Sena was surprised when the head chef snatched Alex away so suddenly. "Well that was...Strange." Sena said watching their retreating forms suspiciously. Sheheard a light scuffle behind the kitchen doors. Next thing she knew the chef was being kicked out of the kitchen and fell right onto a table, which just happened to have a candle on it. The candle was knocked over and the fire spread quickly. Sena was quickly on her feet and bega helping all of the pepl out. "Come on! This way people! Hurry it up!" The flames were quickly spreading. Sena felt like she was in a sauna. It was so hot, too hot. But she needed to make sure everyone got out. Vince then caught up to her saying they needed to leave, or do it her way. "Is everyone out!?" She yelled, coughing due to the smoke. She then remembered, "Alex! He ran into the kitchen! You get out before the exit is closed off!" She didn't give him time to answer and bolted towards the kitchen seconds before part of the eling caved in blocking the way she went. "Alex! Are you in here!?"

The chef ran towards the kitchen, but was knocked out. Alex had an array of chains and knives. The chef ran for the door, but a falling barrier blocked the door. He threw the chains, and they wrapped around his arms and legs. Then, Alex cracked a whip. He whipped the chef once, then again. He impaled the knives into his hands. Finally, he pulled out the last chain. "Which spot should this go? The heart, the neck..." He throws the chain. A gasp, and then nothing. Only the consuming fire crackled sounded the room. It was over. He breathed a sigh of relief, and got out of the room. He walked to Sena. "Call me the Chef."

Vince saw the resturant be consumed by the flames as he helped everyone evacuate, apart from Sena and Alex. 'Is everyone safe?' He asked, which replied to a woman who's baby was crying. Vince gave him the ruby he purchased, and it topped crying, amused by the shine of the gem. 'Ms Sena! Where are you!?' Vince roared into the burning building. Then he turned to the villagers. 'Water! Quickly!' The people picked up pots and pans, buckets and baskets, anything to bring water. Vince took out his brush, and with a mysterious glow he created an elephant of paint which sprayed water all over the building. However, the flames were still burning and the heat dried out the elephant, turining it into dust. 'No...I'm going in!' He said as he dashed in, mask on. He found the two in the kitchen. 'Come on, now! This place wi-' *crash* Some of the roof collapsed onto Vince, rendering him ironically incapacitated.

Alex looked at Vince. "Lemme help you out." He dashed around, pushing the rubble off Vince. He put Sena on his back, and with the bodies of the unconscious Vince and the deceased Chef, he dashed out just before the place was permanently closed by a falling girder. He set down Sena first, then Vince, and he lobs the Chef on the ground. "Your going to get what you deserve... Even after death, b******." He spat in his face, and sighed. "I presume, I am member number 3 on the team?" He smiles at Sena. "The true story was I was trained by my parents. He killed them when they wouldn't turn me over. Seastone was put on me daily. He was gonna kill me tonight. But I got to him first. Now, i'm a member of your crew."

It all happened so fast for Sena. One minute she was running in to help Alex, then Vince was being crushed and then Alx was getting them all out. She was useless. She was supposed to be the captain but she couldn't even save Vince who was her crew mate. She shook her head and put a smile on her face. She would have to think about this later. Just think on the positives. "Yep! You are. Though I feel bad about the burned down building, but I suppose he deserved it..." Sena said looking at the now dead Chef. The firefighters came and slowly the fire was brought under control. "I just realized....We need a boat with a kitchen!"

