ragnarok1945
I'm considering it, hopefully it's not going to end with the human race near TOTAL extinction I still hope for a LITTLE more resistance in the sequels
Garthfunkle Vii Backwards
IT LOOKS GOOD but .......... it will be a pretty long boring snoze fest explain everything and how the apes start taking over the world the good parts when the apes trying to take over which will be close to the end
ragnarok1945
yeah and if that's going to last just like 20 min and all that, then it's not worth it
Dr. Cakey
It looks almost as good as Cowboys and Aliens, which I'm confident will take a solid second place to oh, say...Clash of the Titans. THAT MEANS IT LOOKS TERRIBLE
Flame Dragon
My gut tells me to really enjoy this movie you would need to have seen the original Planet of the Apes to enjoy it. Still, it looks interesting so I want to see it.

Jake the Sage
I am certain he is referring to the original, though the new one is an inventive reimagining of the original. In fact it looks like THIS prequel is more like it is tied off to the 2001 version than the actual original. I probably think it will be good, if only to serve as a more expansive explination of how things came to be. On a side note, too many "of the" in the title XP

Kelp'
James Franco annoys me for some reason. But it does look pretty interesting.

Icy
I'm actually going to really love this movie as a prequel instead of a reboot. If there is an actual reboot of the original... no. The 200X one isnt even that outdated and found it to be a great movie. Regardless, watching this opening weekend.

ragnarok1945
well all I know is Caesar had a better morality compared to the 2001 Planet of the Apes film. In there, all the humans were nothing but slaves. In here at the end, at least Caesar allowed his care taker Will to survive
Icy
The movie was nothing short of amazing for me. Sure it's a bit slow paced at first but that's what it is; a film of curiosity.

Kazekage dragon
I may be interested in seeing it does anyone recommend it? Do they eventually talk in the film? (Not sure since the trailers never show any talking with the apes or Ceaser.)
Honestly, just watch it if you're interested, even if you dont like it it's very watchable and you'll get your monies worth. Provided you dont buy those ridiculously expensive drinks... $1.69 at the 7-11 across the street. $5.50 for a drink of the same size in the theater. My ticket was $7.50 (matinee prices ftw).
