But my foolish evil brother wielding a giant ego stepped forth to oppose him. Before the avatar's destiny was complete, I tore open a hole in Ba Sing Se and saved it from destruction, where my legacy is left! Now, my brother has been beaten by the child, and bright is the future that has risen..."[/i][color="#FFFFFF"]It had to be done. I had no choice.[/color][/center] 200 years have passed since the end of the war, where Avatar Aang had saved the planet from it's destruction at the hands of Fire Lord Ozai. Having gained strength from their friends and discipline from their experiences, Avatar Aang and the new Fire Lord Zuko have united to resurrect the fallen, war-torn wold and lead it on the path to salvation. In this time, the nations of the world have finally attained long awaited times of peace and prosperity. It seems as though the world itself has been healed. Before the end of his days, Aang had thought on the role of the Avatar and how his role affected so many lives. One person alone was supposed to save the world, but in reality, it was the culmination of many different individuals which truly saved it. Another recollection was his conversation with Guru Pathik: [i]"The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation. Things you think are separate and different are actually one and the same. Like the four nations. Yes. We are all one people, but we live as if divided. We're all connected. Everything is connected. That's right. Even the separation of the four elements is an illusion. If you open your mind, you will see that all the elements are one. Four parts of the same whole."[/i] This ideology gave rise to another, which Aang steadily made reality. After years of guidance and hard labor, Aang was successful in teaching the first person of a new era: a Dualbender. As the names implies, with enough skill and training that would also later be passed down through genetics, a normal bender could become capable of bending two different elements as opposed to one. With this, Aang had achieved the first step of his goal to bring about understanding and equality to the world. If people were able to discipline themselves with two different elements, they would also be able to discipline themselves with two different cultures. Everyone in the world would eventually come to accept one another and live in harmony without the need to place the burden upon a single person. This is not without consequences as the natural order dictates that if there are those who seek peace, there will be those who seek war to oppose them. Many people, some of whom are dualbenders, are still set in the ways of the old that were unable to accept their loses or want revenge that peace will not allow. To aid in Aang's dream becoming reality, other dualbenders continue to strive for uniting the world by using their unique talents and experiences. Gray, shaggy hair contrasts his normally obscured black eyes. He wears typical Water Tribe attire suited for warmer weather, with red trimmings as opposed to blue. A white undershirt is worn which has a thin hood that almost always covers his head and long, baggy sleeves completely cover his arms.With his undershirt obscuring his head and his arms swaying when he walks, he resembles a cartoonish ghost. Two water skins are at either side of his belt, which are normally heavy and sagging. Personality: Zhong likes to go with the flow, as it suits the nature of his element and fighting style. By keeping an easy-going composure and mellow attitude, his firebending is kept in check and his waterbending is smoother. Zhong will try to move past a situation and avoid mental conflict as it disturbs his natural peace. Because of this, he will often run away from his problems instead of facing them. In serious times, he will remain level-headed but focused on what needs to be done. Zhong has trouble talking to people he thinks aren't neutral-natured, which is often most. His often response to those people are to walk past them or ignore them. If he does want to talk to someone, he'll put his hood down but avoid eye contact. Bio: Zhong was born into the Water Tribe, residing in the South Pole. While in the smaller community, he was taught to respect the nature of world and not belittle someone for their beliefs. Never was he told that his mother was a firebender, nor that he was a dualbender. While visiting an Earth Kingdom city, he discovered a firebending teacher who likewise discovered Zhong's hidden firebending potential after an accidental use of it on a firework. He formally left his village at the age of 10 to practice his firebending skills, having gathered enough training with his waterbending from his village. After four years of hard work, his teacher decided to leave for another student and told Zhong to search the world on his own. Zhong began his travels through the Earth Kingdom in search of other dualbenders to befriend and spar with. Notes: Zhong tends to skip some words when talking with people. Since his elements are conflicting (one for swift attacks and the other for slow counters) he chooses to use continuous flowing movements to adapt to and counter his opponent before striking. He is attempting to combine his elements into a new form, but so far has only been able to produce steam.