[color=blue]"Yeah, I'm fine." Mark told Alexander, "Like I said, background noise." The Moon King said, recalling all of his Monsters save for Gantala Zero and Penguin Soldier, the former taking one look at Umbris and dropping the NEX Spacian, the latter waddling over to the cat, cocking its head curiously, and then trying to take a bite out of the DARK Monster. "Gantala... Really?"

"He was getting fur on my armor." The Ice Barrier/HERO hybrid told his master, "This is a rental for Neos' sake!"[/color]

[color=silver]"Yeah... You're probably..." Chris started before Caleb smacked him upside the head.[/color]

[color=gold]"Nonsense! All you need is a haircut and maybe some nail clippers. Just wear your hair down over your ears and we'll give you a mask. You're going to need it since you're probably going to be handling painting and sandblasting anyway if the rat thing's right and you don't have any prior experience."[/color]

[color=crimson]Aporia nodded and set his D Wheel on autopilot to follow James, retreating into his own mind while they drove to see how bad Tara's influence was on her Machines. Over ten minutes later, just as the pair was pulling up to Jasmine and her opponent, "My Reactors are too far gone..." He reported solemnly, "They were too closely tied to Dark Flattop so all the corruption in him spread to the others."[/color]

"Kid, I live in your soul now and no one else can see me." Ivy said, hovering in front of Dan and whacking him on the head with her staff, "You're either putting cats in your Deck, or we're going to have a problem."

"Thats, too bad," James replied to Aporia's news. "But I'm sure you can go on dueling with just the Meklords." James noticed figures in the distance, and crates hanging above two of them. "Jasmine?"

As the duel came to a close, Jasmine could here D-Wheels from behind her. [i]One of those d-wheel riders has to be James...[/i]

"Then we're gonna have problems!" Dan said loudly, while walking down stairs and into the kitchen, his mom sitting at the kitchen table drinking a cut of coffee. "Trouble with what, Daniel?" He walked right passed her, grabbed a granola bar from the cabinet, and walked out saying, "Nothing mom, heading out, see you later, bye!" He walked out the door not even checking to see if Ivy had followed. "I'm worried about him somethings," his mom said, before returning to her coffee.
Dan walked down the street. "Like I said before, I run machines. Machines and cats don't mix. I'll use you, but I'm not completely changing my deck to suit you."

[color=crimson]"It was a calculated risk." He said sadly, "They knew what they were getting in to, they volunteered for it." He started methodically removing each and every Reactor support card from his Deck and placed them inside of a smaller Deck box, replacing each card he took out with another card from a third box containing his VWXYZ Monsters. "So, how well do you think Jasmine will take finding out that her teacher was actually an omnicidal robot in a past life?"[/color]

"We don't?" Ivy asked, "You haven't heard of [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Beast_Machine_King_Barbaros_%C3%9Cr"]Beast Machine King Barbaros Ür[/url], have you?" The Magicat said, walking in midair at about eye level with Dan, "Half Beast, half Machine. Sounds like something that you could fit into your Deck in order to prevent me from doing something like this." Ivy said, snapping her fingers and casting an illusion over Dan, making it look like the color in the world just got inverted for a brief second.

[color=#4b0082]"HEY! STOP, CUT IT OUT!!"[/color] Umbris yelped as he was pecked at by Penguin Soldier. He began to scurry off, stopping to give a swift kick to Gantala Zero's foot on his way.

[color=#ff0000]"Hey, why don't we head back to HERO Headquarters?"[/color] suggested Alexander. [color=#ff0000]"We can keep Nathaniel here up to pace as to what's been going on recently."[/color] The lombax paused for a second as a thought occurred to him. [color=#ff0000]"...wait, how did you get into the Duel Monsters dimension anyway, Nathaniel?"[/color]

[color=#008000]"Hmm?"[/color] muttered the Naturia Duelist. [color=#008000]"Wait, you mean... you didn't feel it, Professor?"[/color]

[color=#ff0000]"Nate,"[/color] sighed the lombax, [color=#ff0000]"I'm not your professor anymore, remember? And what do you mean, "didn't feel it"--?"[/color] As soon as the words left his lips, a sharp pang spread through Alexander's right forearm. He looked down to see that his Claw Mark had begun to glow a bright red. [color=#ff0000]"It's... reacting...?"[/color] He then looked back towards Nate, and was somewhat taken aback by what he saw; a symbol was now also visible through Nathaniel's sleeve, this one glowing a brilliant shade of blue. In addition, behind the Naturia duelist floated a serpentine outline. [color=#ff0000]"Wait, does this mean you're a...?"[/color]

[color=#008000]"A Signer,"[/color] Nathaniel replied. [color=#008000]"A Sub-Signer, to be exact. Still don't know how that happened, but I'm sure you guys can explain that to me. As for how I got here, well... let's just say that I rode the ol' Crimson Dragon Express to get here.[/color]"

"Guess these kid's ain't gonna give us any other choice, huh?" Burglar sighed. "We may as well give dis a try, right? Can't be too bad for ya."

