crashedwin
I know there are more than Ender's game and Ender's Shadow, but it isn't a series, you don't need to read all of them. i tried reading Shadow of the Hegemon , but i found it kind of bland, what with it being about Politics and all. Thoughts Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow? i personally loved them both, i got lost in their world, and i am not even a big fan of Sci/Fi, i like realistic fiction more. i recommend these books to anyone who enjoys reading
WTFauKorean
I loved enders game the plot flowed with subtle stops giving the reader a break to have some thoughts on this non-stop thrill ride, of identity and mystery the length that it sustained was necessary and appropriate and it added to its great story telling. this is truly the kinds of stories to be read by men of youth, as it drills politics as well as psychotic pressure enders shadow was much deeper yet it lacked the delivery as it did in the first one still enjoyable and still a great read for the youth of men
Yang Xiao-Long
Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow do have a series though. Ender's Game was actually more suited more towards younger people, as they could relate with the hardships that Ender had to deal with as a child. Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind were more suited towards adult sci-fi, since they dealt with events that Ender had to deal with as an adult, and about 3,000-some years after Ender's Game. Bean's side of the story was actually an entertaining read, as it filled in some major holes in Ender's story, as well as continued on with Earth's transition into Peter Wiggin's Hegemony. The politics involved actually gave Bean's story some necessary intrigue. I really like the Ender series as a whole though; I have every book in both Ender's and Bean's side of the story, and I have the other filler books as well. Niv-Mizzet
These are probably my favorite sci-fi books of all time. Loved Bean's side of the story.
AsianGuy1137
I loved Ender's Game and all the books in the series I've read so far. Ender's Game is still the best though. Would anyone who's read the sequel recommend reading it? I hear it's more mature and philosophical than the first book, but I thought the Ender's Game had a lot of more subtle philosophy too hidden behind the darker themes.
