What would you do in a lucid dream?

I actually quite frequently lucid dream, and outside of all the mindless sex fantasies in this thread, I try using it for an actually legitimate purpose. I've practiced presentations, studied for oral tests, mentally prepared for sports tournaments, et cetera. It's actually a pretty nifty "ability" to have.

It'd be pretty awesome to be able to do that frequently. Heck, it would really help me out with my Forensics class.

Well, I have had some lucid dreams in which I controlled the actual dream and they were awesome! (floating up in the air, making a huge blast of energy that took out a bunch of blue zombies that were chasing me, etc.) If I were to have more frequent lucid dreams and be able to control them, I would... Do what I did before? I actually think about it now and really, I have no idea of what I would REALLY like to do in a lucid dream. So many options, yet none seem appealing to me... I guess I would just relax, try to solve real world problems in a more peaceful environment. Also, I might have a chat with my friends and family, which would just be my subconscious, in order to receive motivation and possible answers to questions that may be puzzling me at the moment.

i get lucid dreams alot, whenever it happens i get no control over the dream

Yeah, same here.

If I could though, I'd probably just screw around with physics and bend the city (like in Inception :D)

Lets see... I'd throw a few Cat Grenades... Invade other's dreams and make them messed up.... I'd ask my subconscious questions that only it could answer... Probably be a video bomber for Passion's Hentai... What else? xD OH! I'd taste the rainbow. And that's it for now. xD

I sometimes daydream, which I consider a form of lucid dreaming. So yeah.

Anyway, I'd make myself a half dragon, then fall in love with a hot guy and team up with him so we can fight baddies with our badass godly powers.
Then I'd have him get kidnapped so I have to save him and he falls in love with me an we-

Ehem.

Then we keep fighting bad guys. With Puss'n'Boots and Pokemon!

This hasn't happened YET.

But I have some pretty creepy dreams. It's bound to happen.

Hot air balloon to space, followed by sky diving.

I'm pretty sure it's extremely hard to sustain a dream where you are sky diving. I've had my fair share of lucid dreams, but never have I ever been able to dream about something that causes a huge rush of adrenaline. I never try going on roller coasters or the sorts in lucid dreams because once your brain processes the adrenaline, your dream quickly loses clarity and eventually crashes. I'm sure, if you can get it going, it'd be fun, though. A no-risk skydiving adventure. :O

I've done it a few times. I saw it on a Youtube video(do this while lucid dreaming or something like that). You take the hot air balloon to space, then can either picnic on the moon and look at the cosmos, or jump through the various layers then pull a parachute, drifting over luscious scenery.

You are probably better at sustaining high-adrenaline levels in dreams, then. I'm terrible at that. When I first started, flying was an obstacle for me to overcome. But hell, it slowly grows on you. I wouldn't say I'm super advanced at lucid dreaming, but the level of experience that I'm at works for me, and I gain new knowledge every time I do it. What sucks is that I can no longer have normal, non-lucid dreams. It's kind of like Inception; I've lost my ability to dream "naturally". :/

Yeah, you slowly push the boundary every dream, getting better along the way. People do it and different rates though, and if you try something that violently breaks your dream you'll have to go through sleep paralysis.

Which is, as evidenced by every single culture's depiction of it, a b****. Alien abductions, salem witch hysteria, supernatural attacks, etc. all originate from this.

And slightly obvious fun fact, but Inception was based on lucid dreaming.

Usually if my dream breaks I just don't dream for the rest of the night. None of that other crazy stuff. But I guess that's attributed to the fact that my subconscious can't produce dreams by itself that well anymore.

Slightly obvious? I thought that was well-known.

Update: Last night, I flew. thats right I f***ing flew. I'm so proud of myself, not being bound by laws of physics is so awesome :D as for all you f**s on about doing s*** in lucid dreams, you realised that a lucid dream is like an OOBE, its not a dream which you control, Inception has the right idea ,there is no physics.
