Yeah I heard the walking dead was good. Any news on the latest Naruto movie being subbed, I feel like watchig anime. Also about that Sora arc...
It is.
And the DVD usually comes out like 5 months after being in theaters.
RTN was released in July, so I'd be on the lookout for the subbed version sometime around Christmas.
What about that Sora arc?
It was alright, but not too great...it also begged the question exactly WHEN everyone else in Naruto's grade found out he was the 9-Tailed Jinchuriki.

There's no way in hell he wanted to do it, but I could see him going through with it if he had to do it. Like for the greater good or what not.
If you remember Obito saying why he didn't return, it was because he told Kakashi "You let Rin die."
I'm thinking that means the way Obito saw things, Kakashi could have found a way to save Rin and accomplish whatever the mission they were on was without killing her, but that's all I can think of from the available details.
Maybe it was out of his control, but I think Obito would have understood it wasn't really his fault in that scenario, which is why I'm remaining skeptical.

The Walking Dead's also an awesome show. I need to finish the 2nd season before the 3rd goes on-air.

Ma, I just can't figure out the Rin situation. Maybe she wasn't Rin. (she most likely was because Kakashi was crying) It could be that the "test bodies from the Mist" or whatever could have all been Rins. Maybe Rin was kidnapped previously and replaced so that Madara could make copies of her. It all could have been an ellaborate plan hatched by Orochimaru and Madara. It could have been Genjutsu, which I doubt. I could have been an accident. Maybe whoever translated Tobi as saying, "You let Rin die." translated wrong. Maybe it actually said, "Because you killed Rin." That would change everything... well, a lot anyway.

The Walking Dead Season 3 comes early October so probably around the 15th. I wish they'd try to focus less on character development in that show. :T

I want to watch it for the one episode where a kunoichi ass Naruo for a kiss. Lol that's it.

Do you read the stuff you type? It's so hard to read sometimes.

Meh, you know she turns into an old bat, right?
Or wait...might be thinking of someone else.
She's very forgettable is the point here.

Main thing I got from that is Madara pulled an Evangelion with Rin.
That'd be f*cking creepy .___.
I doubt it was a mistranslation. If he stated that, that'd kill the suspense intended to be paired with that moment where he stabbed her.

Maybe, though the graphic novel does a pretty good job of balancing things.

Naruto's just doing really well overall right now.
I have this thing where I look at all of the Shonen Jump series I'm currently reading and compare the chapters that come out each week to each other and see which one was the most interesting. For the past few months, it's been mostly Naruto with a few One Pieces, couple Beelzebubs and a couple Torikos.
All the SJ series are in a good spot right now, save for Bleach. Though for the rut it's in, it could be worse.

I'm looking up Naruto couples on DeviantArt, and there are some surprising ones. I've known about Kiba/Karui for a while, but it's still weird to me. However, I don't think I've ever known about ShinoHana, although I think it kind of makes sense.

And of course, there's a Naruto Couples Wiki.

I see you neglected to mention Fairy Tail in there, but Naruto is quite good. One Piece is almost never a let down. Bleach is just trying to satisfy some urges though they have had their moments.

I messed around with the idea of a vlog "reviewing" all those weekly chapters and having a winner each week, but I dunno.

I would watch/subscribe for that bro

BTW Where did you get that sig from?

I think the fact that Kubo mentioned Aizen again in Bleach was to possibly seal away any chance of him returning =/

Basically to silence all the speculation without wasting much time. It's probably due too Bleach being restricted to its last arc and Aizen loves to have super long unneeded complicated plans that that take hundreds of years to achieve

Logic makes sense to me. It'd be great if more was done with Aizen, but alas, it'd require more time that Kubo definitely doesn't have.

