CommanderVolt
DP10 - Savior Star Dragon Dragon/Synchro/Effect 3800/3000

"Majestic Dragon" + "Stardust Dragon" + 1 non-Tuner monster You can Tribute this card to negate the activation of an opponent's Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect and destroy all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, you can negate the effect(s) of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls until the End Phase. Also, if the negated effect can be activated, you can activate it once as this card's effect. During the End Phase, return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Graveyard. Discuss the original Stardust upgrade. Blake
So powerful, it's a shame its so had to use. As said in the Savior Demon/Majestic Red Dragon thread, we need a better Salvation Dragon - Savior/Majestic Dragon, and then this would be amazing. Shizuku Oikawa
*saves pic for future purposes and plans next thread* OT: Cards of Consanance and Kinka-Byo is probably the only thing that makes any of Majestic playable. evilfusion
There's a number of downsides. First, Majestic Dragon is a horrible Tuner, although usable with Cards of Consonance. Second, it must use exactly 1 non-Tuner, meaning a lot of shenanigans that would be otherwise possible can't really be used. Shooting Star Dragon just trumps this card immensely because Formula Synchron is actually usable, for the same effort: A level 1 Tuner + Level 1 non-Tuner + Stardust. You'd get a draw and something that stays on the field for more than one turn. That said, its ability to steal effects is interesting, and the opposing field nuke, while relatively pointless, can get around Skill Drain. Skill Drain therefore likes this card: A 3800 beater that can negate something and nuke the field. Without Skill Drain, the card just doesn't work well, and I prefer Majestic Red for the quick 4000 damage. It does look awesome, though.