While Vince was unconcious he had a dream...
...
...
...
..'Now Vince, as you know as a mother I do care for my daughter very much.'
'Of course, it comes naturally.'
'My methods may not always be conventional, but she's all I have in this world...I couldn't bare her to come to any harm, it'd tear my heart asunder.'
'Yes, my lady.'
'I have given you a home, a warm bed and food to your heart's content. And in return you gave my daughter a very trustworthy friend. It is time I ask you something.'
'Of course, m'lady. My life has shaped because of you, and I owe you my eternal gratitude and my word is yours if you so wish for it.'
'I'm most glad to hear that. As you know, a mother couldn't bear herself outliving her child, her only child.'
'Yes.'
'And at my age, another is unlikely.'
'Indeed.'
'So I ask you, to swear you'll protect my beautiful Sena with your very best of abilities. To swear you'll risk your life to save her's. To swear that you shall be her guardian, her protector.'
'I swear on my soul.'
'And swear, you shall never put her in harm, to never lay a single hand of violence on her, to be the father she never had.'
'!!!...the fathe-'
'Yes, I want you to treat her as if she was your own.'
'...yes, I shall swear to treat her as my own daughter, to protect her and help her become a woman you'd be proud of.'
'Thank you. Now, you may rest in your room if you wish.'
'Thank you, m'lady.'..
...
...
...
Vince woke up, and saw Alex outside and Sena safe from harm. But he felt ashamed, he hadn't protected her child. He broke his promise. 'I'm sorry, Rosalind...' he said faintly as he fainted.

"He was a Highly Respected Marine Chef, and it was perfectly legal for him to have slaves. He must have money." He strips the chef clean of a bunch of Beri. "Here. But we could build your old boat into the new one, since we aren't notorius past the Marines. You were just Customers. I killed him. Let's just burn the body into nothing. I'll use his clothing, possibly, and you can use the money to buy the ship. One of the reasons: I got to keep change from when I bought items." He pulls out a smaller amount of Beri. "This is all I have. It adds up to... A couple hundred million. Can this buy one?"

Sena shook her head, "No, I don't ant you to do that. We'll let the townspeople bury him. He may have been a mean guy, but everyone deserves a berial. Besides," Sena looked down at Vince wo had pssed out shortly after regaining a sligh bit of consciousness. "I'm worried about him. I wanna get him to a bed. Is there an Inn closeby or somthing?" She asked hoisting him over her shoulder w she was stronger than she looked. "The towns people seem to have all of this under control anyways." She looked at Vince with a slightly worried expression, "You'll be alright..."

Kin used his clouds to diligently fall on too the boat. It was medium sized and he shrugged thinking. "Since we talked it over before and getting the boat was supposed to be my innitiation, then he better not start spouting some s*** about how I didn't do anything to prove my worth and how he wants me to do something else. Because he went ahead and just side-stepped everything. If he brings it up and fully understands how agitated I am, I'll pimp-smack him." Kin thought, dodging any confrontation with the two and flying up to the crows nest to sleep through us of his clouds.

Kenshin staggered slightly as he walked around toward the center of the ship, his adrenaline levels from the chase coming down and only just noticing that he got shot in the gut the blood slowly starting to show through his coat as Kazuya looked around and they set off when the small boy arrived. Kenshin then fell laying on his back as the pain from getting shot struck him, having not been one to be able to withstand much pain well he laid there while Kazuya rushed over checking the wound. "seems to have gone right through.. but your losing blood.. we'll have to find a doctor in the next town soon.." Kazuya said wrapping a strip of cloth over the man's mid-section to try to stop the bleeding under the cloth as he returned to the wheel and began to sail the ship, turning away from the harbor and going out into a more wide range of water away from the part of the island they had been on.

Sitting under a clouded, yet bright sky, Bluerock Town was currently experiencing a crisis. A sudden illness had found itself spread across the town, with nearly every person being infected. The symptoms were currently benign, bouts of coughing, loss of energy, and a case of dehydration. For those less fortunate, their bed-ridden bodies were covered in blue chickenpox-like spots. The townspeople had no cures for the illness, relying on marine doctors for aid.

Some of the doctors had merely performed standard procedure on the victims: checking their pulse, taking and comparing notes with one another, giving pain pills. After doing as such, they picked up their belongings and went to leave. Several of the townspeople had struggled to get up and bark at them.

"Where do you lot think you're going? You barely did anything!", one man shouted.
"We're only hear on account of your paid taxes. If you wish to receive better medical care, we'll be willing to discuss a fair deal" a sly doctor responded calmly.
"You have no soul! But we're desperate, what do you want?"
"Give us custody of this town to use as a marine base. You'll all have to be evicted, of course," he snickered at the last part.

