Blackstone Dresden
"You seriously don't like listening much do you?" The mysterious shapeshifter asked, "I already said that I'm ending my turn without attacking you." As if in response, Lavalval Dragoon growled and darted upwards, evidently offended by his inability to destroy the Arcana Force Monster. "Next turn, your Monster will be a lot weaker than he is now, so I can just as easily destroy it then and drop your Life Points 1400 instead of 300." "It wasn't their strength." Mark told Celestia, Neos, and anyone else who had stirred, "Whatever they were, they weren't natural. Our attacks didn't bounce off them, they simply stopped existing when they got close enough, as Bladege had the misfortune of finding out. Before Tara's duplicate melted, one of her Monsters burrowed out of the ground and told her something. She was in this world looking for something and, now that she's found it, she has no reason to come back. From what little I remember of my time as her puppet, Tara's been looking for something in both our worlds. If I ever knew what it was, it's in one of the parts of my mind that I don't have access to... From the looks of it, whatever she was looking for here, she found already, meaning that, if we're lucky, she hasn't found her goal in my world yet and we still have time. It also means that she's most likely going to stay in our world, which gives us the advantage." He looked at Alexander, "When Tara was recalling her Monsters, I got a look at one of their cards. Their stars are on the wrong side of the card and they're colored black, almost like the Dark Synchro Monsters used by the Dark Signers. The one I saw's effect bolstered its own attack points.... somehow, I didn't quiet get the method used, but that was it." He paused and looked at those around him, "Basically, their immunity to all our attacks are a facet of their physical being and not an Effect, meaning that should we meet them on Earth, when they're just Solid Vision, they lose their immunity..." He sighed, "Or I'm wrong and they're just as deadly in either world..."
Rhykotsu
"My move! Draw!" Rhykotsu pulled a card from the top of his deck, looked at it, and thought about his plan. "Alright, Future Fusion activates now. Show yourself, Superalloy Beast Raptinus!" The stitched-up, Gemini supporting dragon appeared on the field without too many theatrics, taking up a 'guarding' defense postion. "We've got nothing to lose! We're gonna give it our all! Summon! Dark Valrkyia!" [2600/650] (Field spell and her effect already calculated) Rhykotsu was always the one who would opt 'go down fighting' than just flat our surrendering. When Raptinus is on the field, all Geminis gain their effects automatically. And thanks to the field spell, all Geminis gained 500 attack, and lost 400 defense. "I'm using her ability, when she's Gemini Summoned, which had been taken care of by Raptinus, I can put one spell counter on her. She gets three hundred attack for each one on her, but that doesn't matter. I can remove one spell counter from her...to destroy one monster you control! Go, Dark Valkryia! AVENGING BLACK FLAME!" The girl only nodded, giving no smart-aleck comment as she gathered up a ball of darkness in her right hand, then shot it at the dragon. "EAT THIS YOU MURDERING BASTARD!" She screamed, the ball, just before impact, became a roaring fire, attacking the Dragoon. Never mind, looks like she was pretty pissed at the fact it helped kill a lot of her friends. "I'm setting Evocater Chevalier to defense mode and ending my turn." LP: 2500 Hand: 0 Monsters: Superalloy Beast Raptinus [2200/2200] (Defense), Dark Valkryia [2300/650] (Effect, Defense), Evocater Chevalier [2300/400] (Effect, Defense) S/T: Future Fusion, Dual Realities (Field Spell) Sorry about forgetting Dual Realities. Reinforce
"That is presuming that your precious dragon remains by then. My turn, Draw. I activate the spell card, Cup of Ace, allowing me to flip a coin and draw two cards if it lands on heads. If I get tails, however, you get to draw two cards instead." Jesse flipped the coin, before looking at the result. "Looks like my luck still stands, the coin came up heads, so I get two more cards, and since I used a spell card, the magician has 2200 ATK again. Also, I'm going to activate one of my new cards, Burden of the Mighty, lowering the attack of your monsters by 100x his level, so Lavalval Dragoon loses 600 ATK, meaning the Magician is stronger by 300 ATK points. Go Arcana Force 1 - The Magician, attack her Lavalval Dragoon." Merci
