Its a very good end of world type novel that involves Scribes and Editors. Scribes can write things into existence. Whatever they write goes. Editors are the police over the Scribes to make sure they don't get carried away. The main character Io, is a Editor and the best Editor around. She is a mix of Mexican and Asian. She gets a phone call along with everyone else in the world at the same time and each listener heard it at their native language

"what would you do if you had two weeks to live?"

A mysterious scribe is trying to end the world in a winter solstice to punish mankind. Its a great thriller and has good character builds, some twists and is different from most books.