The beast-man stayed silent, giving a quick glance to the Moja in his hands, the black furry blob contorting itself as if it were tilting its head to one side. Heaving out a deep, whimpering sigh, the beast-man soon relented. [color=#2f4f4f]"... ... f... fine.... I'll... come with you, even i-if for a *hmmmm* while...."[/color] With that, he put the Moja up to his face, the creature transforming once more into the beast-man's mask and cloak. [color=#2f4f4f]"... lead... the way."[/color]

"Wolfram," spoke up Ryko as soon as Wulf was gone, "we should get back to the others. No telling what's happened since the lombax left us here."

[color=#a9a9a9]"... in a moment," [/color]replied Wolfram as he made his way toward Celestia, who was beginning to regain consciousness. [color=#a9a9a9]"Madam Celestia, are you feeling alright?"[/color]

[font=times new roman,times,serif]"Even if my body would be shattered... I shall survive as long as my spirit is intact,"[/font] groaned the Lightsworn Angel. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"... thankfully, my body is still in one piece as well... for the most part."[/font]

[color=#a9a9a9]"I'm glad,"[/color] said Wolfram, a small smile on his face. He gave a quick look around, seeing all of the still battered and unconscious Lightsworns scattered around the temple. [color=#a9a9a9]"... are you going to be able to manage? Without Jenis, I mean,"[/color] he added, remembering that Wulf was still holding Jenis captive somewhere.

[font=times new roman,times,serif]"... I am more worried about her, in all honesty,"[/font] Celestia said as she gingerly got to her feet. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"I pray that Wulf hasn't harmed her."[/font]

[color=#a9a9a9]"So do I...."[/color] Wolfram pulled out his Lightsworn deck, drawing the top card and staring at it: Wulf, Lightsworn Beast. [i][color=#a9a9a9]"... I swear... I'll bring you back from this, Wulf...."[/color][/i]

Celestia gave a slight sigh, then reached over to one of her wings and plucked one of its snowy white feathers. The feather gave off a soft glow in her hand before it changed into a Spell Card. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"Spell open: [b]Rain of Mercy[/b]."[/font] As the words left the Angel's lips, a soft rumbling could be heard coming from the sky. Wolfram looked up just as a single drop of rain splattered against the lens of his glasses. Soon rain began to pour, increasing in downpour as it washed over all who were in the Temple. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"Worry not about us here, Wolfram,"[/font] Celestia assured the Duelist. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"But please, find some way to rescue Jenis."[/font]

[color=#a9a9a9]"I will, I promise,"[/color] nodded Wolfram. He pulled another card from the inside of his coat. [color=#a9a9a9]"Never thought I'd ever be using this one,"[/color] he said after giving the card a quick glance, a slight chuckle escaping his lips. [color=#a9a9a9]"Activating Spell: [b]Back to Square One[/b]!"[/color] A glowing square suddenly appeared at Wolfram's feet, surrounding both himself and Ryko, its light building in intensity until it, Wolfram and Ryko vanished in a blink.

[color=blue]Gantala Zero responded to Umbris' kick by lifting him up by the scruff of his neck and plopping him down next to Penguin Solider again, who continued pecking at the poor cat.

Mark simply shook his head at Gantala Zero, "Not being very heroic are you?"

"I'm not a HERO, I just borrowed the armor." Came the retort, "Can you blame me? This stuff is pretty awesome."

Mark simply sighed, "Luisa, any chance you and I can work out a deal for the Absolute Zero card?" He asked.

"And maybe dinner too." Snarked Gantala on Mark's behalf,

"Don't make me put you on penguin sitting duty."[/color]

[color=gold]"Wait... That's it?" Caleb asked, shocked, "That's all? You're going with us? No Duel to decide your fate? Wow, I'm kinda underwhelmed."[/color]

[color=silver]"Moron." Chris said, smacking the back of his twin's head and sighing frustratedly.[/color]

[Kingdom Xathers]

[color=#2f4f4f]"... a... duel...?"[/color] Said the cloaked beast-man, tilting his head to one side. [color=#2f4f4f]"... I... honestly didn't th-think about that p-p-possibility...."[/color] He pulled his left arm from under his cloak, revealing a battered Duel-Disk attached to it. He made as if to draw a card from the Deck slot... but then put his arms back down to his sides.