"I thought words like that were censored." Vaggelis muttered as his Purgatory Dragon - Ogre Dragoon was destroyed. "Impressive!" He said. "But now.. . now it's my turn again, draw!" He jumped into the air and drew a card from his deck, spinning around once as he did so. He landed back onto the ground, and before his flowing cape hit the ground, he made his move. "I activate the spell card POT OF GREED!" No explanation was needed for that card. He drew two new cards from his deck. He failed to notice that there was a Plaguespreader Zombie on my side of the field. The average player would have used a monster in attack position to destroy it, and I would have used that as an opening. Whether he anticipated it, or whether he just didn't plain notice, I can't figure out. "I activate Dark Armed Dragon's effect! I banish the Purgatory Dragon you just destroyed to destroy the Field Spell! Go, Chaotic Dark Final Omega Hyper Super Mega Ultra Divine Shadow Blast Attack!" Once again, a ball of darkness formed in front of Dark Armed Dragon, which then proceeded to destroy the modified surroundings. "And now. . . ." Vaggelis paused for a moment. This grip on him could ruin his strategy. Once again, he faltered for a moment. "I have no choice. I activate the effect of the Plaguespreader Zombie in the graveyard, the one earlier used for Revived King Ha Des! I'll place a card in my hand back on top of my deck, and then I can Special Summon it, though it's removed from play next time it's destroyed!" A second Plaguespreader Zombie then appeared on the field as Vaggelis placed one of his two cards on top of his deck. "Then I activate the spell card Power Rating Increase. Its effect allows me to increase the Levels of all monsters on the field by a measly one. until my next Standby Phase." The entire field was then showered in glittering dust, and all monsters on the field grew on size, but only by a little bit. "Finally, I-" Vaggelis paused again. He clenched his fists. "Finally. . . I. . . ." I already ruined my strategy anyhow. "I OVERLAY MY TWO LEVEL THREE PLAGUESPREADER ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!" He shouted out loud. Suddenly, Vaggelis and Rhykotsu were standing in the middle of what appeared to be the galaxy, with a swirling vortex in the middle. Vaggelis did something weird and instead of sending the two monsters into the graveyard, he stacked them on top of each other before placing the Xyz Monster on top of them. For a second, Rhy had the chance to see it. Instead of Stars, there were three strange black things resembling them coming from the left instead of the right, which were called Ranks. The color scheme itself wasn't simple ordinary colors, instead looking like a galaxy. Two orbs of darkness which were the two earlier Plaguespreader Zombies went into the vortex. "The two Plaguespreader Zombies will open the Overlay network! X-. . . . XYZ SUMMON! Come forth, Black Ray Lancer!" The scene changed back to normal, but the swirling vortex was still there in the middle of the field. Then a massive energy was released from it, and the field was showered in darkness for a few seconds. The thing was, this darkness was more real than the previous Solid Vision darkness. When the darkness disappeared, there was a monster floating besides Dark Armed Dragon. It was a warrior, a lancer if you will, clad in black armor, but it looked aquatic, as its wings looked like those of a fish's fins, and instead of legs it had something similar to the end of a fish, and its very armor looked like one fit for a knight of the ocean. It wielded a red double-edged lance, and there were two orbs of darkness, which were in fact the Plaguespreader Zombies, floating around it (ATK 2100). "These cards are made of antimatter. They came from the other side of a black hole not too long ago. They're the sequel to Synchro Monsters, having Ranks instead of Stars, overlaying their cards instead of sending them to the graveyard, and best of all, only need monsters of the same Level to summon them!" Vaggelis explained. "No hard feelings, alright? Now. . . Dark Armed Dragon, let's go! Destroy his Raptinus! Dark Infernity Blast! And Black Ray Lancer, destroy his Evocater Chevalier, go! Black Lance!" After that, he continued on. "Turn end!" Blackstone Dresden
Ilana simply smirked as her Dragoon was shoved back by the Magician's attack and then proceeded to fly back down and unleash its own attack on him, his attack points having jumped from 1900 to 2300, just enough to destroy Jesse's Arcana Force Monster. She chided Jesse, "I activate the Trap Card, Tyrant Wing and equip it to my Lavalval Dragoon, bolstering his ATK by 400 points and giving him the ability to attack two Monsters you control per turn, so long as the first one is destroyed by battle. Reinforce
