Oh hi.

Been reading this chronicalling thing, and I never realised anyone would actually, like, remember me...

But yeah, Hi, DarkChaotix, first mod of YCM, nice to meet you all.

Was a very small, quiet forum back in them days, not much to do. I had only recently just got broadband when I joined this forum, so I was just seeing what was around on the web at that time, instead of exploring it on my schools filtered internet...

Was 15 when I joined, then my birthday was like, 3 days after I joined, or something, so I was 16 when I was made a mod. I was also new to forums, so I had no experience in modding or anything. I had been on another forum before this one, but I rarely posted on it, and could only do so in school time, which is why my only remaining post, which I'm guessing has probably gone now, was filled with gramatical errors, and l33t speak.

But anyways, there are numerous reasons why I didnt stay around long on YCM. One being new to the internet, I didn't completely realise how important a mod's job actually is. Also, my father died earlier on that year, so I was kinda messed up from that, just doing odd things to pass the time, and YCM just happened to be one of those things to pass the time.

Anyways, I would love to post more, but it's 1:16 in the morning, and I don't feel to well...

I'm sure I'll be back though...

Is it really you? I mean, really?! This is a very intriguing occurrence! Well, first and foremost, welcome back!

Excuse me, it really is unexpected of you to emerge after all this time. I trust you understand who I am - the one who unintentionally stole your title of "YCM's First Moderator".

I thank you for taking the time to read my chronicle, and please note, my analysis of you was pure speculation, and I apologise for its seeming rudeness. Also, don't get my discussion of SuperSanji confused with that of your own - you had no reason to stay, as when you were around, it was just yourself and YCMaker. SuperSanji though, I criticise because I remember him - the whole process of writing this brought upon an odd feeling of nostalgia, and I believe that may have led me to rate SuperSanji harshly.

The way you came to be such a part of YCM reminds me a lot of myself. YCM was one of my first forums and I didn't have any moderation experience either. I understand many people's reasoning that using proper grammar isn't necessary, so please don't think much of my analysis there either (as it was hardly riddled with mistakes, just a notable few). I knew I needed to include you in the chronicle - your title simply made you a person of interest, but I had nothing else to write on than what I did.

I think you'll find your "only post" is still in existence. Just use the following link and you'll be in the thread (and can thus view the rest of the forum): http://z12.invisionfree.com/Yugioh_Card_Maker/index.php?showtopic=34

I've refrained from posting the link in the past, as I'm still quite nostalgic and overprotective about the forum, but you are a very large exception.

I will now be updating the chronicle (as you have registered, so you at least need to be added to the "former IF YCMers who have joined YCM.net", but I plan to update your section as well) and I may even make you the pioneer of the member profiles I planned (for this though, I would need to learn about what happened during those days when you were on YCM, plus a little General Knowledge).

Anyway, I don't know if you're still interested in Yu-Gi-Oh and/or planning on sticking around on this forum (I have long-since departed from full-activity), but either way, I am alerted by email whenever I get a PM or reply to this thread, so if you want to chat about anything, just use one of those avenues.

Cheers, Frunk.

As I will be unable to make such a long post as Frunk just did without writing it before, I will keep it short. Welcome back, DarkChaotix. The name's Umbra, and I'm the newest Moderator here on YCM, have been given the role of Fanfic/RP moderator about two months ago.