[color=#2f4f4f]"M... maybe s-s-s-some other... time...,"[/color] he spoke in a timid yet dismissive manner, not being in the mood to face more of those toy-like monsters, especially both at once.

[color=#4b0082]"ACK!! OW!!!!"[/color] Umbris yowled as Gantala-Zero held him towards the Penguin Soldier to get pecked at some more. [color=#4b0082]"Gantala, you DOUCHESTICK!!!"[/color]

Alexander could not help but laugh out loud at this spectacle, whilst Luisa, sharing in Mark's sentiments, sighed as well. [color=#daa520]"Well, I do have about four copies of Absolute Zero's Fusion Card, so I guess I could give one to you--" [/color] She paused halfway through her sentence upon hearing Gantala's proposal, and blushed violently. [color=#daa520]"D-d-dinner?! Wha--? I-I-I'm not sure I could--I mean, it's not that I don't--I mean--I--I-I-I--!"[/color] Luisa knelt down, grabbed a random piece of Bladedge's armor and tossed it at Gantala-Zero's head. [color=#daa520]"Gantala, you JERK!"[/color]

The lombax began laughing harder than before as Nathaniel joined in. Mid-guffaw, Nathaniel stopped laughing as he looked around, realizing something. [color=#008000]"Hey, where's Wildheart? I thought he's normally with... you...?"[/color] Nathaniel trailed off as he realized that Alexander had ceased his laughing, and Luisa's face went from looking flustered to solemn. Even Umbris stopped complaining about the Penguin that was attempting to rip his tail from his backside. [color=#008000]"... is there... something I should know?"[/color]

Alexander looked over at Luisa, whose eyes seemed to begin filling with tears. [color=#ff0000]"... yes... something terrible happened a few weeks ago...."[/color]




Eventually, the group made their way back to HERO HQ, which was still in a bit of disarray, but was now a bit more tidier than it had been earlier since Tara's assault on the building.

[color=#ff0000]"... and Wulf's not even the least of our worries,"[/color] Alexander continued to explain to Nathaniel, [color=#ff0000]"but on top of that, Tara's been going around doing Lord-knows-what, trying to find this... thing... and she's brought over these bizarre new creatures from another dimension with her. Already we've had to face a whole army of them here at the Headquarters, and who knows where [i]they[/i] are right now."[/color]

By this time, Nathaniel's face seemed dumbstruck as he tried to register everything that had just been described to him. All he could manage to do was ask, [color=#008000]"... and where's Mr. Collingwood?"[/color]

At this, Alexander could not help but to strike his own face with an open palm. [color=#ff0000]"Dammit, I left Wolfram back at the Realm of Light! I should get back there and--!"[/color]

[color=#a9a9a9]"No need to, Mr. Abernathy."[/color] Everyone turned to look down the hall to see Wolfram and Ryko approach them. [color=#a9a9a9]"I managed to find my own way back. No need to apologize,"[/color] he added as soon as Alexander opened his mouth to say something. [color=#a9a9a9]"I have ways of taking care of myself... it seems."[/color]

The lombax cleared his throat. [color=#ff0000]"... well, uh, glad to see you made it back okay.[/color]" A closer look, however, told Alexander something else about Wolfram. [color=#ff0000]"... what happened over there?"[/color]

The Lightsworn Duelist gave a shaky sigh upon being asked this question. [color=#a9a9a9]"... Wulf... he... ...."[/color]

[font=times new roman,times,serif]"Wulf betrayed one of his own subordinates,"[/font] Ryko spoke up, finishing Wolfram's sentence for him. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"Zerato... didn't make it."[/font]

Luisa gasped, covering her mouth with both hands, then turn on her heel and rushed toward the I.C.U.. Umbris, who had since recovered from the effects of "Shrink", ran after her.

[color=gold]Caleb took one look at the man's half broken Duel Disk and whistled, "Ya know, I could probably fix that thing up for you." He said, "It looks like you might have run it through a trash compacter a couple of times, but I've done more with less."[/color]

[color=silver]"You haven't done anything with anything." Chris retorted.[/color]

[color=gold]"Look whose talking, your job consists of doodling on a piece of paper and then passing it off to Drake."[/color]

[color=blue]Gantala caught the armor piece and set it on the ground again, "This. Is. A. RENTAL." He said again, getting incredibly frustrated, though he regained his composure immediately when Wildheart was mentioned, as did Mark and Penguin Soldier, who stopped trying to eat Umbris and instead waddled over to Luisa and leaped into her arms, where he remained for the walk to HERO HQ.

As soon as Luisa made a run for the ICU, however, both Mark and Gantala Zero ran after her and Umbris, "Seriously," Gantala muttered, "Dinner, movie, your treat. Go for it."