"Fine, destroy the magician, but I have stronger monsters then him yet. During my main phase 2 I summon a card I had from the start, a different Arcana Force monster, Arcana Force 0 - The Fool in defense mode, so I get to flick another coin and he gains an effect depending on the result." Jesse flipped his coin up, before it landed on his hand once more. "Tails, which is a better result for him too, as while in tails he negates spells, traps and effect monster's effects that target him and destroys them. His other special effect stops him from being destroyed by battle regardless of the result, so that adds up to one hard to kill monster. Turn end. Rhykotsu
"Gah...looks like I can't win, huh?" Rhykotsu muttered as his monsters were destroyed. Empty hand, empty field. At least he had fun. 'It's all on this draw. Heart of the cards, if you exist, prove it to me!' "Alright, you're a really good duelist! But it's time for me to show you..." Rhykotsu drew his card, looked at it, and finished his sentence "...my true power! Go! Pot of Avarice!" The snow-white activated the spell that he had prayed for, Pot of Avarice. "It lets me grab five monsters from my grave, and shuffle them into my deck! I'm choosing..." his duel-disk flashed, and five monsters came out: Superalloy Beast Raptinus, Evocater Chevalier x2, Gemini Scorpion, Tuned Magician. After placing them back into his deck, the duel-disk automatically shuffled, then put the two cards on top out, which Rhykotsu drew. "And I get to draw two cards!" He looked at his hand. He had a chance. "Alright! First up, I'm playing Monster Reborn! And I'll be taking back my White Dragon Capulus!" The large white dragon returned to the field with a brilliant flash of light. "Next up, I'll use Capulus's effect and turn Valkryia into an effect monster! No, I'm not cheating. When you destroyed Superalloy, she turned back into a normal monster. So essentially, she can use her effect again! But hold on! I'm not done yet!" Rhykotsu moved Capulus from his monster zone back to the grave. "What am I doing, you ask? I'm tributing Capulus to advance (tribute) summon Knight of the Red Lotus! And when Capulus is sent to the grave, I can choose one Gemini Monster from my grave and special summon it! Out comes Chtonian Emperor Dragon!" Cue flashback. Rhykotsu had played Future Fusion and sent that dragon to the grave. "Next up, I'm using Knight of the Red Lotus's ability, and resurrecting the Evocater Chevalier that I left in my grave! Be resurrected, valiant knight!" Rhykotsu looked at his field, no spells or traps, just four monsters. They nodded at each-other, and looked forward. "So how is it? This is our all out attack! Dark Valkryia! Destroy Dark Armed Dragon using your spell counter! Avenging Dark Flame!! Battle phase! Chthonian Emperor Dragon, attack his Black Ray Lancer! Everyone else, all systems go! Attack!" Whatever happened next would probably determine the duel. Merci
Vaggelis crossed his arms, impressed as Rhykotsu managed to make a mirculous comeback. His Dark Armed Dragon was destroyed by Dark Valkryia's effect, and Chthonian Emperor Dragon successfully destroyed his Black Ray Lancer. Finally, the last two monsters, Evocater Chevalier and Knight of the Red Lotus attacked him directly, knocking him back a few feet and thus making him lose the duel (Vaggelis 0). "I am impressed." He said. "You certainly are stronger than the average duelist." He pointed up into the sky. "You are capable of becoming a true hero, Duelist. And thus I shall reveal my identity: I am the Ultimate King of Games Superseding All Time Forever!" He then did another ridiculous pose. "You're a very powerful duelist! Maybe it was just luck or something, but you're still pretty impressive! Unfortunately, I, Vaggelis, the Most Freakin' Powerful Duel King in the Entire Cosmos, was fighting at only 30% of my power! This entire deck only utilizes that much of my power!" He seemed to be shouting into the sky at this point, bragging. "I deem that you are capable of standing up to at most 50%! No, you aren't the Duel King because you didn't beat me officially, by the way, and I was only using my 30% power deck! Besides, everyone knows Plaguespreader Zombie is limited, but once again this duel was unofficial! I am so powerful than you can't stand up to my 100% power!" Then suddenly his face seemed to turn more serious and he faced the duelist. "I have my eye on you, Rhykotsu. Find the Signers. Against us, in their current condition they wouldn't stand a chance. You could be a useful ally to them. Darkness is brewing." And with that, his body was enveloped in darkness, before disappearing completely, leaving no trace of his ever being there. Rhykotsu
