Badass? What part are you on?
I wouldn't say that, but he is an awesome character. He's actually in my top 5 faves for One Piece, I think.

Well, I very late in watching One Piece. Like I started late last month I think and right now I'm almost done with Skypiea (notsureifspelledright.jpg)
But seeing as he is the only real regular "human" who didn't get sort of superhuman training like Sanji, Zoro or technically Nami and basically learned everything up to being recruited on his own without any sort of benevolent outside help/mentor-ship

all while keeping pace with all of the crew (and occasionally surpassing them)

Nami didn't have insane superhuman training...though she did chill with pirates for 8 years.
And he was already an excellent shooter before joining.

But yeah, for an ordinary human, he's done great to be able to keep up and stuff. And he makes for great comic relief.

I don't think I've made a card since...ever?

EDIT: Oh and Remo, brace yourself. Everything gets better and better at a progressive rate after Skypiea. You're about to reach into what's really great about One Piece.

Well I consider Arlong to be a good enough superhuman trainer

Usopp didn't have to train to save his village or anything

=/ Plus there's the fact that One Piece genetics definitely played a role

Also, I'm well aware of the awesomeness of the Marineford arc and I can't wait

so far I haven't yet seen the full extent of the Marine's abilities
That would be to lay under a cammo tarp with a sniper rifle, pull the trigger one time, and then complain about how exhausting his day has been. That is the full extent of a Marine's abilities.

Oh Lord the amount of hate you're about to receive for that really WOULD test a Marine's abilities

Ironically enough, there was a Marine recruiter who was friends with my AP Chem teacher who came during class and just kinda sat through the entire class......it was intense

<- Hasn't read/watched One Piece

Sonic
In all seriousness bro, it's one of the best series out there. In Japan, it IS the best series there.
And I know that you personally would love it.
It is worth the read. Almost 700 chapters may seem scary, but you go through them so fast, it's insane. Once DL took a 2nd shot at it after giving up on it a little while ago, it entered his Top 3.
It's in my Top 3 as well.
This will do more than fill the void KHR left.

It's crazy how strong everybody is in that series. And we still haven't seen what comes close to the top level in the One Piece universe.
Such an awesome manga.
he says in the Naruto club

Well I do have the Naruto to fill the void...that and to get caught up on Bleach.

But I'll think about picking One Piece up later.

I promise you won't regret it.

Just letting you know, depending on where you are, Bleach has some bullshizz coming your way...just a bit.

Seriously, though, I actually like having spoilers for animanga. It actually makes me want to see it. Like "Wait a sec, what leads up to this?" Or "I wonder what this thing looks like when it actually happens? Of course, it always looks better seeing it in color, with sound, and with fluid motions instead of a series of still-frames.