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Ming-Mei][b]Personal Info[/b] Username: Ekikin Name: Ming-Mei Gender/Age: Male/16 Nation: Earth Kingdom Alignment: Villain Hobby: None Appearance: Ming-Mei is a short, stout individual, standing about a head under the average teen. He has long black hair which continues down until his lower back, being parted in the front into to show his large forehead. Bushy eyebrows are seen atop harsh, hazel eyes and grimace expression. Ming-Mei wears a sleeveless brown tunic with green wristbands. His legs are clothed by brown baggy pants with a green obi and open sole shoes. Another notable accessory he wears is a black choker with a green horizontal stripe and broken chain on the front. Personality: Ming-Mei is a rude person, often scolding someone or something without reason. His anger is usually settled within a moment, but carried on with a harsh tone of voice. He doesn't face someone when they speak, and will make fun of their appearance if they bore him. When in the presence of a person with a strong body or will, he will begin to shiver and stutter while keeping his distance. If he is facing a firebender, he will discard his fears and attack them without hesitation. Bio: Ming-Mei was born into a family of slaves, being the youngest of two brothers. His family was enslaved by Fire Nations soldiers who kept prisoners of war secret from the world. After the Avatar had saved the world and befriended the new Fire Lord, Ming-Mei's family thought they had a chance for freedom. Instead, they remained isolated from the world and continued to live as slaves. Abused and forgotten, it was not until a random encounter with a passing dualbender party that his Ming-Mei and the other slaves were freed. Unfortunately, the scars of hatred were already burned into his heart. Ming-Mei had come to accept that the Avatar and his reincarnations had abandoned him and left him to suffer, while they went off to further their own selfish goals of peace. Battered and broken, he swore vengeance on the Avatar and all those who would ally with him. Notes: Ming-Mei will use 'stupidity' as the sole reason for his anger. [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): Ming-Mei has trained his body to be strong and defensive while maintaining speed and reflexes. Despite his stout nature, he can still manage to avoid untrained attacks and run at a normal pace. Though still in its infancy, Ming-Mei has begun to use the basics of the Seismic Sense. Weapon(s): Ming-Mei carries an iron hammer with him on his left side. Unusual in nature, the hammer has a fan-like fin atop the head and a short chain at the bottom. The hammer aids him in his earthbending while the fan-like fin aids his airbending. (Dual)Bending: Earth and Air. Ming-Mei has mastered his control over earth, being able to control earth, sand, crystal, and clay with ease. He prefers to use single powerful attacks that pierces the enemies defense. His airbending is quite lacking, only being able to create short powerful gusts of wind. This is because of his anger issues preventing the proper training mindset needed to perform the higher level techniques. His ultimate goal is to combine the two elements into creating crystals from any source of earth.[/spoiler][/spoiler] [spoiler=(Elemental Dragon) Izo Atlanta][b]Personal Info[/b] Username: Elemental Dragon Name: Izo Atlanta Gender: Male Age: 18 Nation: Water Tribes/ Fire Nation Alignment: Hero Hobby: Surfing, Diving, Swimming, Travelling. Appearance: Izo is a good looking young man with long brown hair which he is often flicking out of his eyes. His skin is tanned despite living in the cold northern water tribe. He has stunning navy blue eyes which contrasts his skin well. The colour of his eyes is solid, and it is all the same shade of navy blue. Izo stands at about 6'1, making him quite tall amongst other people. While in the water nation he will wear the normal blue over-coat, thick black boots and woolly trousers. However, when Izo travels, he will change his clothing to match the fashions of the nation he is in. Notably, he always wears a deep crimson travellers cloak with a hood when he is not in the water tribe. Personality: Izo is very relaxed and fun to be with. He's constantly joking around and living life to the full. This is where his love of travelling came from and all the wonders he sees inspire him to do more in his life. Even though he is relaxed and easy going, Izo is a generous and kind young man, never found in a bad mood. He looks at the positives, but also the negatives, so he can overcome them. He treats life like a challenge, with hurdles to jump, some larger than others. If one is too high, then keep trying until you succeed. Izo is also rather intelligent and dare say wise, in his own way. He clearly knows right from wrong and will stick to his beliefs. One of these beliefs is that friends are some of the most important things to him, and he'd do anything to help them. Overall, Izo is an easily likeable man with many friends and string beliefs. Bio: Izo's father is the leader of the Water Tribe, his mother is the Fire Lords sister. They were married and Izo was born in early July, much to the content of the water tribe for having an heir and also to the fire nation for having an heir, since the fire lord remained childless. From an early age, Izo was a skilled bender and quickly proved to be capable of naturally bending two elements. He was delighted, being a child after all, and went on to learn formal training at the age of 5. Even then, Izo beat all his