"Haaaah...haaah....haaaah..." After the duel Rhykotsu caught his breath, and watched as his monsters lost their 'solid illusion' becoming Duel Spirits once more. "Good job, guys. We won, somehow." The monsters nodded. and Valrkyia gave an obnoxious grin. "Of course we did!" The rest of the monsters only nodded, then faded away. The snow-white looked at the opposing duelist, listening to his monologue. The guy seemed cool enough, maybe a bit dramatic. He kept on acting as if he were in a movie or something. "I am impressed," the duelist said. "So am I." Was Rhykotsu's reply. The only way he had won was his lucky draw. "You certainly are stronger than the average duelist." The man pointed up into the sky. "You are capable of becoming a true hero, Duelist. And thus I shall reveal my identity: I am the Ultimate King of Games Superseding All Time Forever!" He exclaimed, getting into a ridiculous pose that would probably look cooler from another angle. The only reaction Rhykotsu gave was a blink of his eyes. "You're a very powerful duelist! Maybe it was just luck or something, but you're still pretty impressive! Unfortunately, I, Vaggelis, the Most Freakin' Powerful Duel King in the Entire Cosmos, was fighting at only 30% of my power! This entire deck only utilizes that much of my power!" The man started ranting at the sky, but it was easy to tell that he was addressing Rhykotsu. "Oh? Nice to meet you, Vaggelis. I'm Rhykotsu." His reply went apparently unnoticed, as Vaggelis continued: "I deem that you are capable of standing up to at most 50%! No, you aren't the Duel King because you didn't beat me officially, by the way, and I was only using my 30% power deck! Besides, everyone knows Plaguespreader Zombie is limited, but once again this duel was unofficial! I am so powerful than you can't stand up to my 100% power!" Rhykotsu sweatdropped as Vaggelis tried to prove that he was stronger than that, then said something about Rhykotsu not becoming Duel King. "Ah, I don't really want to become Duel King, sorry." Then he said that the tuner he used was limited, to which Rhykotsu nodded. "Yeah." Then suddenly his face seemed to turn more serious and he faced the duelist. "...what? Hey! What do you mean!" Rhykotsu chased after him, but found that he had completely disappeared. "King of Duels, huh? Where have i heard of that before...?" He strolled on through the streets, walking right past of poster of Vaggelis summoning his Dark Armed Dragon. Something about him premiering somewhere today/tonight, but since Rhykotsu walked right past it, he didn't notice. "What do you guys think?" Future Samurai and Dark Valkryia appeared beside him, walking. "Well he's right at one point; something evil's going on- Pffttt!" A fly flew through her face, and she swatted at it. "I hate it when bugs go through me, it's so uncomfortable!" She exclaimed, glaring at the flown-away bug distastefully. "...yes. You should seek out these 'Signers' and see if you can assist them. That 'Exceed' monster...we haven't told you, but Chthonian Emperor Dragon was heavily wounded in the battle." Rhykotsu looked at him, surprised. "What!? That shouldn't be possible!" He paused to brush some hair out of his eyes, and continued. "Monsters don't 'battle out' it's only one hit, right? Merci
By then, Vaggelis was already in another duel. ". . . The star of death that shines at the zenith of the heavens! "Oh and you should take duels less seriously! They don't determine the end of the world!!!!!!!!!" Another duel taken care off. He thought. Now that I think about it, I've been neglecting Tara-chan's will, not doing anything to gain the Signers' attention. Oh wait, I have a Xanatos Gambit planned! Yeah, that kid Duelist is gonna find a Signer, mention me, and then the Signers will seek me. . .! It's perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Man, I'm so awesome! And what do I do then? Um. . . . . I have no idea, but I'm supposed to divert their attention from Tara-chan. . . and um. I know! I will fight them all with my 100% power! They won't stand a chance! And they're just gonna keep on trying to beat me, and I'll keep them occupied. When I beat the first of them, I'll run off, they find me again, I beat them again. . . Perfect! The Level five Dragon appeared in front of Mark and stood stone still while Alexander finished his turn. "Come on guys." He said as he drew, bringing his hand up to four cards and smirking, "If Alexander and I are the only ones that are taking this Duel seriously, this isn't gonna be a lot of fun." He isolated one of his cards and tossed the other three up into the air, revealing them as General Grunard of the Ice Barrier, Geomancer of the Ice Barrier, and Blizzed, Defender of the Ice Barrier, "I activate Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier, revealing the three Ice Barriers in my hand to destroy Ratchet and Special Summon Grunard from my hand." The Level 8 Warrior appeared on the field and shot a barrage of icicles at Alexander's DH Monster, "Then, I Summon the Level 3 Tuner Monster Geomancer of the Ice Barrier, and, using Grunard's effect, Summon Blizzed as well. Reinforce
