Dragon Caves Academy : Beginning of a new Revolution [Started/Accepting via OoC]

"You're darn right, its a good thing!" Reian nodded as the student entered his room, "Herm, now where was I... oh right, I was going to start on... erm... oh yes, I remember now!" Reian recalled, almost forgetting in his old age, "Today, you are going to learn about an important part of Dragon Breeding! See certain dragon breeds can have differant 'Abilities' we'll call them, that only they can do. For example, the green dragon, also known as the Pebble Dragon, or the Earth Dragon, can cause an earthquake, that may actually kill eggs around it, but at the same time, it can also hatch the eggs prematurley. Vampire dragons, much like fabled vampires in the old stories and legends that you hear, can bite other dragons or eggs, agian, alot of the time, this will kill them, but some of the time this will make the dragon transform into another Vampire, much how the vampires from the old stories and legends would bite there victims and turn THEM into vampires. Purple dragons have the ability to increase there fertility, which makes there chances of succesfully having an egg with another dragon more likley, obviously, this is known as breeding, and that will be what a later section in our class will be about. Thirdly, red dragons, not to be confused with other dragons that are red, can incubate there eggs, causing the egg to hatch quicker, usually by a small amount mind you..." Reian said, only stopping every so often to take a breath, "Any questions before I continue?"

Nevirath Listened and listened to the teacher, until she heard a student ask a very unnerving question "Yea, I have a Question! How in the hell did that THING over there came to be!?" That student pointed at Nevirath, She sighed as Deinarva Growled at that student, Nevirath then growled, saying to Deinarva "It's okay brother, I'm not exactly sure either". She could hear the other Students saying stuff like "OWNED!" and "Yea, What is she!?". She was used to it, Deinarva wasn't and was screeching...

"Well you see young student" Reian calmly said as he slowly walked over to the student who had asked that, "That is..." he started to say the he lifted his staff up into the air and smacked him on the head with it, "NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS!" He shouted violently as the boys head rolled on the desk, almost unconscious, there were whispers amoung the students, "Did he just..." "How... he's so old..." "Is he allowed to do that?" Reian shook his head at the boy lying there, "Now listen here! My methods may be questionable, but they are efficient, so if any of you misbehave agian, this example will be shown agian full force on the guilty! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!?" He shouted, then went back to his old man type thing agian, and walked over the the girl and her dragon, he kneeled down to see the screeching dragon eye level, "I'm sorry about that, but don't worry, I think you'll be alright now" He said, and patted the dragon on the head, "You too, Madam" he said the the girl, then looked back at the crowd, "Now, lets forget about that scene, now do any of you have any questions that ACTUALLY RELATE TO WHAT I WAS SAYING!?"

Nevirath Smiled, Not many people had helped her with that sort of problem, Deinarva was screeching very happily before going back to sleep, Nevirath had very few questions, but since they were unrelated to the current subject at hand, she held off on asking. After a few moments of pondering, she asked "Erm..." She looked in the scroll schedule for his name "Mr. Jesla? Does My Dragon have any sort of ability like the other dragons you mentioned?"....

"Let me see... ah yes, a Nebula Dragon I presume? Nebula Dragons do not have any known special ability like the ones I have spoke of, they are Nocturnal Creatures, they have amazing eyesight, they often stare at differant Nebula, and change there- Oh excuse me, I'm beggining to sound like a know your dragon teacher. Anyway, as I was saying: Shallow water dragons have an interesting ability, known as splash... and when I say interesting, I mean its interesting because it does absolutley nothing, litterally, it just splashes around! Pink dragons have the ability to influance the gender of there unborn egg, depending on the gender of the parent that starts the influencing, that is what gender it will most likley be." He told the class, and started looking through a scroll to see if he was missing anything.

Nevirath then said to the teach "Mind Me, you missed one... Magi, or less commonly known as Orange Dragons, are capable of Teleporting, which allows the dragon to switch eggs and/or hatchlings of others or even take them." Nevirath then found it was a bit rude to interrupt, Deinarva was growling as if speaking to Nevirath "I think you pissed the teach off!" Nevirath growled back, as if saying "I think so too..."...