tutors, using only water bending. Because of his fenomenal skill he became known worldwide. Izo made frequent trips to the fire nation and because of this usual traveling, Izo was inspired to see more. So, when he was 15, he went on various travels around the world, learning cultures, traditions and obviously participating in bending tournaments. While traveling, he met many friends and he helped those who were not as well off as him. This also made him known for his kindness and generosity. However, Izo still had much to learn. He was indeed a dual bender,able to control both elements and use it them a different style (fire bending in a water bending style etc.) He wanted to be able to use both at once, mastering Dual bending, so he began serious training around the world. He spent a lot of time away from home because of this, but he returns every so often. Notes: [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): Izo can bend water in the air around him, so he has almost unlimited source of water. However, this skill can often clash with his ability of fire, creating steam. He can also change the heat of his fire (change the colour). However, the heat affects him too. He would usually use blue fire. Weapon(s): Two swords which can ignite into wicked flames. (Dual)Bending: Water and Fire bending. He is also able to go further than that to bend electricity, blood, ice and plants and embarrassingly... steam. Izo is considered a master in both arts of bending, reason being he has fire nation and water tribe blood in him.[/spoiler] [spoiler=(Sarcapius) Taum Kaverta][b]Personal Info[/b] Username: Sarcapius Name: Taum Kaverta Gender/Age: Taum is of the male gender and is fourteen years old. Nation: Northern Water Tribe. Alignment: He simply does what he thinks is best for him and gathers any information he can get about the feuding sides. Basically, Neutral, though mostly on the Dualbender side. Hobby: He enjoys creating objects and weapons made of ice. He does this usually when he is bored and needs entertainment. He is still trying to perfect a sword made of ice that is indestructible and light. Appearance: Taum wheres a white silk shirt and a brown vest made of animal skin over the shirt. He wears black trousers. He wears brown leather boots and wears a black belt with a white buckle around his waist. Taum's skin is a slightly tanned peach color and has confident dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. His lips are a pale shade of red and his teeth are somewhat uneven and unorganized (there are no braces in the Avatar world, right?). Taum is somewhat slim. Personality: Taum is mostly a kind-hearted and mature adolescent, though sometimes he is just carefree and happy. He is mostly cautious, never doing anything reckless. Taum doesn't care for honour in battle or morality, though he doesn't do anything "immoral" or reckless, and he believes killing for no good reason is wrong. Taum enjoys peace and quiet most of the time, be it alone or hanging out with his friends, as long as there is quiet. He gets annoyed when someone is "stupid" at some point, like if a person does something without thinking or just IS stupid. Bio: Taum lives a normal life with his mother and father as an only child in the Northern Water Tribe. He uses his father's waterbending scrolls to learn how to waterbend, and from there he creates his own unique moves having to do with ice, and even icebending (which Taum is still working on). On his 13th birthday, Taum asked his dad to pay a blacksmith in the Earth Kingdom to make a short sword that was good for use in combat. He got the short sword made of the black metal 2 weeks later. Taum never felt like he was a good guy or a bad guy, so he decided to create his own Neutral group consisting only himself. He eavesdrops on people and even goes snooping around everywhere to gather information that could be important for the future. Notes: He has a vision of using his Waterbending to create clear ice that transfer light and energy from the sun and directs it in one compressed beam. He calls it "The Lightbending Theory". It could help with incinerating, exploding, disintegrating and blinding. He's still perfecting this as well as his sword. Most of the EXTRA powerful stuff about Taum will be perfected towards the end of the entire story. [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): Intelligence is high. He is pretty fast, his legs being well-built and muscular. Weapon(s)/Equipment: Short sword made of a strong, black metal. His complete ice sword will be better than his black metal sword, but he has yet to perfect it, as I said before. He also creates icicles to use as daggers, but prefers the use of his sword. Bending/Style: Taum is a Waterbender. He mostly uses his waterbending skills to perform ice moves, such as a shard storm or ice barrier. He can shoot ice beams and freeze a certain spot in a large pool of water, though that's pretty much all of the icebending moves he has mastered. Recently, he has been thinking about a move called "Ice Transfer", which is basically using physical contact to create ice inside of something and expand it, causing the object to be destroyed from the inside. He is VERY far from accomplishing this.