Jesse stood there stoticly as he was hit with the pain. "Isn't it a good move that I have one more card left to use then, trap card activate, Damage Ccondenser, allowing me to discard one card to special summon a monster from my deck with a lesser or equal attack strength, and I choose Arcana Force 6 - The Lovers, which means I get my coin toss again." Jesse watched as the coin flicked into the air, falling into his palm. Tails again, so I can't tribute summon Arcana Force monsters. Regardless, I still have faith in my deck and the will to succeed, Draw. Thankfully, with this card, your dragon will finally be banished from the field, and your life points damaged, I tribute both of my monsters, and before you ask, since i am not tribute summoning an Arcana Force monster, the Lovers won't have any effect. Tribute summon, now the ancient greek goddess will rise to my side, appear Athena, and attack her dragon with burning spear strike." Jesse watched as Athena plunged her spear towards the weaker dragon, wanting to see if his opponent would use that face down which had taken the effect of his Defence Draw or leave it for now. Blackwing-Master
After a while, James and Jasmine left the building and got on their D-wheels. Blackstone Dresden
As James and Jasmine drove off, however, the road ahead of them was suddenly blocked off by a golden tank-like Machine with a cannon for each arm, "I don't think so, James." Singlus told the two as he got out of Nora's limo, after which his Monster vanished and a silver D Wheel drove itself out of the alleyway, having been apparently following Nora's limo since they left Tara's lair between the worlds, "My Deck wants your blood after the dishonor you've caused it, and I am more than willing to satiate it." The ex-Professor's Duel Disk activated itself and he smirked maliciously, "Jasmine, had I been working alone, you would be free to leave. The Trap Hunter leaped into the battlefield, taking the destroyed Lavalval Dragoon's place on the battlefield, "Anything else?" She asked her opponent, and, after he answered in the negative, she drew her card, bringing her hand up to three, "Perfect." She smiled, setting one card face-down, "I Activate the Continuous Spell Card Level Limit - Area B, which moves all Level 4 or higher Monsters into Defense Position and prevents them from changing their Battle Positions for as long as it remains on the field." Ilana's previous Trap Card was joined by its high level counterpart as Jesse's Athena was forced into a defensive stance, "Then, I Normal Summon the Level 3 Tuner Monster Laval Lady of the Burning Lake." The shapeshifter's Trap Monster was joined by a small girl in a blue dress that promptly had its ATK reduced to 0 by Burden of the Mighty, "Now then, I Overlay my Level 3 Laval Lady and Laval Trap Hunter. The two Monsters will open a portal to the Overlay network! Xyz Summon! Blaze on, Lavalval Ignis!" The alleyway Jesse and Ilana were in inverted in color as a red spiral portal appeared between her two Monsters, sucking them in and combining them into a black suit of armor with flames for a head and hands appeared, after which everything went back to its normal color, "Laval Lady's effect activates. Kingdom Xathers
"GAH!!!" Alexander gasped as the cold from Trishula's effect struck his fingers like a cobra's bite. He dropped the now frozen "Sly Cooper - HD" from his hands, which vanished before hitting the floor, along with Ratchet and his companion. "I guess I should be thankful that my deck works best with the Banished Zone," Alexander said with a slight smile. "When Sly Cooper - DH is Banished for any reason, he takes two of my opponent's cards with him! That is... if you had a hand to begin with," he added, realizing that Mark's hand had no cards to Banish. "I'll repay you for that later, Mark, but for now it's Wolfram's turn." Alexander then turned to the Lightsworn Duelist. "Don't hold back, Wolfram." Without much response to Alexander, Wolfram began his turn with his draw. "I Normal Summon Jenis, Lightsworn Mender in Defense Position." The familiar red-headed healer of the Lightsworns took her place next to Jain (300/2100). "Next, I'll have Jain attack Stratos with Devoted Sword! And since she's attacking, Jain gains an additional 300 Attack Points, bringing her power up to 2100!" The Lightsworn Paladin charged forward, sword in hand encased in a devine aura, prepared to strike down the flying HERO. "Trap Card open!" Luisa cried out. "Go, Hallowed Life Barrier!" A trio of cloaked maidens appeared in front of Mark and Luisa, a glowing barrier surrounding them both. "By discarding one card from my hand--in this case, Destiny HERO - Dasher--I can reduce any