[Grunt Issun]

"Ah yes, thank you, I knew I was missing one!" He exclaimed, then turned a little, "Always forget that damn thing" he muttered, then turned back, "I belive those are most of the special abilities that the dragons hold... except for one..." Reian trailed off, he paused for a moment, and suddenly his facial expression changed, he looked up into the sky, as if he was recalling somthing, "There are three rare dragons, A Magma dragon, a Thunder dragon, and an Ice dragon... if these three legendary dragons are brought together, they can combine there powers in order to try and bring forth an ultra divine dragon, I belive its name is roughly "Gaurdian of Nature" representing how its a mix of the 3 basic elements used by the dragons that summoned it, its a beautifull majestic dragon, with great power, too!" Reian exclaimed, with a huge grin on his face.

Nevirath also perked up and said "I also heard rumors of a couple of Dragons being able to keep their eggs and hatchlings from growing Soft or ill for periods of time, I just can't remember which kind though". other students were whispering among themselves, wondering about the wisdom of Nevirath herself, and what were the limits of it. Nevirath giggled, being flattered about said discussions while Deinarva's ears perked up...

Valencia flicked through the pages of her large tome. "Your dragon is a BBW; A Bright-Breasted Wyvern.They are considered common, but many a dragon hunter/tamer longs for one due to their remarkable beauty, and as such are hard to find." Valencia told Jake. Reaching her suitcase, she brought out the egg shells of the three dragons she'd told the three students about.

"These are the eggs of Sywings, Daydreams and Bright Breasted, respectfully." She informed the class, placing them down.

"One other breed I do believe I forgot to mention is the Black Dragon." Valencia said, to a nod of approval from a student with said dragon.

"Black Dragons," Valencia told the class, taking ablack dragon eg shell from her suitcase to show them. "are one of three breeds with an alternate form. Alt Blacks and Blacks share the same egg, and look slightly similar. But Black Dragons have more yellow and white, whereas Alt Blacks have more blue." Valencia held up the page of her tome with Black/Alt Blacks to show everyone.

"Any question before we go a bit further in the maturity of dragons over time?"

(OOC: I'm not skipping some eggs just to make everyone feel left out. I'm doing it so we do a few different dragon species each lesson, which means there eggs and maturity stages. So leik yeah. Later in the year, Valencia will teach about the food that these dragons need to make them strong, as well as habitat

Otto took down many notes. She now knew that Blue Osiris was a Skywing, thus was born with wings, The Bright-breasted Wyvern was beautiful and rare, the Black Dragon comes in different variations, and a lot of stuff. She now knew more about Blue Osiris and believed she could take good care of her.

"Ms Valencia," Otto spoke, "I heard that Dragon Tamers will at times find rare, spotted eggs that do not hatch into dragons, what are they and how do they get in caves?"

"Rargh.(Gettin' off topic?)" Blue Osiris muttered.

Valencia picked up her tome from her table and flicked to the back of the book. "Ah yes, the Non-Dragons." She nodded.

"The Non-Dragons often have different eggs than those of dragons, and most consider them to be rather rare. The most common known Non-Dragons are the Dinos, each a different color. Exactly how they got there is unknown, but the potrayals of both Dragons and Dinos considers Dinos to be more lighthearted, it seems." Valencia told them.

"In actuality, no-one is sure how the Non-Dragon eggs make their way into the natural habitats of Dragons. My thoughts are that the Non-Dragon eggs are from another dimension of sorts, and that a rip in the fabric of space brings the eggs here, to us."

She closed her tome.

"Now, we will talk about the maturity of dragons over time." She said. "Thunder, Ice Fire, Ceres! Show our students the process!"

A small green dragon wandered into the classroom, nudging an egg along. Valencia, packing away the egg shells, pick ed up the egg and placed it on the table. She then picked up the dragon as well.

"This egg is one of a Day Glory/Night Glory Drake. If you look past appearance, this is basically how every dragon starts its life." She said. She then turned to the green dragon. "This is Ceres, a Canopy Dragon. Ceres is at the same stage the dragons you all have are. This stage is most commonly known as Stage 1 Hatchling."

Another dragon flew it. It was a deep brownish color, with wings that had speckles of sparkly blue. Its underside was also blue.

"Ice Fire is a Hellfire Wyvern, Female. It's stage is Stage Two, which means it now has wings and can fly. In the cases of Skywing Dragons, they can fly even better"

The door to the classroom opened wide, and a dark blue dragon flew in. Electricity sparked across i's body, and its eyes glowed yellow. It landed next to Valencia, who carefully stroked it.

"This is Thunder, an Electric dragon. He represents the final stage of a dragon, the Adult. This is as far as a Dragon can go. Here is when their powers blossom and they become very powerful." Valencia said.