"Not the time, Gantala."[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"Luisa, wait!"[/color] Umbris called out as he, Mark and Gantala Zero chased after her, only coming to a halt upon seeing Luisa stop right in front of the ICU's doors, but not going inside. Luisa pressed her head again the door, her breathing heavy from her running, as well as from the rage building up within her.

[color=#daa520]"Why...?!"[/color] asked the E-HERO Duelist as she slammed a fist against the door. [color=#daa520]"Why... why is he DOING THIS?!!"[/color] She slammed her fist a few more times, but during her fifth or so swing, the doors had slid open and her fist instead collided with Bubbleman's face.

"OWCH! Whadideye do?" blurted out the HERO, having been knocked to the floor and now sporting a bleeding nose.

[color=#4b0082]"Jeez, Bubbleman!"[/color] Umbris yiped as he directed Luisa to a nearby bench. [color=#4b0082]"We're sorry, Luisa didn't mean anything by it! [i]I hope[/i],"[/color] he added in a hushed tone. He sat the violently trembling Luisa down on the bench and took a seat next to her. [color=#4b0082]"Luisa, you really need to calm down for a moment--"[/color]

[color=#daa520]"How can I be calm?!"[/color] Luisa hissed. [color=#daa520]"How, when that... that... MADMAN is going around stabbing everyone in the back?! People who TRUSTED him!!"[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"I know, Luisa. I know this is very frustrating for you, but... ohhh...,"[/color] Umbris trailed off as he struggled to come up with what to say next. Indeed, this problem with Wulf has hit far close to home, not just for Luisa, but Wolfram, too, as well as the other E-HEROes, but how could Umbris get Luisa to....

[color=#4b0082]"Mark, c'mere,"[/color] Umbris called in a hushed voice. [color=#4b0082]"I know this is asking a lot, but try to get Luisa to calm down."[/color]

"What a waste of life." Vaggelis muttered to himself, slowly advacing towards the defeated duelist. "You had a lot of potential, kid, but I guess this is how it ends, in the end."

They were in a dark cavern-like place, and he almost regretted having had to kill the guy that he himself had earlier given advice. But he had to do what was necessary. But before that, he held out his hand and the Dark Valkyria card owned by the guy suddenly levitated from the batten Duel Disk and flew into his left hand. For a second or so, the Duel Spirit in it tried to resist, but he easily suppressed it. It was a rather useless card, but he was fond of collecting DARK cards.

"Rhykotsu, was it? Goodbye."

As soon as he was close enough, he thrust his right hand into the duelist's chest, and pulled out his heart, still beating. Immediately a fountain of blood spewed from the chest, slowly covering the now-dead body in blood, as well as his hand.The sight made Vaggelis a bit uncomfortable, and he took a few steps backward. He looked down at the heart now in his hand, still attempting to beat, although it was no longer attached to the body. And he crushed it in his hand. Just like a water balloon, it burst, sending blood flying everywhere. A gruesome mess.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Aki woke up in the cavern, only to realize what had happened. This...thing...had dragged her down here...and he was talking about...something...She rubbed her head, trying to figure out what had happened, but when she looked at her hand again, she discovered blood all over her head, and dripping down very parts of her body. She then spotted the dead body of Rhykotsu, and the one who killed him. [color=#FF1493]"Please..."[/color] She whispered softly, her eyes wide with fear. [color=#FF1493]"Don't kill me...I'm sorry...whatever I did..."[/color] She tried to stand up, slipping a bit on the blood-soaked floor. [color=#FF1493]"I'll...I'll duel you...for my life..."[/color] She hesitantly readied her Duel Disk, not sure what her opponent might do.

Vaggelis sighed, but he readied his Duel Disk anyway. "Well, alright, I guess." He said. "But just so you know, you're dueling the [b]frikin' Almighty Most Powerful Duel King [i]EVER[/i]. [/b]Sure you don't wanna just stay there and get your heart popped like this kid here?" He gave her no chance to reply, for he suddenly assumed a Power Rangers-esque pose and activated his Duel Disk. The cavern was lit only by candles and the light of the Duel Disks themselves. Despite his hilarious manor of talking and moving, his right hand was still covered in blood, he himself looking almost creepy in the dim light. "Well, if you really wanna duel for your life. . . . ."

He jumped back a meter in order to allow for more space, and so he wasn't standing on any blood and within one pull drew five cards from his deck. Technically, from his position, he was forcing the girl to duel right besides the gore-covered dead body of Rhykotsu, to stand on a growing puddle of blood."Good luck and have fun." He said mockingly. "You can go first, girl. [b][i]DUEL!"[/i][/b]
