Seasons, not sure.
But there's like 8-9 major arcs overall (rough guesstimation).

There's 11. A hella lot for someone that's only seen one episode.

If you want to catch up, I'd do it by reading the manga and then switching over to the anime.
I know you dropped it, but the last few chapters have been fauking awesome. The War Arc is beginning to pick up a lot and it's only gonna get better from here on out.
Hopefully.

Already seen it.

Twice.

Plus, not a fan of AMV's. I always run into them while looking for actual clips of the anime.

Have you seen the original series of Naruto??

I got a good amount into it, but then life came to me and I left for a while.

Now it left me and I'm all depressed and sh*t.

Good

Finish it minus the spoilers and get back to shippuden

You should catch up in [an infinite] amount of weeks
I'm not quite sure where I am, actually. So I'll just watch the last few episodes.

Then I'll continue with Shippuden.

MEAT IS GOOD.
MEAT MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND.
Meat is everything.
...I came upon this passion for meat after spending a week in Switzerland where I ate almost nothing besides bread, filet mignon and chocolate.
IT'S SO GOOD.
AND THE BEST MEAT?
BACON.

If Chase were here I'd remind him of the epic Deer jerky vs. Bacon argument :3

DEER JERKEY?
HORSESH*T.
BACON > EVERYTHING
Bacon = cooked, burnt, and greasy
Jerky = smoked, dry, and preserved

The only downside to jerky is that it's expensive as f*ck.

Bacon isn't burnt if it's cooked right ._. It's not greasy if cooked right.

Smoked IS not > Cooked, considering smoking is a form of cooking

Dry is a downside, preserved is a downside, seeign as that means it NEEDS liquid with it, and it means it has preservatives, most likely, other than salt ,_,
