Okay? I guess theres no harm in doing it" Jake said and closed his eyes like Neir had asked, [i]'Oh God, what is she going to do to him?'[/i] Carolyn wondered, slightly worried for her brothers saftey, [i]'He was never good at knowing when someone was a bad person'[/i] she thought, and it was true, because he would never dislike anyone from the start, ever. Ludwig gladly took the lemonade and drunk it down. "Thanks... George... That means a lot to me..." he said fiddling with his thumbs against the can of Lemonade. "I'm just glad I have someone else that I don't have to hide from." Ludwig said with a smile as he finished off his Lemonade and stood up, "Come on Kumpel, we got some more walking to do, right?" She yelled, when it finally came out Carolyn wanted to smack Neir in the face, but she had seen how strong she was, and besides, she would never here the end of it from Jake if she did, Jake chuckled a little but tried to cover it up when he did, she just glared at him, "Well she does have a point, maybe you should leave your dreams of him until nighttime" Jake suggested, "Oh shut up, Jake" she remarked back at him, sitting back down, Jake couldn't help but laughing a little more, but he caught himself, "Ok, ok, I'm sorry, but still..." Grunt Issun Posted July 13, 2011 Report Share Posted July 13, 2011 Jake was almost starting to get a little angry with Neir, not only because of some of the rather strange things she said at the end, but even at the beggining, he made sure to stay calm but he looked at Neir, "Hey, just because Carolyn acts like she does, doesn't mean she's stupid or doesn't work hard, she's just a little ditzy is all" Jake defended her "And she's not spoiled either, neither of us are, and I'm not going to come out with some sob story about how hard our life is, because honestly, its not, we just come from an average middle class family, and lead average, usually happy lives" Jake told her, "As for all that stuff about broken limbs and whatnot, you should know right now that I'm a pascifist" he finished, "Jake... wow, thank you" Carolyn muttered, "I'm sorry Neir, but no matter how weird she is, and no matter how embarrasing this is to admit, I DO love my sister, and I don't exactly like it when people insult here" He finished, hoping Neir wouldn't be to angry. After all, Dominique did slit his throat. It's just killed tons of people on either side, and for what? Religion? To prove someone is right? All of these could have been solved easier, without having to kill eachother" Jake went on, "Now, I won't deny that non-sentient animals don't fight, because they do, but they don't do it mindlesly like some humans do! Animals fight and hunt to survive, they fight for territory, and they fight for mates, and some animals don't even FIGHT for these things! Some animals are herbivors and live off of plants, some co-exist with eachother peacefully, sometimes getting a mate comes down to have the brightest, most attractive colors! But humans don't need to kill other humans to survive, they don't need to kill to find a home, and they don't need to kill to get a mate!" He thought to himself that saying that may have put Jake down a little, but he thought of what little you could do in this world. That violence is bad... but it changes things. She exclaimed, Jake laughed a little, "Guess it's just a gift or somthing like that, don't know about gift really, it's not like its helped me in anyway, but still" Jake told her, "Hey! Maybe thats what we can talk about!" Carolyn suggested, "Huh?" He remembered feeding birds in the local park with his Mother. That was the only time he had ever actually touched a bird. His mother had used the seeds to lure the bird into his hands. He used to go to the park all of the time with his mother and father before she died. After that, he would toss seeds for birds, but not a single one ever came down to eat them anymore. His face showed a small frown, as he stood up and said, [color="#008000"]"I'm sorry to eat and run, but I've got something I need to do."[/color] Whenever he remembered his parents, his would go work on bikes or something. It was all to... forget. He walked away, patting Jake on the back. [color="#008000"]"That's pretty cool, Jake.[/color]" He said with a straight face as he walked away. Let's try not to get a cave in!" However then George told him his secret, "An Orphan?" Ludwig was surprised, but he could take it. George's secret wasn't too strange, but it was unexpected. "George... As long as you keep my secret... I'll keep yours." Ludwig said winking at his 'kumpel'. Ludwig then ran ahead of him up the steep mountain, "Come on slowpoke!" He yelled.