"Anymore questions?"


Phoebe jotted down a million notes all at once. "Awesome." She murmured, flipping to the next page and continuing her note writing frenzy. Sophia rolled her eyes and jumped off Phoebe's shoulder onto the table, and lay down in a patch of sunlight to rest.

Jake smiled, then looked at Saria, "Alright, so you're a Bright Breasted Wyvern, that makes sense." He said, and began jotting down notes on what the teacher had said, meanwhile Saria had her head up high, eyes closed, smiling, Jake noticed this and groaned, '[i]Great, now she knows she's going to be beauitful, as if she needed a bigger ego'[/i] Jake thought, then kept writing notes down about the non-dragons, and whatnot.

Reian nodded at Nevirath, appreciating her knowladge, "You know alot eh Miss? May I ask to speak to you after class a bit, I want to know somthing," then, without waiting for an answer he turned to the rest of the class, "Alright, tommarow, I'm going to introduce you to breeding, and show you my lovley dragons,"

Nevirath nodded when Reian asked, She paid closer attention to the class as she heard more whispering from other students, Deinarva's ears also perked up and growled, Nevirath then whispered to Deinarva "I understand little brother" She closed her eyes, listening for the class bell to ring and to the conversations coming from the other students, She was caught up on a particularly juicy conversation about her. "What The!? How does she know these things!?" "Maybe she has another teacher outside the Academy" "Perhaps she learned some of these things from her parents" After she heard the word "Parents" She reflected back when she was with her mother... She looked further ahead as she anticipated the bell to ring, she loved to answer questions...

[Jolta]

Otto had indeed learnt a lot about different dragon species. And of course, the different dragon stages.
[i]"That's great! I'm glad I've learnt a lot through this lesson."[/i] Otto thought. She hoped this hour-long lesson could continue.

Sadly, it had ended as the bell rung once more.
"C'mon, so soon? Time flies when you have fun..." Otto stood up and greeted the teacher before heading to the Cafeteria, with her buddy flying behind her.

"Stilton, Redstar, I think its time to go, we all need a break, don't we?" Mr. Priest was in his Principal's Office, ready to leave.

Jake followed Otto out of the classroom when the bell rang, almost losing track of his thoughts as he did so, Saria rolled her eyes, as much as a dragon could, at his behavior. Jake caught this and turned, "Oh stop it Saria" he told her, Saria just ignored him. Jake hurried up to Otto, "Hey, interesting stuff today huh Otto?" He asked trying to act casual

--Reian--
Reian looked up as the bell rang, "Oh, there we go, well I guess that means class is dismissed, good day to you all" He told the students as they started filling out, then turned to Nevirath, "I was going to ask you some questions... hrm, what was it agian? Umm... oh yes, your wings, they're the wings of a Nebula dragon correct? If so, may I ask if that dragon you have is in anyway related to you?" Reian asked the girl.

Nevirath heard the questions, The Second question to her will answer the first question "To be precise, I'm not exactly sure about that, but yes, Deinarva is my Brother by birth" Then She thought a bit about it and asked "Why do you ask? Is it that I'm perhaps a bit too strange?" Nevirath giggled at her question as Deinarva crawled on her shoulder, Nevirath stroked Deinarva on the back as he nuzzled on Nevirath's neck...

[Grunt Issun]

Reian scratched his chin when thinkin of an answer to Neviraths question, "You could say that, turthfully its because you remind me of someone I once knew, he was also a Draconion, I think thats the correct term for it, yes he was a good friend of mine, met him when I was still about 20, though at that time he was about 130, must be 200 years old by now, still probably looks 23-26" He rambled, "Oh I'm sorry, I tend to ramble on when I get onto a subject like that, but anyway, I was just interested because you reminded me of him, he had a dragon with him to, turns out it was his sister, a Flamingo Wyvern actually, ah yes, he was a strange one, he did look fairly strange with his pink wings, and... Oh there I go agian, I'm quite sorry" He appologized yet agian.

Nevirath giggled and said "Well, it looks like I'm not one of a kind, It's okay if you're rambling on, just don't be lazy" She giggled at this remark, and then after some thought, said "I have 1 more question to ask about this friend... and 1 more question on another topic..." She thought for a slight moment and said "Could this friend of yours understand what other dragons are saying?". This Implied to Reian that She could understand Dragons.