More of the townspeople began to shout insults at the doctors before the left, leaving the door with a red 'X' painted on it open. As their hope diminished, another man stepped into their sights. Dressed as any other doctor, the man walked into the room and went straight for the victims. His face was obscured by a white mask, resembling a bird's beak. "Who are you? Coming to pressure us, too?" "Wait a minute. See that mask? I heard about this guy. He's been seen around town a lot" Me too. They say he's actually been helping people unlike the marine doctors"

The beak doctor raced around the beds in a childlike fashion. "Yes, yes. Hmm. No that's no it. He'll be fine. They need some time, especially her. One, two, six victims. No problem. Oh disease, you've failed once again. Begone!" his speech was fast-paced, yet filled with passion. He placed his hand upon one of the victims, whose ragged breath had immediately calmed upon his touch. The next person also seemed to be soothed after his hand was placed, his blue-spotted skin returning to normal. In a short time, all of the infected people of the room had been cured though still exhausted from their endeavors.

"They're all better?! How can thank you, Mr..." one man began. "Doctor. Doctor Isha. Where there is disease in this world I shall be there to fight it! That is my one goal in life, to rid the world of disease and cure the blights that plague mankind! I will-!" Isha began before slumping abruptly. "Who am I kidding? This disease is little league. I'm sure a bowl of soup would fix everyone better than I ever could..." his speech trailed with severe depression and emptiness. He walked out the room without a word of goodbye, speaking to himself again. "I can't cure the world. The world is big and I am small. May as well drown myself right now.."

The townspeople looked at the passing man with sweatdrops and unimpressed faces. "What that guy for real?" "Maybe he needs a therapist" "Do we have to pay him?"

the boat arrived at the harbor near a town seeing what looked to be marine doctors in the town a Kazuya looked at Kenshin wondering how bad his condition had become in their time they were sailing. "hm.. they look like the marine's doctors.. doesn't seem to be any marine soldiers i can see so.." he said before starting to lift Kenshin up, Kenshin showing a pathetic attempt to help him lift him. Kazuya had managed to lift the man though seemed like it was a small struggle to hold him though he seemed like he had secured his hands around enough to carry him with too much chance of dropping moving into the town ad gathering a couple of small wooden barrels inside his power as he walked in case marines tried anything while he wandered around yelling for a doctor to get one to try to help.

Isha dragged himself along the ground, moving slower and slower with each step. "This is pointless" he murmured to himself, "I'm pointless. Taxes are pointless. Marines and pirates...too much." The doctor fell to his knees, then collapsed. Isha would often succumb to this negativity as it was one of his personality flaws. He would either be brimming with energy or lack any whatsoever, one or the other.

The doctor continued to move about town, with his lifeless upper body being pushed along the ground by his legs. Dull, tired eyes were hidden by his white mask along with his matching expression. Before long, a voice could be heard from the distance. It was calling for help, specifically a doctor's. The downtrodden doctor suddenly stopped, as if he was being talked to directly. Once lifeless hands placed themselves on the ground, giving a powerful push to help the rest of the body get back on its feet. Renewed vigor coursed through his veins, telling him to seek out the call.

"The doctor is in!" Isha announced as he ran over to Kazuya and Kenshin, despite not knowing where to go. Skidding to a halt before them, the beaked doctor tried his best to look as cool as possible. "Diagnosis go!" Isha called out while observing the duo. Thoughts raced through his mind in the form of diagrams, formulas, and short notes. "Patients are suffering from bullet wounds, blood loss, ruptured organs, exhaustion, dehydration..." he trailed on without actually interacting with them.

"Diagnosis complete!" Isha placed one hand on Kazuya, allowing the latter to recover some energy, and the other on Kenshin. Once Kazuya appeared to be fine, he placed both hands on Kenshin and began concentrating. Blood stains started to disappear and skin began to heal at an accelerated rate by his touch. "This will take a minute. Please make sure I'm not disturbed. Name's Doctor Isha" he said with a cloaked smirk.

As the duo, recently turned trio floated along through the sea, Sena had made sure that Vince was as comfortable as possible. Because their previous boat hadn't the room they needed for all three of them, Sena had to dig into the money she had brought with her. The berries that Alex had, as well as after an extent search of Vince's person, she managed to get a bigger boat. In had a small cabin on the deck with a single bed room, as well as stairs that lead to below the boat which was where a mini kitchen and dining room was. They had stocked on some food and after setting sail Sena had yet to leave Vince's side. She didn't know why he was still unconscious, and it worried her. Did he hit his head hard or something? She wasn't a doctor so she couldn't say.