[/spoiler] [spoiler=(ANBU) Kazuya and Kenshin] [spoiler=Kazuya][b]Personal Info[/b] Username: ANBU Name: Kazuya Gender/Age: Male/25 Nation: Fire Nation Alignment: Villain, can be reasoned with, Tries to stay friendly with Fire Nation Hobby: Shogi/'Generals Chess' [spoiler=Appearance:][img]http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/981/tekde12562.png[/img] Kazuya often wear black underclothing,under his Red and gold Jacket which is worn whenever he's out only wearing his cape when he has to move out of the city/Caldera. Kazuya has slightly messy black hair which comes over the edges of his face slightly with a strand coming down a short distance across his fringe. [/spoiler] Personality: Kazuya Is often silent around most others despite the city being the capital and full of nobles who he often ignores while moving however if they notice him he acts friendly so as to stay on good terms with the nobles of the Fire Nation trying to strengthen himself within it further then he already is. While away from Fire member people he often seems cold towards others not caring much for what is happening unless it is part of his revenge plans. He has currently also tried to get onto good terms with any air bender he has found in hopes of furthering his training faster with them. Bio: Kazuya was raised within the Fire Nation Capital, Caldera, His father dying as he reached the age of 11 while out on his own in earth bender country, having asked Fire Lord Zuko to care for Kazuya at least until he was old enough to do so himself, Kazuya preferring to stay alone during the first couple years after this though the anger at his father's death growing before he returned to talking and being more 'social' towards the others becoming friends with most of the noble families and Fire Lord Zuko within the next 5 years as he joined the Fire Nation's Army rising through the ranks quickly with his semi-mastery of Fire Bending before a couple others in the Army began to learn Water-bending as a Dual element Kazuya looking through old scrolls that remained from the Fire Nation under Fire Lord Ozai's rule that had been hidden amongst other objects in the fire nation most having been returned as more people would've learned air bending and Fire Lord Zuko/the Fire Nation most likely returning them to the avatar being from his original Bending Culture the only one left being the basic one Kazuya trained with looking at it and studying it for 3 days and nights without any effect before being able to cause the wind chimes to move on a windless night. He continued training with that up until he managed to move objects roughly the same weight as himself at 22 being a general In the Army still situated in Caldera training with men who were there his anger however having continued to be fueled through these years of training and as of such the more rage-like style of fire bending becoming more easily mastered than air bending. Kazuya has since trained with these and been able to combine them to increase temperatures in an area around him making himself more adapted to these temperatures by training at them and luring and tricking or inviting members of the army to join him and his cause for revenge on the other nation's for his father's death when out each of them wearing a black cape seemingly like a less glorified version of the one Kazuya himself wears when he leaves Calderra when they are outside in other nations or unclaimed territory. Kazuya has continued to make these men more loyal to his cause and been able to make a trustworthy group of 5 which he often has with him. Notes: Believes Earth Benders Killed His Father, never knew mother... [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): Highly Intelligent, Capable of producing quick tactics to make a fight where he is down one man even/fair or in his advantage Weapon(s)/Equipment: A Shortsword with small holes capable of storing liquid or gas substances inside (only a small-medium amount, able to be forced out by heating the inside causing it to rise out of the holes) (Dual)Bending/Style: Kazuya Has some limited ability in air bending able to move objects a short distance back being much more capable at his fire-bending part of his dualbending abilities capable of manipulating fire used enough to block other fire and add it mostly to his own. By combining these two elements he is able to increase the temperature of the air making liquids hotter and gases more likely to rise as well as capability of his opponents to become exhausted due to lack of water as the body would sweat from the heat this over long use would cause the body to suffer due to the amount of water in the human body needed, however as of yet Kazuya's ability to use such power is limited due to his semi-poor mastery of air bending which he is still training.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Kenshin][b]Personal Info[/b] Username: ANBU Name: Kenshin Gender/Age: Male/17 Nation: Earth Kingdom Alignment: hero-ish, more neutral preferring not to involve himself unless it poses a threat to himself or his nation/friends Hobby: Chess.. prefers trying to play while earth bending creating a lager board to play on [spoiler=Appearance:] [img]http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/1456/tek4e18ffe510f098783472.png[/img] Kenshin often wears a Green Tunic over Green pat with yellow markings on these green clothes. When not earth bending he often wears black gloves reducing physical contact with others though when earth bending he takes these off so he can use his hands to keep connected to the ground if needed.