lugia61617
Alex. in case you're wondering, I'm waiting to see if you'll respond to PoG with Wisel's negating effect.
Wave_Sine
Escher doesn't care about you drawing extra cards; Pot of Greed could just be a ploy to use up the negating effect. Remember: Crazy and paranoid. Also, I was half expecting you to use the SS effect of the card you played; that probably would have made Wisel miss the timing (I think). lugia61617
Yup, and you guessed it. Also, T_T that was embarrassing since I'd just looked up Wisel when I typed that. But it's trie; I ended up thinking about Granel when typing its ATK. Also, I figured you'd play something like TT, so I figured it would be better not to use it's effect. Besides, I have something better planned...
lugia61617
Oh, BTW, I'm assuming that you look up my cards on my thread when I use them so you can check them up, right? Just to let you know why I haven't posted my CC's effects.
Wave_Sine
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. The main reason why my cards are in my posts is because I think it's good form, even if it's unnecessary due to my sig. Your cards are pretty powerful. And I saw that they apparently swarm rather well during Kai's duel with Seth. Doubling the field size may not have been the best strategy on Escher's part, but without prior knowledge of Kai's deck, he wouldn't have switched his deck to 2-Space stall. lugia61617
Well, if you recall, Seth's duel never actually led to Kai using more than 5 monsters - that only happened when Kai was killing the gansters. Oh, and sorry for my lack of response just now - I was AFK. Oh, how should we decide what the roll is? I don't want to seem biased.
Wave_Sine
I'm not sure how the roll should be determined. I don't really have a d6 handy at the moment. I'm not entirely sure which would be better, Kai's monster living or dying. If it lives, things are (probably) harder on Escher, but if it's removed from the field, that might screw with Kai. What do you think?
lugia61617
I guess I'll use my Real world Die to determine it. *rolls* 4!
Wave_Sine
No prime number = nothing bad this time around! Various problems are probably going to occur for Escher now. This duel is actually pretty awesome: dueling inside of a cube inside of a cube of cubes inside of another dimension. That's insane.
lugia61617
While I'm calculating everything, be warned and read Digihuman Mummy's effect!Just so you know, I'll be using Tuin's effect to add Synchrotune Ring back to my hand during your standby phase, so you don't have to worry about interrupting your post for a reaction from me. Wave_Sine
Man, I was going to finish with Self-Destruct Button for the lulz, and then wonder how a draw would affect the whole Duat thing. Escher's going to throw Kai the pendant as the maze collapses, and then duck into Amathoz's temple. From 4-Space. I assume that Dark Kai will be more likely to wear the pendant? Kazekage dragon
I'm not sure, if you guys didn't specify or insinuate a Duat Challenge, shadow game, then neither loses their soul. For example, right now Yuzaki has the power to do what he pleases with Track's soul until he relinquishes possession of it. Since this did not seem like that sort of duel, considering it has not been authorized by Amathoz, Escher still has his soul. I'm still waiting for other members to post or at least respond to my messages. I know of Time Psyduck but Asersion, Reina, Dark Flashman, etc.??? lugia61617
That sonds about right - remember what happened with Seth? His soul was simply sligthtly unattached after losing his duel, which was just like Escher's.
Wave_Sine
So what would a draw mean in an actual Duat Challenge? Also, duel over, Escher's ready to receive orders. And Kai is free to dodge falling debris, which may or may not have killed random people in front of the City Hall.
Kazekage dragon
A draw in a Duat Challenge only causes both players to have their souls momentarily unattached as stated by Lugia; these are up for picking by anyone who knows. Basically both duelists end out walking a fine line between life and potential death. Right now the only way to fix this is through Amathoz but there might be a new way revealed later on. lugia61617
Hey, KD, are any of your posts inspired by Harry Potter? I can see some similarities between Amathoz and Voldemort in how you make him speak and describe his actions. I love it!
Kazekage dragon
Well Lugia thanks! Yeah I'm a big Harry Potter fan so maybe that filters in my posts as Amathoz a lot; though most of the snake like appearance and everything is based on the Egyptian god, and true main villain as revealed later on, Apophis because well... He's a snake! Yeah but I really do have some of my posts based on Voldemort's personality. At least the response is good, I was hoping to get a different response from anyone who noticed that. (you have to admit villains with that personality are much cooler than common villains) But like I said, Apophis is going to be the true villain since he is the one who gives Amathoz his powers. I don't know how everything will play out but it seems pretty cool up until now; it's going to have a little bit of everything I think.
lugia61617
Oh, in case you haven't realised; even though Kai is now Dark Kai, that's merely his morals and personality that's changed; he's not on Amathoz's side yet - mostly since he doesn't know who he is - and is quite anti-Escher, or would be if he knew who Escher was or even his name. Of course, the pendant is being worn again, and you know what that means.
Wave_Sine
Yeah, Escher was kind of a dick in the 4 turn duel, mocking Kai, using random warping crap to to taunt Kai, etc. Escher's someone you want to punch in the face, then miss, then get impaled by something. Also, if Kai runs into Escher again, different 'fun' will be in store. In 2-space. EDIT: Also, considering how much Escher spammed the word 'interesting' with Kai, it's only appropriate that Amathoz uses it to describe him. Kazekage, was that intentional? lugia61617
For some reason, your 2-space dimension thingie makes me imagine the duelists and monsters turn all cartoony and flat.

Kazekage, was that intentional?
I may include that word description when Amathoz finds out more about Kai and everything. What do you mean about what was intentional? Kind of lost me there. Also Lugia, remember that Drew has to speak to you before you attempt dueling Suzume; may be through cellphone or anything. EDIT: Didn't read Ranman's post completely, he already talked with Seth... My bad.
lugia61617
Lol, actually I hadn't noticed his post either. Oh, well. Doesn't matter too much. One way or another, Seth will duel Suzume and give her the same type of pendant as Kai.
Kazekage dragon
Well he just posted he is Harlingdale's assistant and is asking for Lucas as well... I'm not sure Yuzaki is going to pass both of his friends being called as a coincidence. This will be interesting.
Ranma124
Noone will suspect the strange guy wearing a mask who says he is Harlindales assistant of being evil or anything. But if Yuzaki goes with his friends then he's gonna see that his good old friend Drew is back. I'm sure he's gonna be very welcoming. Not.
Wave_Sine
For some reason, your 2-space dimension thingie makes me imagine the duelists and monsters turn all cartoony and flat.
That's actually what's going to happen except for the duelists ("It's so stuffy down there, who would want to duel while flat?") and certain monsters (Horus LV6).
I may include that word description when Amathoz finds out more about Kai and everything. What do you mean about what was intentional? Kind of lost me there.
When Escher first saw Kai, he described him, or at least the effect the pendant had, as 'interesting', and wanted Kai to 'be interesting again' (i.e. wear the pendant). Then when Dark Kai was 'fully realized', Escher said that he was 'interesting now', and at the end of the duel Kai would 'never not be interesting'. Escher's like Aporia, except with 'interesting' instead of 'despair'. That's why I thought that Amathoz saying Escher was 'interesting' was on purpose, due to the irony.