Well, Weekly Manga Recap does hour long podcasts covering the Big Three, Toriko, and Fairy Tail.
Ah figures it'd exist already. Oh well.
I'm listening to their "How We'd Fix Naruto" right now, I chuckled at their disclaimer.
1. Villains aren't as good as the series goes on.
They mentioned during pre-timeskip that the main villains of each arc were clearly defined, like Zabuza was the main for the first and Gaara was the main for the Chunin Exams and that they liked that setup whereas in Shippuden it just kinda keeps going. And they don't really like how Madara (as in Obito) made himself into the overarching villain.
I kinda think that's just more a personal opinion than it being a flaw. I can definitely agree that Pain wasn't handled well before dying at the end there, but other than that I'd say the villains each had as big a mark as they could get and too much attention placed on each of them would most likely cause the story to drag a bit.
2. Side characters being neglected.
I'll agree with them here. Side characters get no love in Shippuden, aside from Team 10, but even then they could use more screen time. I think it'd be less of a problem if Team Guy had more time to show how they changed in the Gaara mission and if Team 8 got to actually DO stuff when they looked for Sasuke. I got really excited for Shino vs Tobi like Chris did, but then nothing happened.
3. Sasuke sucks.
To quote Chris, "I WANT to defend him, but I CAN'T. I really CAN'T."
Rather than taking revenge on the Leaf and focusing on being lost to hatred, Sasuke could've done better as an ambivalent antihero doing his own thing. If he had JUST focused on killing the 3 elders, I'd say his vendetta would make much more sense and not as contrived.
I kinda feel like Sasuke may be reconsidering things after seeing Itachi again. I might be way off, but I kind of got the vibe that he was starting question his actions.
I felt that too, but only a little bit. Sasuke still told him directly that he would continue his goal to destroy the Leaf because that was the path he willingly chose for himself.
I think at the very least Itachi set him up for Naruto's Jesustalk-no-Jutsu.

Well, in Sasuke's case, he WAS mindf*cked pretty badly

And then after learning the truth about Itachi, he might have just snapped and combined the anger he had about the Uchiha massacre with the obvious sympathy he had for his bro. I can easily see why he was so mad at everything. He just didn't know what to do.
Oh yeah, they were saying that the manga was trying too hard in establishing Itachi wasn't a bad guy.
So what if it went on for a few chapters, that was a big and welcome twist, plus it's the main reason a lot of people love Itachi.

The main reason Sasuke doesn't make sense is because he knew and understood WHY Itachi did what he did. Itachi loved the village and killed his clan to prevent a civil war, which would have resulted in lots of innocent lives lost. The whole clan (except Sasuke) was in on it, so they were properly accounted for.
But Sasuke decides to make Itachi throwing his life away pointless by going to kill the innocent lives Itachi sought to protect and to put himself in harm's way after Itachi ensured he'd be able to live his life.

Well even if he did realize his wrongdoings and turn himself around, his life would still suck pretty bad. It's not like he can go to Konoha and say "Oh sorry guys, I had some misinformation so I killed one of your leaders and a bunch of other dudes can I come back to the village now"

Sasuke's actions so far probably won't get him anything less than a life sentence or however they deal with criminals in the Naruto universe.

He won't be able to go back without Naruto, Kakashi, or Tsuande as Hokage and the last two might not even be with it themselves.

If there was a time to kill Kakashi, it was with Pain.
It'd be redundant and nowhere near as impactful if he died again during this fight.
He could have had Kakashi not die against Pain and save his death for this fight, which would work well, but now it's better he stays alive and overcomes this last obstacle by facing his former best friend.

Besides, I love Kakashi. I want him to have a happy end.

@Jester-Yeah, all that's left for his character is a death of redemption. Or he comes through during the final battle and rather than executing him, he's just given a life sentence in prison where Naruto, Sakura and other people visit him regularly.
If Kakashi died during the Pain arc, the whole Obito reveal would be near meaningless. Sure he can still complain about Kakashi's failure, but one the whole, it wouldn't mean much anymore since Kakashi can't revisit the whole situation and/or deal with the mindfnck that his best friend, whom he's been paying homage to since the first episode (the whole lateness thing as well visiting the memorial. Or being late BECAUSE of the memorial. Both really). It was kinda of awkward, and I would've avoided the whole death all together looking back, but while killing Kakashi during the Pain Attack might have been beneficial then, it certainly would ruin things later on.
