Yu-Gi-Oh! The Ancient Prophecy (Not Accepting/Started)

Recommended Posts

Not anything that comes to mind, tbh. Though perhaps...perhaps Amathoz's plan works to some extent, sort of...having the world prepare for destruction, you know how it normally works in stories? (i.e; sacred beasts about to be played = cards go blank, in Ah My Goddess the ultimate destruction programme starts before the characters can stop it and fight head-on with it, etc). Then Yuzaki and the others have to work together to stop it, possibly in a way similar to the dark signer arc in that there are servants all over to city that would have to be defeated just to make the plan beatable, and then there could be the big fight between Amathoz and Yuzaki, using cards from each of the other prophecised duelists to show a bond of unity, like in "evil spirit of the ring". I know it sounds weird to suggest ideas from the anime but most of what we're doing shares similarities so I thought that might work.

Oh, and possibly a main character dies.

Ramna, a couple of things with your last post:
1) Don's assessment of Track's last turn was in his head, so Track couldn't have heard it. He could think Don was wondering about it, but not hear him.
2) Dust Tornado was used in Track's End Phase, to prevent his face-down ever being usable. Neos Alius wasn't summoned until Don's turn, meaning Security Orb would have to destroy one of Track's own monsters, since there are no others.

@Lugia Yeah I'm basically going to make it so the monsters start destroying the buildings and attacking people all over the world causing mass destruction. This is something that in the original YGO was seen in a vision but never made reality. Maybe Yuzaki will use the ace card of each of his allies in his final duel. If you think about it, every protagonist has ended up using cards from their friends: Yugi-Red Eyes, Judai-Rainbow Dragon, and then Yusei-Every frigging signer dragon. It would make sense but those would have to be their Ace cards and not their spirits since there are sometimes a difference between the two.

OT: Got back from Sneak Peek and got a Gagaga!!! Yay!!!

OT: WHAT?! I envy you. I can't attend sneakpeaks. They're too far away. On the plus side, G.Force is released on the 12th in the UK, but I can get them cheaper at the tournament I attend, which is the Saturday after next. Also, as good as Gagaga Magician is, I hate its inability to be used as Synchro Material.

BOT: I remember that...from the movie, right? That was a cool movie...well, that's what I used to think. Now I think it's total c*beep*p. I hate the whole "Obelisk-gets-infinite-attack" bs. Okay, that is straying a little bit...Anyway, I'm trying to force myself not to post too often so it takes more time for Seth to work. This entire RP day is lasting so long, even the sunset. Still, he's got some interesting stuff to do...killing security guards, seeing a giant rock, maybe stealing a precious artifact.

Also, what will be on the giant rock you said you may have to put in? Is Amathoz in it? I'm just wondering if any part of recorded history Seth may have missed involving Amathoz and Seth's old friends/rescuers whom were sacrificed?

OT: This was actually my first one; my friend got Leviathan Dragon Ghost... I think I'm making a wind up deck.

Well that part I remember seeing it in the movie but I think something similar was shown or hinted in the Battle City Arc. Maybe I will put in the fact that Amathoz betrayed the pharaonic guard by disobeying direct orders from the pharaoh such as executing Seth's friends as offerings to Apophis when the pharaoh had said to let them free and stuff like that.

Well Seth can notice it or something but the details of it considering the prophecy are when Yuzaki goes there. Maybe instead of the giant rock there is a smaller one on display at the entrance of the exhibit that speaks of the high priest that betrayed Egypt and his pharaoh, executing people even if the pharaoh said not to in order to make offerings to Apophis the enemy of Ra, the creator god. The images could show the giant bound snake and a picture of AMathoz killing Seth's friends. Something along those lines you tell me what you think. Then I can let the giant rock with the whole prophecy which appeared in Yuzaki's dream/nightmare for when Yuzaki goes there or maybe Amathoz.

OT: Yeah I like how they run, I used them for free dueling and they worked wonders!

I'm going to be less active again this week - I'm back in the house without internet, although it will get some within the next couple of weeks.

Also, what kind of sushi place is it - a traditional-style one, or a fast-food style one with the little plates on the conveyor belt? I was thinking of the latter, but it's your location.

Okay no problem, soon I'm going to put another mini-fight with Amathoz so Suzume won't NEED to be there depending if you have problems with the internet and such. Trust me I know the problem that causes so don't worry. :)

For the sushi place, I really don't mind either. Though traditional seems more likely. But it really doesn't matter. :)

I tried sushi once. Hate it. Now all my characters can't stand it or use chopsticks, even if they're japanese :/

And now, Seth has accidentally gone OTT and damaged a wall in the museum with his monster, which could attract unwanted attention. However, it's all part of the plan; it caused him to notice the Tut exhibit.

It's not so much problems as the phone line not going in until tomorrow, and then the broadband activates sometime in the following two weeks. I can get online via the university, but that's about 20 minutes each way, so I'm not likely to get there more than once a day.

I figured a fast-food style place would be more likely in the food area of a mall, where people would want a quick, easy meal, although now it's set as one of the restaurants a traditional one looks more fitting

@Time Psyduckm okay then it'll be like that. Just in case if my next post kkeps on going I'm trying to maintain action going in that scene since you are not going to be able to post at times.
@Lugia, I really don't like Sushi either, bot that I have tried it, but I don't like any type of fish except tuna so Yuzaki isn't really fond of Sushi as well but he's not going to eat anyway, he just wants Suzume to eat so they can talk. Considering Seth, I'm not sure how we'll play out the eventual confrontation between Seth and Amathoz. Also remember, it's not Amathoz commanding Apophis, he's working for Apophis. He may be commanding the snake like creatures given to him by Apophis.

Well it's not even considered a bump since I didn't post before but I just wanted to know I'd anyone had something to say. For the battle yeah these deities are basically only if you are completely loyal to one side but he can still fight with the monsters. :) Though it's going to be hard to actually destroy Amathoz's monsters because since they're in the Duat and he has the power of Apophis... But anyways just in case, monsters aren't destroyed in this type of duel because destroying them completely only happens if the life force of the opponent is completely depleted.

I'm sorry but right now I'm not going to be able to accept anymore apps because we are already making fast pace and can't risk any confusion by adding a completely different character. It's a good app I read it but for now I'm not going to be able to accept anymore characters. Thanks for your interest anyways! Hope you can maybe join in for the sequel! :)

And @Lugia you can also respond since basically you're one of the most active posters here and seem like a co-host if anything.

That's embarrassing me ^_^
I may seem "like" a co-host, but seriously, I'm not trying to be, or act like a host. You just weren't around to reply so I gave what I thought would most likely be the case...and by the looks of things I was right in this case. That said, I don't mind co-hosting, but I'd rather save that till a later RP.

Also...it's done. Seth is dead in body, but is dormant in mind. Kai is aware of the presence of someone else's thoughts, but not whose they are. By the morning these thoughts will be quiet and Seth will be...missing, so to speak. But if he's needed or sees a need to help someone with information regarding Amathoz and his side, Seth is likely to try taking over Kai. It's possible they may even develop a friendly relationship similar to that of Yugi and Atem...though tbh it's more like Bakura and Thief Bakura atm

I hope you don't take it wrong I don't mean to offend or disrespect just in case, quite the contrary what I mean is that you're the one that seems like a likely co-host. However if you want for the sequel you can be an official co-host :) It would be better and maybe the RP will be more organized since by then I'll have more experience.

Well I hope this fight was good although I believe it seemed too one-sided... Well now Seth is in Kai's pendant and it's finally night!