Instead she held his hand hoping for the best. She had left Alex to make sure they kept heading north. She knew he wasn't a navigator but if she tried to chart their course she'd have them going back to her homeland in the south. Sena had no sence of direction at all. She was so worried for Vince that she had yet to complain that she was hungry once. However, she was still drinking large amounts of water, which she was sure was confusing Alex though he hadn't said anything about it. Vince hadn't asked about her strange habit either. Sena dropped her head and her eyes closed. She had fallen asleep in the chair that sat by Vince's bedside.

Alex looked at the two sleeping. "They look cute together." He was polishing a glass. He used the ship's wheel to set them a little farther northeast. Then he went back inside, where his meal awaited him. It had been a few months since he last had a good meal. He had the old chef's bloodstained uniform, with the chain still inside, hanging in a glass case. "Rest in Hell. You made great food, but your heart wasn't in the right place." He chuckled, and sliced up a small fruit, then sauteed it along some Beef with a little Wine. "Kind of like the best dish I made there, aside from the last meal, that nice man who's the first mate of the ship, I made there. The Dorado. My symbol.

Sena had slept through the rest of the day, and even through the night. She hadn't realized how tired she was until she had went to sleep. When Sena had finally woken up the first thing she noticed was that Vince wasn't awake yet. The next thing she became aware of was that the boat wasn't moving, and lastly was the hunger that rippled through her entire being. "Oh man...How long was I out?" She mumbled standing up and stretching. Sena readjusted Vince so he was comfortable before leaving her dear friend to find some food." When she walked out of the deck cabin she saw that they were docked at the next down. A quick check below deck yeilded no results in her search for Alex, but she did find some food. Sena ate what she found - it was extremely delicious even if it was cold - refilled her water canteen and then went back above deck. "Oh there you are Alex." She said seeing him when she reached the deck. "Hey mind staying here and looking over Vince? I wanna take a look around this town for a bit. I'll be back in a couple of hours."

Kazuya watched as the man ran over to diagnose Kenshin, listening before the man touched his arm and Kazuya felt himself grow less worn out despite his previous battle and the fact he was carrying the man. "healing him just by touching him..." Kazuya then muttered more to himself as the doctor said to make sure they weren't disturbed slowly lowering Kenshin onto a box so that the man could continue healing him while he looked around to see if anyone was going to try anything against them. "My name's Kazuya.." he then said quietly as the man ha healed Kenshin.

Isha looked over to Kazuya as he presented himself, still retaining his smirk. "Good to meet you, Kazuya. I'm Isha. Not wait, already said that. Full of life right now as it were. Unlike your friend here, at least...not...until...right...n-! Wait, not yet. Almost...There. We. Go!" As the doctor removed his hands, Kenshin's wound had disappeared. Aside from his expression, the man was in tip top shape. Isha placed a fist to his chest to congratulate himself for a job well done.

"Another life saved. It warms my heart to see the transition from near-death to full health", he began to ramble. "And now, my newly acquainted Kazuya, your friend has been salvaged from Death's grasp and returned to the world of adventure! By the hands of my Kyuu Kyuu no Mi (Aid Aid Fruit), nothing is beyond saving. I will one day use it to cure the diseases of tyranny, suffering, and loneliness! I-!" The doctor arms slumped and pulled the rest of his body to the ground. The once energetic man now lay in the dirt, a depressing lump. "You're fine now. Everyone is. Except for those houses guarded by the marines. I can't even save a couple of people from the Blue Plague. May as well go swimming, except I'll drown due to my Devil Fruit..." He curled into a ball and hugged his legs.

Before long, several marines had arrived to the trio's location. There were a dozen men, half of them dressed in doctor's uniforms, surrounding them in a circle formation. One marine had stepped forward, dressed in a red Captain's uniform, and knelt down to Isha. He was an extremely skinny individual, his uniform swaying in the slightest wind, and carried two swords on his back. Two daggers could be seen at his waist, along with two pistols. Another interesting feature was that the captain was also symmetrical in appearance.