IC: Reian chuckled shortly at Neviraths remark, "Why yes, I belive he COULD understand dragons if I remember, he was able to tell me alot about my dragons infact, I only had two of them though at that time, now I have a third one, as well... so with you asking, I assume that means that you are able to understand dragons like he was? I can only immagine that would make sense if you were a draconian" Reian decided, "Oh and you said you had another question on some other topic? What is it?" Reian asked, wanting to help a student with whatever it was she needed, even if it was just answering a question.

Nevirath then Nodded at his assumption and said "Yes, I can understand Dragons, and it does seem to make a lot of sense", to which, she giggled. After some sort of thought and with her stomach growling, she asked her second question, "My brother and I are starting to get hungry, and my next class is ironically Lunch, Would you like to join me for Lunch?", The moment Nevirath had said "Lunch", Deinarva's ears perked up, it was apparent that Deinarva wanted something to eat, and so and so, Deinarva crawled on her head, wide awake...

Reian smilled, "Why, that sounds like a fine idea, I accept your offer missy" Reian told Nevirath and nodded, he then felt his stomuch, "I'm getting quite hungry too, I guess its good timing eh?" He asked rhetoricly, with a bit of a chuckle, then started to make his way down to the cafeteria, wherever that was in this school.

While Jake was talking to Otto, trying to make small talk about the classes and whatnot, Saria leaned over to look at Blue Osiris, she nodded at her, and growled a bit as if to say, "(Can you belive this guy? I'm almost sad to call him my master, even worse to call him a friend)" Saria smiled after that.

[Jolta]

"Well, I guess it is, hopefully it'll be like that everyday. It felt short..." Otto spoke, with Blue Osiris still hovering above her. "So, wanna have Lunch together?"

Blue Osiris looked at Saria and chuckled. "Well, I can definitely see what you mean," the Skywing spoke in dragon. She knew about Jake's unlimited nervousness whenever he was around Otto. She knew what was happening. She just shouldn't, and wouldn't tell Otto.

"Well, that was fast. Now my head is full of red Stardust." Mr. Priest sat on a table in the Cafeteria. "Good think I packed my own lunch."
Stilton started growling.
"No cheese, no cheese. Calm down big guy. Lets dig in."
Stilton, being a non-living animated being, simply wasn't hungry.

Jake's cheeks reddend a little at Ottos question, "I, I mean, um, yeah sure, totally!" Jake stammered nervously, Saria flashed the same look at Blue Osiris before turning back to Jake and just sighing and shaking her head, "So, uh, lets... lets go" Jake said and glanced around, "Which way is the cafateria anyway?" Jake wondered aloud, hoping that maybe Otto would know, or else they might just be lost in the hallway for a quite a bit, caught up in all of this, Jake completley forgot about his fight that he was supposed to have with that guy with the Hellfire Wyvern that had hurt Saria earlier that day.

[Jolta]

Otto was rather oblivious to his blushing for some reason, probably due to pretending to be oblivious. "Well, its right this way...." Otto started to lead the way.
"Not quite the gentleman. He's gentle, and he's a man, but he's not a gentleman," Blue Osiris muttered in dragon, while still hovering.
"What was that Osiris?" Otto could briefly understand Blue Osiris' words."
"Grar(Errr... nothing!)" the creature replied. Turning to Saria, she said, "I think your bud forgot about that battle with the Hellfire."

Meanwhile... at the Coast, a lil' far from the Academy...

"RARGH!(Why can't I come?)" a dark-purple Leviathan-like beast roared.
A black&white-haired lady that seemed to be getting dressed simply replied, "sorry Black Leviathan, you're a water creature. You don't seem well in land. I'm sorry, I do visit you every day! The doors are big enough even for you, but still..."
"Gr.(OK...)"

Suddenly, a blue-shaded creature landed. It was about 3/4 a metre long with a shade of brown and a couple wings.
"Blazing Lilith, lets go. See you tomorrow Black Leviathan!"

[Grunt Issun]

"Right" Jake said and began to follow Otto to the caffateria, while Saria turned to Blue Osiris, "I think you are right, you wouldn't think he would forget somthing like that, though its fairly obvious why he did" Saria said with a bit of a smile, or however much dragons COULD smile "I'll just have to remind him or somthing, because I'm really looking forward to it" Saria said, thinking about how she was going to destroy the Hellfire Wyvern, meanwhile Jake had striken up another conversation with Otto, "So do you know what they're serving for lunch today?" he asked casually.
