So who actually buys cards IRL?
i do, thankfully i'm a 20 minute bus ride away from my locals, so i have a reason to play IRL and i can buy cards regularly. because i'm mentally incapable of getting high paying job, so i recieve £50 a week from DLA :D (your on the internet, google it). my life is easy.

I still buy cards IRL, although they're limited to booster packs and starter decks (occasionally I buy Japanese cards if I happen to go to the card store; most of mine are Walmart/Target-bought). I don't buy singles because I don't have a big wallet (My parents aren't fond of me spending lots of $ on them).

As for playing, I do it for fun since I don't think Hawaii has regionals/locals (according to Konami's website), although I know they got a hobby league that's about 20-30 min from my area.

If they hosted the WCQ in Hawaii I'd go every year. =D

Walking down the isle that has a bunch of Power Ranger action figures (now matter how cool they may be) to grab an OUTDATED pack of cards, then get the weird eye from the employees and cashier isn't worth the 50 cents I would save.

Plus then I have a chance of getting nothing I want, and have a bunch of useless cardboard around my room. So I just grab my Debit Card and go to town. >:D

I just buy singles. Luckily for me, there's a shop in my town that sells not only boosters and whatnot, but singles as well. It's also a fairly popular place, and there's almost always someone else in the store when I'm there.
So, I don't really have to go online, though I'm about to expand my own business to YouTube.
