Wolfenstein on PC way back when. And I think I'm ranked in the top 1000 on the Rock Band 3 leaderboards (Guitar). Never played competitively though.

Rome: Total War multiplayer is dominated by competitive players nowadays, so I don't play it online anymore.

shouldnt you be competitive starcrafting as a korean?

Does beating Mile High Club on Veteran classify me as a good gamer?

Hmm...

Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm not at the limit of what we've seen a player can reach, but I also don't doubt I can play competitively. It has actually been months since I've last played. I could rekindle that, in a sense.

I know how to play Pokemon at a competitive level, but I've very little experience in the actual scene.

Soulcalibur IV.

Almost DDR. AAing nine footers isn't so common. I'm acually very close to being capable of getting tens and playing some of the most difficult songs of all.

Megaman Starforce 3. My Cygnus was amazing, but I had no chance against a Knuckle folder. Ridiculously overwhelming to fight, really.

I'm probably forgetting one or two.

theres a competitive megaman?

I don't really play competitively with anything. I just play to have a good time.

Although, if I have friends or family over, I always try to be on top with any game.

Except with any Starcraft. My bro destroys me at Starcraft, and I have accepted that fact.

Ragequiting? On CoD, but rarely. And a little bit on TF2.

Halo: Reach has taught me that rage quitting is bad.

And that makes us better gamers
Yes indeed.

In fact, I always stick in a game until the very end, unless it's one of those games that just never stops, like in TF2. One game ends, another one is around the corner.

I don't quit in massive AGE. I just get annoyed as f*ck with something or there's a douchebag hacker and I don't want to have anything to do with the game. There's tons of hackers in S4 league and sometimes people are just retarded about it. This is what happened a few times...

*NulledOutput (that's me) enters melee only Chaser mode.*
NOP: *Hacker flies up.* Wait, what? *Hacker starts using a hacked gatling gun and kills everybody.* What the f*ck?
*Next round.*
NOP: Well, he's not the chaser. *Guy hacks the same way again and quickly kills the chaser.* Dude, that dipsh*t is hacking.
Other Player 1: But dude, he's killing the Chaser.
OP2: Yeah, he's killing the chaser.
NOP: What about when he's doing it WHILE the chaser.
Hacker: I am Russian. (No joke, he said this)
NOP: What's that got to do with you being so bad you need to hack an easy game?
OP1: Dude, he's killing the Chaser.
NOP: Idiots. <_< *NOP left the room.*

Another time...
*NOP enters the room.*
NOP: That's odd. Did that chaser just get instant killed. And why is that guy's score over 2000?
YOU ARE THE CHASER!
NOP: Well f*ck. Oh well. I'll kill all these gu-*One shot killed.* (Note: When you are the chaser damage is significantly reduced to usually being about 1 no matter the hit) Seriously? This game is easy and you need to hack?
YOU ARE THE CHA-*Leaves.*

It's a fun game but hackers are extremely annoying. It's impossible to go 10 games without one and you can't kick them during a match. In chaser mode somebody is randomly made to be the chaser and that person must kill all the other people in the match. If you aren't the chaser then you just need to survive. I just don't want to have anything to do with hackers or people that use cheap as hell stuff.

I hate when I want to play CoD without a team and I join late.

*joins in*
"We're in danger of losing this one!"
"Enemy Attack Dogs inbound,"
"Enemy Huey inbound,"

Me: "F*ck this," *raeg quits*

This is why you have a Ghost Pro class on.

Any fighting game except for Street Fighter, as I found Street Fighter godawful. I just feel that Street Fighter isn't competitive at all... =/

And no, I rarely ever ragequit. If I do, it's because of the fact that the other person doesn't know anything about dignity and has to spam in order to get any form of a win.

I think I love you
you wont believe how long its taken me to convince others that kof series up to 2003 was better than any street fighter period and street fighter just sucked s*** till 4, and the only reason people like it is because the brand name capcom is bigger

I play my Black competitively, but I raeg when I fight dem Japs and their seemingly haxored Pokemon (Exactly how could Glaceon outrun a speed-trained Archeops with a Pro-Speed nature and Speed IVs???).

I also occasionally play some other games online.

I used to play Bleach: Dark Souls online competitively, though it became difficult to get into a match these days. I used to be able to take on 3 lv9 computers at once before with Ichimaru Gin, and my win/lose ratio was probably 8 wins for every loss online. As for what I play today, I've been playing Black Ops, and I usually try to see if the other team has a group up because I don't like taking out one guy and then having my location broadcasted to the entire enemy team. It's also pretty fun to play the Zombies mode competitively and try to get more kills/points than everyone else in your party.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is another one of those very fun games to compete on since how well you're doing can change in a moment's notice. I usually do Manhunt so that I can prioritize my abilities into Hiding and Hunting.

I used to be extremely competitive back when I played League of Legends. I even had a team and everything, it really doesn't help when the team unanimously votes for you to be the captain without you saying a word about it.

But anyways, it was mostly good times when I played competitively. Then however, I realized a problem.

When you play competitively, you take on a 'must-win' mentality. When you start winning with this mentality... You get cocky. As you climb up the ladder, so does everyone else. That's when s*** turns from a game into a war. You lose? It was everyone else's fault. You win? It was you that carried that game. That was the sort of mentality that my friends and I slowly got into. At this point if we lost, we would start playing the blame game unless it was plainly obvious who was at fault. If we won, we would start bragging and going over what we did to win that game, and sometimes even call out the enemy team for being terrible.

It's a terrible thing really, and it nearly brought my friend and I to the point where we nearly weren't friends. I'm the type of person that keeps quiet and keeps my cards and motives down until the last second, to go from that to calling out my opponent for making a simple error, is quite something. While I am indeed an a******, I try to hold some respect to my opponent at least until the game ends.

And this is my problem with competitive gamers, they're probably good people; but put a really competitive (and social) game in front of them, and issues arise. I don't mind if my friends get a bit competitive when we play something casual; it's casual after all. But I cross the line at anything that's supposed to be played seriously.

Just a warning, to those who think they want to become competitive.