"Hello all. I am Captain Zwei, the marine in charge of overseeing Bluerock Town" his voice unusually deep for his body type. "You two are new here," he gestured to Kenshin and Kazuya, "so I'll give you fair warning. No one except for marine doctors are to aid the sick in this town. Also, we will be collecting a tourist fee of 500 beli. And Isha," he said while picking up the lifeless man by his hair, "If it weren't for your mood swings, I'd have executed you a long time ago. Stay out of marine affairs". After dropping Isha, Zwei walked a few feet before raising his hand and pointing to Kenshin. "As I said, only my doctors are allowed to take care of the sick. Make sure to replicate the bullet wounds as much as possible. Take a few shots if you miss." About half of present marines had picked up their rifles and took aim at the trio.

Kazuya watched as the marines raised their guns before a small black circle appeared above his head along with a box shaped one near nearby barrels flinging almost perfect condition barrels at the marines to the sides and the back before pulling his rifle off from over his back and quickly attempting to shoot the marines in front as Kenshin pulled out his pistol and did the same most of the marines either injured by the barrels or from the unexpected gunshots from Kazuya and Kenshin. "None of you marines will lay a finger on him.." Kazuya then said angrily as a black box shaped darkness appeared in front of him as Captain Zwei had quickly shot at them blocking the bullets though flickering as if not held properly before launching the small bullets out of the circle of darkness above his head. The Captain had then sheathed his pistols and pulled out his swords finding the pistols seemed to have been ineffective s he dodged hi own bullets shot back at him from the dark circle running at Kazuya before being pulled from seemingly nothingness and shooting to Kazuya's then outstretched hand as the darkness disappeared Kazuya looking almost exhausted already before trying to punch him, blocked by the flat side of one of the swords as Kenshin fired at the Navy Captain's legs as they freed them self from Kazuya's grip shooting them once or twice before they managed to move away from the fighting area most likely to get reinforcements to make sure that those two would pay for that assault. Kazuya had meanwhile fell forwards slightly a Kenshin stood and helped him back up, using so much of his powers having took a lot out of Kazuya. "We could... liberate the town from them... if we get more crew members.." Kazuya said as he began to breathe deeply his exhaustion obvious.

Isha continued to lay on the ground, seemingly unaware of what was going on around him. However, because of the intense action and close proximity to the events in question, he was full of energy. The doctor was laying down to question himself about what his place was in this situation. I'm just a nobody, hiding myself from everyone. I say I want to help people, but I'm limited to wherever I can walk. But this guy is going out of his way to protect his friend, probably traveling across the seas and braving the marines to do so. The doctor stood up and brushed himself off, still unfazed by the people fighting around him.

"Kazuya, you're probably a pirate right? Despite that, help me save this town. If you do... I'll join you!" The doctor rushed over to Kazuya's position and placed a hand on his back, beginning to heal him. "I don't know what power you're using, but it looks like it's taking a lot out of you. I'll heal you between your outbursts, and we can beat this guy! Kyuu Kyuu no Sha!" His right arm was held out stiff as a board, slowly shifting into a metallic shape. His hand and forearm were replace by an oversized scalpel.

Captain Zwei looked over to see the duo forming a plan, along with watching his soldiers being beaten so easily. "Don't underestimate me! You're a hundred years too young for that!" His crossed his swords in a 'X' position while taking a low stance. His body flickered as he appeared behind Isha, slashing his back and leaving an x-shaped wound. "Yeah, its the captain's patented 'Dash Slash' attack!" one marine called out. "No one survives the second hit!" another chimed in.

Isha cringed in pain before using the opportunity to swing his arm around and slash Zwei, the latter of whom quickly stepped back enough to only be nicked. Instead of a physical wound, Zwei had felt twice the pain he would have received from the nick. Annoyed, he assumed another low stance. "Is he as lucky as you?!" the captain raged as he went for a speedy attack on Kenshin.

a black box of darkness appeared in front of where the Captain's swords were trapping them inside before launching him and his arms outwards from it with small bruises to stop his rush at Kenshin as Kazuya again held his hand out the Captain pulled in quickly and held by the throat. "did you not listen.." he then said angrily before a dark box appeared under the single remaining barrel before another circle appeared next to Kazuya and shot it out almost point blank at the Captain's head as they were held there by Kazuya's hand around their neck, "No marine will touch my crew member" he then growled angrily at the man as the barrel quickly approached them.

