DL
Well that's why WAIT DID YOU NOT WATCH THE FAKE KARAKURA TOWN BATTLES IN THE ANIME?
Because the Bount arc was horrible and I wanted out of it?
Fusion X. Denver
honestly the zanpacto fillers and the regai fillers were actually pretty good the regai one basically gave a very good reason for Captains to fight one another
Haven't seen Zanpakutou, but Reigai was decent. But then again, Reigai was actually integrated into the story and not randomly thrown in there. Wasn't saying the arcs themselves were bad, but the fact they interrupted the canon storyline with no transition is annoying.
DL
fillers tend to do that I don't mind filler EPISODES every once in a while, far from it But filler arcs that are longer than 3-4 episodes tend to irk me

Phantom Roxas
Yeah, at least Naruto was able to integrate its filler into the story. Bleach just randomly cuts to something completely different =.= I don't know why it's suddenly become a problem for me, but right now I can't stand how bad Bleach's pacing is.
The pacing is exactly why the fillers have such horrible timing, although I admit that I enjoyed the Zanpakuto arc. Muramasa was a great villain. I haven't watched the anime in a long time aside from the dub. I actually left off at the beginning of the final battle with Ulquiorra.
DL
Final battle with Ulqui animated was amazing animators were definitely NOT lazy
Fusion X. Denver
Just watch an AMV of Ichigo vs Ulqui and Ichigo vs Aizen and you're not missing much, Roxas. Although the Reigai arc had interesting match-ups between captains like Komamura vs Soi Fong. But they had to square Kenpachi and Byakuya against themselves...boring. And I wish the same care was given to 6-Tailed Naruto vs Pain. It was absolutely painful to watch.

Fusion X. Denver
You mean manga. Anime just finished the Fox Attack flashback today. But yes, it really does seem Naruto's almost done. You... You think it'll be done before I go off to college?

Fusion X. Denver
I'm trying to figure out what the new Big 3 will be once Naruto and Bleach are gone. One Piece obviously stays. The other 2 I'm thinking...Toriko and Beelzebub. Anyone read those mangas? They're pretty stellar if you haven't. EDIT: Maaaybe Gintama could be 1. I haven't read it yet, so no idea if it's good or not.
DL
Dude Gintama is old as f*ck I'm thinking Beelzebub IDK about Toriko tho Oh, and the old Big 3 were DBZ, Yuyu hakusho, and Rurouni Kenshin, if anyone is curious
Fusion X. Denver
Well so is One Piece, but it's staying... Then again, Gintama could be close to ending right now, idk. I would say Toriko because he's been on a lot of SJ covers. And it has tons of potential and a consistent quality as well as a mangaka who seems like he fully understands his universe. The main thing it and Beelzebub has going for them is the room to grow and the unique, likable casts.
DL
*hasn't read Toriko yet* :'DD Oh yeah, what do you guys reckon was the OOOOLD big 3? Astro Boy, Knights of the Zodiac, and Sailor Moon? lol
Fusion X. Denver
Dude idk. The oldest Big 3 I can think of besides DBZ/YYH/RK is Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh!/Digimon. And those were all animes for kids. You should read Toriko, it's very unique and novel.
DL
I want to Got a whole list tho I actually felt that, at one point, if the Big 3 woulda ended, the 3 to take its place would be FMA, D-Gray Man, and Claymore As they seem to be very big

Secondly, FMA ended. <-Probably why you said at one point though. Thirdly, those are all monthly. Which might not mean anything, but all of the Big 3s before were weekly and the point of the Big 3 is the top 3 franchises that have huge fanbases and constantly entertain (ok Bleach can be an exception) and make money. Lt. Colonel Remo
=/ I can see Toriko taking one of the 2 spots open for Big 3 But the real question is Why 3? Nobody said there had to be three. Also, wasn't the inspiration for Bleach Knights of the Zodiac?

Lt. Colonel Remo
Exactly Some anime was meant for childhood if you never watched Pokemon growing up, you almost never understand the nostalgia we hold in our hearts from season