[/spoiler] Personality: Kenshin is usually laid back while in town walking around and often using his powers simply if needed, playing chess using his powers with other Earth Benders if he can and preferring this to simply playing the board game. When confronted Kenshin will usually start by blocking those who appear most powerful and attempting to take out any who fight him individually once they start to charge or attack. Bio: Kenshin was raised inside Ba Sing Se his parent having died and an earthquake while traveling in mountains an earth bender able to save Kenshin from the rocks before he was crushed. The earth bender then brought Kenshin as a young child into Ba Sing Se and had managed to convince a couple inside the city to look after him kenshin growing with this couple as his 'parents' having exhibited some talent in earth bending during his childhood and had trained earth bending between the outer and Middle walls in a more barren zone of the Agricultural land that lay there. He had since took up chess due to it's strategical nature even going so far to try playing such with earth bending not able to make a figure that didn't crumble that was his height until the age of 15. Having finished his training he had since began playing chess whilst earth bending trying to convince other earth benders who agreed to play with him to come to the 'Fighting Cliffs' to play using the white and red stone there to construct a large chess board they would both hold together and create pieces from this Rock, pieces crumbling when destroyed whether mashed by the other piece or simply crumbled by the one of either him or his opponent who was controlling it continuing trying to do such now at the age of 17 almost always in the land between the Middle wall and outer wall in the barren land in which he trained playing much smaller games of chess with small figures he made from earth to plan strategies. Notes: Prefers to sty near the white cliff side of the Fighting Cliffs either due to dislike of going second in chess or dislike of the red rock. [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): medium-high ability Seismic Sense, very low ability in metal bending (capable of detecting some of the earth particles in processed metals but takes much concentration and as of such costs him vital time) Weapon(s)/Equipment: none, Uses weapons he earth bends from the ground below if he plans to use any Bending/Style: Kenshin's powers are more focused towards controlling the earth being patient with most others and his opponents and waiting for openings, using earth sense to sense where they are if they are block from view, being so far his most developed ability. Kenshin has gone through full Earth bending training and as of such can manipulate the rocks easier this coupled with often trying to earth bend large games of chess with other earth benders increasing his skill with manipulation of earth/minerals, being capable of staying on a vertical wall horizontally holding it for roughly 10 seconds before his grip fails and he would fall being unskilled in projecting his abilities and projecting earth when in midair though able to do it in small amounts.[/spoiler][/spoiler] [spoiler=(Haze) Shimo] [b]Personal Info[/b] Username: Haze Name: Shimozukushichi Arinokashitakitoji (people call him Shimo) Gender/Age: Male, 20 Nation: Fire Alignment: Good Hobby: Loves playing the Japanese game Go Appearance:[spoiler= Appearance][IMG]http://i51.tinypic.com/2ugzdww.png[/IMG] Shimo wears traditional green Earth kingdom clothes. He wears no shoes to see with his feet. After hearing of the blind bandit Shimo wanted to try to see with his feet himself. His necklace is from his father back in the fire nation it is a sign of hope that one day all nation will be in peace again one day return to all of the nations. [/spoiler] Personality: Shimo is an outgoing loud young man. He has a huge temper and once he goes off in one of his rages there is no stopping him. He loves his friends and family more then himself. If something were between he and his friends Shimo will quickly take care of whatever is between them. Shimo is very hot-headed and stubborn. On of his greatest flaws is his pride. Shimo thinks he is the best dual bender there is. He has no problem challenging anyone to a fight. Shimo is very intelligent though, he is an excellent strategist and can get out of any situation when he is focused and serious. Bio: Shimo was born into a fire nation family. His parents are kind hearted people and love everything. When Shimo turned thirteen he started realizing how hostile the Fire benders were even though the war had been over for years. Shimo's father is a fire bender and Shimo was blessed to also be a fire bender. at age twelve Shimo's father started teaching him the basics of fire bending. While away from Fire member people he often seems cold towards others not caring much for what is happening unless it is part of his revenge plans. He has currently also tried to get onto good terms with any air bender he has found in hopes of furthering his training faster with them. Bio: Kazuya was raised within the Fire Nation Capital, Caldera, His father dying as he reached the age of 11 while out on his own in earth bender country, having asked Fire Lord Zuko to care for Kazuya at least until he was old enough to do so himself, Kazuya preferring to stay alone during the first couple years after this though the anger at his father's death