and all damage we take this turn to zero. Sadly, it won't protect Stratos but at least our Life Points are safe." Though Jain's attack was relatively uninterrupted as she struck Stratos down, the resulting shockwave from the HERO's destruction was absorbed by the maidens' barrier. "Anything else, boys?" Giving off a slight huff, Wolfram placed another card face-down. "I'll enter my End Phase, which causes Jain's effect to discard the top two cards of my Deck to the Graveyard." Again, Wolfram appeared to hesitate as he reached for the top of his Deck. "Wolfram, snap out of it!" Umbris snapped at the Lightsworn Duelist, causing everyone to jump. "If you end up sending Wulf's card to the Graveyard, it's going to the Graveyard, no ifs, ands or--!" "Umbris!" "This has to be said, Alexander!" said the N.E.X.'d Neo-Spacian. "If he's going to keep this up in a practice duel, how is he going to fair in an actual duel for his life? And don't think this lecture doesn't include you too, Luisa," he added with a stern look toward the young woman. "I'm not saying this to be a prick--and trust me, you'll know when I'm being a prick. I know you two are hurting, we've all been affected by this, but if you two keep this up--not playing your best cards for whatever reason--then who's to say that you'll ever recover from this? You two have to be strong, you especially, Luisa," Umbris added with yet another look toward Luisa. "You have to be, not just for Wildheart, but for yourself as well." Wolfram hung his head to the side, reflecting on what Umbris had said, while Luisa almost seemed close to tears. "... he's... he's right," Wolfram admitted. "We all have to overcome this. Luisa needs to find her own strength, and I... need to face my demons." With that, he sent the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, they being Solar Recharge and.... "Now, from my Graveyard, I Special Summon Wulf, Lightsworn Beast!" with a flash of light, the form of the former Lightsworn werewolf appeared before Wolfram (2100/300). Heaving a deep sigh as he looked upon the image of his former partner, Wolfram continued, "and since I've sent at least one card to my Graveyard due to the effect of a Lightsworn, Jenis's ability activates, dealing 500 points of damage to your Life Points while increasing our Life Points by 500." The Lightsworn Mender released a healing aura on Wolfram and Alexander, increasing their Life Points to 4500, and then proceeded to fire an orb of energy at Luisa and Mark, which would have damaged them if not for the Hallowed Life Barrier still in effect. "Your Barrier may have protected you now, but fortune won't be smiling upon you for long. I end my turn." Sniffling a bit, Luisa wiped her eyes before drawing her next card. "Thanks to Dasher's effect, I can Special Summon Elemental HERO Bladedge from my hand since I've drawn him." The golden minotaur-like HERO appeared, both arm-blades primed to attack (2600/1800). "I miss my arm...," said the real Bladedge as he watched the duel from the sidelines along with the other injured Duel Monsters. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Luisa continued, "I now play Polymerization! By fusing the two HEROs in my hand--Necroshade and Wildheart--I can Fusion Summon Elemental HERO Necroid Shaman!" A portal opened up on the ground, out of which arrived the kabuki-esque warrior (1900/1800). "When Necroid Shaman is Fusion Summoned, I can destroy one of my opponent's monsters and replace it with another monster from your Graveyard." As she said that, she gave a quick glance towards Wulf's double. "I've got a bigger plan for you," she said to herself as she declared, "Necroid Shaman, send Jain, Lightsworn Paladin to the Graveyard, then bring out Alexander's Shank - DH to replace her!" On her command, the Shaman opened a portal underneath the Lightsworn Paladin, from which black hands grabbed and pulled her down into the dark abyss. Seconds later, another portal appeared to unceremoniously throw out Shank onto the field. The bandana'd ex-hitman looked around, confused (1800/1200). "Don't get too comfortable, because I'm attacking Shank with Bladedge! Saber's Slash!" Bladedge's attack sent Shank to the Graveyard as unceremoniously as he was summoned (A & W LP: 3700). "I end my turn. This allows me to Special Summon one of my Banished DH monsters to my side of the field by sending one card from my hand to the Graveyard. So, I send Rowdy - DH to the Graveyard and Special Summon Sly Cooper - DH from the Banished Zone!" A portal opened up and dropped off a still-freezing Sly onto the field (1600/1800). "I then Tribute Sly in order to Tribute Summon Marcus Fenix - DH!" The raccoon thief disappeared, replaced by the six-foot tall Soldier who readied his chainsaw bayonet (2000/1700).
