingly balanced in Attack and defense and effect wise....
While these cards do need Additional support but XYZ monsters are not your only Option.
And they seem semi balanced. i would suggest a creation of a Ritual monster to Fit with the Primal Theme.
If i were you i would make a few spells, traps and more monsters would that support this archetype but not be classified as "Horrid" monsters.
Just remember cards like gravity bind,Imperial Iron Wall would Cripple this deck.