growing before he returned to talking and being more 'social' towards the others becoming friends with most of the noble families and Fire Lord Zuko within the next 5 years as he joined the Fire Nation's Army rising through the ranks quickly with his semi-mastery of Fire Bending before a couple others in the Army egan to learn Water-bending as a Dual element Kazuya looking through old scrolls that remained from the Fire Nation under Fire Lord Ozai's rule that had been hidden amongst other objects in the fire nation most having been returned as more people would've learned air bending and Fire Lord Zuko/the Fire Nation most likely returning them to the avatar being from his original Bending Culture the only one left being the basic one Kazuya trained with looking at it and studying it for 3 days and nights without any effect before being able to cause the wind chimes to move on a windless night. He continued training with that up until he managed to move objects roughly the same weight as himself at 22 being a general In the Army still situated in Caldera training with men who were there his anger however having continued to be fueled through these years of training and as of such the more rage-like style of fire bending becoming more easily mastered than air bending. Kazuya has since trained with these and been able to combine them to increase temperatures in an area around him making himself more adapted to these temperatures by training at them and luring and tricking or inviting members of the army to join him and his cause for revenge on the other nation's for his father's death when out each of them wearing a black cape seemingly like a less glorified version of the one Kazuya himself wears when he leaves Calderra when they are outside in other nations or unclaimed territory. Kazuya has continued to make these men more loyal to his cause and been able to make a trustworthy group of 5 which he often has with him. When confronted Kenshin will usually start by blocking those who appear most powerful and attempting to take out any who fight him individually once they start to charge or attack. Bio: Kenshin was raised inside Ba Sing Se his parent having died and an earthquake while traveling in mountains an earth bender able to save Kenshin from the rocks before he was crushed. The earth bender then brought Kenshin as a young child into Ba Sing Se and had managed to convince a couple inside the city to look after him kenshin growing with this couple as his 'parents' having exhibited some talent in earth bending during his childhood and had trained earth bending between the outer and Middle walls in a more barren zone of the Agricultural land that lay there. He had since took up chess due to it's strategical nature even going so far to try playing such with earth bending not able to make a figure that didn't crumble that was his height until the age of 15. Having finished his training he had since began playing chess whilst earth bending trying to convince other earth benders who agreed to play with him to come to the 'Fighting Cliffs' to play using the white and red stone there to construct a large chess board they would both hold together and create pieces from this Rock, pieces crumbling when destroyed whether mashed by the other piece or simply crumbled by the one of either him or his opponent who was controlling it continuing trying to do such now at the age of 17 almost always in the land between the Middle wall and outer wall in the barren land in which he trained playing much smaller games of chess with small figures he made from earth to plan strategies. Appearance: Izo is a good looking young man with long brown hair which he is often flicking out of his eyes. His skin is tanned despite living in the cold northern water tribe. He has stunning navy blue eyes which contrasts his skin well. The colour of his eyes is solid, and it is all the same shade of navy blue. Izo stands at about 6'1, making him quite tall amongst other people. While in the water nation he will wear the normal blue over-coat, thick black boots and woolly trousers. However, when Izo travels, he will change his clothing to match the fashions of the nation he is in. Notably, he always wears a deep crimson travellers cloak with a hood when he is not in the water tribe. Personality: Izo is very relaxed and fun to be with. He's constantly joking around and living life to the full. This is where his love of travelling came from and all the wonders he sees inspire him to do more in his life. Even though he is relaxed and easy going, Izo is a generous and kind young man, never found in a bad mood. He looks at the positives, but also the negatives, so he can overcome them. He treats life like a challenge, with hurdles to jump, some larger than others. If one is too high, then keep trying until you succeed. [spoiler=Taum Kaverta] Username: Sarcapius Name: Taum Kaverta Gender/Age: Taum is of the male gender and is fourteen years old. Nation: Northern Water Tribe. Alignment: He simply does what he thinks is best for him and gathers any information he can get about the feuding sides. Basically, Neutral, though mostly on the Dualbender side. Hobby: He enjoys creating objects and weapons made of ice. He does this usually when he is bored and needs entertainment. He is still trying to perfect a sword made of ice that is indestructible and light. Appearance: Taum wheres a white silk shirt and a brown vest