hexcalibrate Posted July 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 actually i intend to make the spells and traps return the cards to your hand so you have a continous stream of monsters, and i've made the monsters so that they can be support in other kinds of decks E.g. iron ore tetsu can go in light sworns and chaos decks, and it's good for cards like raiza. Bahamut - Envoy of the End Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Hmm... interesting. Powerful early game with high attack power followed by a second, direct attack, and the way of bringing out that second monster is fair. I like the way they have 0 DEF. (EARTH version of 'Recurring Nightmare' is needed). Spell card regenaration is a powerful effect, look at 'Magical Stone Excavate' and it's cost. I'm guessing they'll be a key 'Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru style card that is the crux of the archtype correct. Unless you win fast with these I think they'd become very weak midgame, without hand replenishment and stronger monsters. Something is nagging me saying Iron Core's mill effect should be once per turn... it may just be me. Would need to see more support before judgement, this could go either way. But inventive none the less. (Although hell, simply making rock types is unusual here) Link to comment

duel tester Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 wow..... these are great!! i see a lot of potential of these Cards. from Koa'ki meru rock mash ups to Evil hero Gaia dark fusion material. these are adaptable but a big flaw most of your monsters will exhaust your hand and give you less of an advantage if you have more spells and traps. when making your spells and traps focus on this a search, recycle and summon engine in the form spells and a negate,destroy and Draw power in the form of traps. I would focus on removing your rock monsters from play and taking large life point damage as a drawback and a cost to some of your more powerful spell and trap cards. i will rate when you finish making your cards BTW may i make a addition to your Ore Archtype? Too much going on with Fusions/Synchros/and Xyz. Pick two out of three. Still think, although an effort has been made, there is still too much hand disadvantage. Smelting is ridiculous, gives your monster a second attack and isn't even an equipped revival card. But due to being limited to archtype it would probably get away with it, wrongly. Link to comment
