I give respect to ones that deserve, and frankly, that's not too many of them.

That is true, but also sad considering half of the Mod force is Inactive

I'll tell you this, I respect some of the Mods who are actually on regularly enough a whole lot f*cking more than I do YCMaker or Falling Pizza <_<

I've seen some of the Mods go out of their way to help me, a friend or respond quickly to an inquiry I have.
THOSE Mods are the ones I hold the utmost respect for and would listen to when they come in and tell me something.

On the other hand are the Mods that are just Mods. They have the position but don't do the work or, more often than not, complain about it nearly 24/7; at the very least they complain more than they do work [s]son[/s].
If I come to a Mod with a question, weither it be on IM for convinience or by PM, and their response to my legitimate question is, "I don't want to be bothered with YCM problems right now. I have more important things to do than have to answer you about that web site."

Yeah . . . not so much respect for that kind of guy/girl/whatever. If a Mod gets too overburdened, which I am sure you guys do, then at least be curtious about it and not get angry when someone comes to you for assistance. Because that.is.your.job. A kind, "sorry can't right now" or any other example followed by the fact you'll get to it as soon as possible will always work.

*looks at what I wrote*

Wow . . . I ranted quite a bit 8 /

Depends. The ones I interacted with. J-Max counted. He worked better of as a mod. Very lenient and patient, helping the needy and (very) lost [s]and thinking twice before he lands the hammer[/s]. Shares this trait with Opal.

Admins, NO NO NO! They aren't doing a-

It pretty much depends on the individual, but I’ve never respected a moderator because he is one.

Surprisingly, this is very, very meaningful. +rep.

I respect the Member, not the Mod. The only difference is a Bolded Name & Powers to close Topics and stuff. I never expected any Special Treatment when I was a Mod (although people were sudden;y a lot nicer to me because of it <_<) Remember that a Mod is still a Member. Respect them as that :)