made of animal skin over the shirt. He wears black trousers. He wears brown leather boots and wears a black belt with a white buckle around his waist. Taum's skin is a slightly tanned peach color and has confident dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. His lips are a pale shade of red and his teeth are somewhat uneven and unorganized (there are no braces in the Avatar world, right?). Taum is somewhat slim. Personality: Taum is mostly a kind-hearted and mature adolescent, though sometimes he is just carefree and happy. He is mostly cautious, never doing anything reckless. Taum doesn't care for honour in battle or morality, though he doesn't do anything "immoral" or reckless, and he belives killing for no good reason is wrong. Taum enjoys peace and quiet most of the time, be it alone or hanging out with his friends, as long as there is quiet. He gets annoyed when someone is "stupid" at some point, like if a person does something without thinking or just IS stupid. Bio: Taum lives a normal life with his mother and father as an only child in the Northern Water Tribe. He uses his father's waterbending scrolls to learn how to waterbend, and from there he creates his own unique moves having to do with ice, and even icebending (which Taum is still working on). On his 13th birthday, Taum asked his dad to pay a blacksmith in the Earth Kingdom to make a short sword that was good for use in combat. He got the short sword made of the black metal 2 weeks later. Taum never felt like he was a good guy or a bad guy, so he decided to create his own Neutral group consisting only himself. He eavesdrops on people and even goes snooping around everywhere to gather information that could be important for the future. Notes: He has a vision of using his Waterbending to create clear ice that transfer light and energy from the sun and directs it in one compressed beam. He calls it "The Lightbending Theory". It could help with incinerating, exploding, disintiggrating and blinding. He's still perfecting this as well as his sword. Most of the EXTRA powerful stuff about Taum will be perfected towards the end of the entire story. Combat Info Ability(s): Intelligence is high. He is pretty fast, his legs being well-built and muscular. Weapon(s)/Equipment: Short sword made of a strong, black metal. Bending/Style: Taum is a Waterbender. He mostly uses his waterbending skills to perform ice moves, such as a shard storm or ice barrier. He can shoot ice beams and freeze a certain spot in a large pool of water, though that's pretty much all of the icebending moves he has mastered. Recently, he has been thinking about a move called "Ice Transfer", which is basically using physical contact to create ice inside of something and expand it, causing the object to be destroyed from the inside. ANBU Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 I just thought of something for my dual bender guy though just wanted to make sure it was allowed.. would My dualbender be able to be a general in the Fire Army with a small group of NPC-like followers? [/spoiler] Personality: Shimo is an outgoing loud young man. He has a huge temper and once he goes off in one of his rages there is no stopping him. He loves his friends and family more then himself. If something were between he and his friends Shimo will quickly take care of whatever is between them. Shimo is very hot-headed and stubborn. On of his greatest flaws is his pride. Shimo thinks he is the best dual bender there is. He has no problem challenging anyone to a fight. His parents are kind hearted people and love everything. When Shimo turned thirteen he started realizing how hostile the Fire benders were even though the war had been over for years. Shimo's father is a fire bender and Shimo was blessed to also be a fire bender. at age twelve Shimo's father started teaching him the basics of fire bending. Shimo left home at age 15 to practice fire bending and look for a suitable teacher. Before he left his father gave him his grandfather's necklace, Shimo's father told him: "Your great-grandfather believed in peace between the nations, keep this to remind you what is right in the end." From that day forward Shimo fioght for peace and equality. Shimo reached the Earth kingdom where he heard of dual bending. Believing in himself he sought out a dual bender teacher within the earth kingdom. He found Kuma, a middle aged Earth-water dual bender. Kuma taught Shimo basic Earth bending moves and strategies. Now being a Fire-Earth dual bender, Shimo fights for peace and equality among the nations. Notes: [b]Combat Info[/b] Ability(s): Shimo is a very intelligent individual. Believable goal of Aang after the war. [*]Adding Depth = Events after original finale going into previous events of the fanfic. [*]Driving Point of the Fanfic = Being a dualbender.[/list] After those came: [list][*]Hero/Villain Concept [*]Two Factions of the Plot (Unification supporters and anti-bender/unification supporters) [*]Leading Forces of Plot (None on either side)[/list] The Leading Forces (as in the ones who will actually move the overall plot forward) are what I'm having trouble with now. The core of the idea is set, but now I just need to work out exactly how to go about doing so. Until a better idea comes to me soon, I'm defaulting to Mr. NPC Antagonist #4; "I hate unity and dualbenders for the sole reason of hating unity and dualbenders." "Avatar Aang was a fool to the end!
