To celebrate my birthday, which is July 4th, I am hosting my first contest in about a year. Being a multiple time 1st place winner, as well as 2nd and 3rd, I know what it takes to bring out a fantastic contest card. This shall be a 3 Round contest, Red (or Pink), White, and Blue representation, with a total of 9 people competing. In the first two rounds, 3 people will be eliminated. The final round will have the final three will fight for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Hope you enjoy this contest! Also, donations are gladly accepted (on top of the fee) to make the prizes more interesting.

1. All YCM Rules apply

2. No cheating

3. Written cards are allowed (they have an altered rubric)

4. If you post or PM your card after the deadline, you are out (unless you have perfect excuse)

5. You have 1 chance to plead for me to change your rating (for the whole contest)

6. You can bring rulings of similar cards, but creativity might be hit

1st contestant gets in for free. All others must may a fee of 10 points.

Create a Trap Card that creatively supports or hampers Xyz monsters. It must support (or hamper) indirectly.

 

[spoiler=Round 2]

Create a luck based Ritual Monster, with Ritual Spell Card, that messes with your opponent. It cannot have anything to do with destruction.

 

[spoiler=Round 3]

Create a Synchro Monster, with a specific Tuner monster, that hampers Xyz monsters directly. Think of it as 3rd Generation vs 4th Generation.

Discard 1 monster and select a number of monsters you control. The selected monsters become the same Level who combined equals or is lower than the discarded monster's Level.

 

The OCG probably makes no sense here. If you don't understand how it's supposed to work, ask me to explain.

That is a Quick-Play Spell Card, while the requirements are:

 

Create a Trap Card that creatively supports or hampers Xyz monsters. It must support (or hamper) indirectly.

Tough call on that card. I cannot tell if it is Direct or Indirect. Eh, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Card accepted.

Ok, here's my entry, it's a written card

Continuous Trap Card

 

During either player Standby Phases, toss a coin: • Heads: Change the Level of all face-up monsters on the field to Rank until the End Phase of this turn. •Tails: Change the Rank of all face-up monsters on the field to Level until the End Phase of this Turn.

 

To make it simple, if it's Head, all face-up monsters on the field will have Rank instead of Level. If it's Tail, all face-up monsters on the field will have Level instead of Rank.

Ok, here's my entry, it's a written card (I'm just too lazy for making a template card :lol: )

Continuous Trap Card

 

Pay 2000 Life Points. Increase the Level of all face-up monsters on the field by 2. When this card leaves the field, you can select 1 Special Summoned monster on the field and send it to the Graveyard. This card cannot be banished.

 

 

By Template Card, I mean the standard YCM Card.

During each Main Phase place one counter on all face-up XYZ monsters. If a XYZ monster has the same amount of counters as it's rank, banish it. This card cannot be destroyed by a monster effect.

 

 

(Please tell me if there are OCG mistakes XD)