Captain Zwei was unsettled by his arms being blocked by a mysterious black box of darkness. Before he could react, he felt himself being pulled in by a strong force toward Kazuya. He remained in his grip, too weak to escape the angered pirate. "Wa-wait! Hold-" the captain tried to bargain before a barrel slammed into the side of his head. The force of the impact knocked the marine out, leaving him unconscious in Kazuya's hold.

The other marines, shaking in place, tried to accept their loss. "No way! Captain Zwei was defeated!" "But he's taken down pirates with a bounty of 5,000,000 beli?!" "These guys are too much! Let's run for it!" Leaving their captain, the marines were quickly stopped by the angered townspeople. "Now that we're healthy again, it's time for some payback! We're taking back our town!" Others had joined in capturing and subduing the corrupt marines and doctors, leaving the lot tied together in the center of town.

Isha walked over to the defeated Zwei and slashed his back twice, in the same x-shaped fashion. "There. We both felt the pain, but have no wounds to prove it" he pointed to his back, which was healed save for some superficial scratches. "Thank you, Kazuya. Since you helped me, I'll gladly join your crew. Preferably as your doctor, I can't cook" He held out his hand for a handshake. "Before we leave, I need to heal the rest of the townsfolk as well as gather some supplies. I'll only be an hour or so"

One of the townspeople listening in had walked over to extend some gratitude. "If you need anything else, we'll be happy to help. We can't offer you much, but it's the least we can do"

Kazuya shook the doctor's hand, "of course.. with someone like you we wouldn't really need as long of a wait in between our battles and thus we can stop the marines assaults and takeovers easier.." he then said quietly seeming much more calm, "well.. I'm not sure how much food we have on our ship but it should do us since you would nee it more.. there's really nothing we need.. hm.. you wouldn't mind if we took those marines would you, I'll drop 'em in when we get to somewhere with a prison that they won't know or on an island.. one of the two to pay them back for the mistreatment they cause to civilians..." he then said to the Villager as Kenshin began to walk back towards the ship with a small "thanks" and a short explanation of going to design weapons.

'Ugh...what...Ms. Sena?' Vince awoke, feeling well rested but troubled. 'Where am I?' Vince shook his head in surprise that he'd been in a bed for so long, and it was actually remarkably comforatble. 'Ngh, my head.' Vince held his head, feeling the sun shine for a long time hurt his eyes. 'My word. This isn't the rowing boat. Could it be?' Vince then got out of bed, dressed up and searched for Sena. 'Lady Rosalind, I shall never allow Ms. Sena to come to harm ever again. I promise you.' He said as he held a locket on his neck in his hands, while he looked at the sunny sky. 'Now, where is Ms. Sena?' Then he saw her on the deck. 'Ms. Sena! Over here!'

While waiting for Alex to reply she had heard a voice she was dearly missing for the past day or two. She turnd around grinning widely at Vince. "Hey! You're up!" She ran over to him hugging him around his waist. "Oh god, I'm so glad you're ok!" She stepped back still grinning as though she was a child just given their first piece of candy. Sena thought he would be out for even longer than he was, but was relieve that he was up and ok.

Even though he seemed fine, Sena couldn't help but give him a look over to make sure he was fit to be walking after being out cold for the entire journey to the next town. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so Sena just smiled and placed her hands behind her head. "Well now that you're awake, you can watch over the boat. I don't want you over exerting yourself so soon after waking up. I was planning on going out into the town and taking a look around. Maybe find a new crewmate, or simply some new supplies for us. You should go below deck and get something to eat. Alex can take care of you and make sure you get some good food in you." Sena smiled. "You just focus on getting your energy back and I'll handle the looking around part."

Sena gave a mini salute to Vince, and a nod to Alex before walking off and soon vanishing into the town.
