evawin
Kind of a dark spin/antithesis on both Lightsworn and Dragunity. For now, I'm just looking on feedback for it: mainly, is it distinct (as opposed to generic)? Also, brownie points for however can guess where I drew the names from. :3x Rakka, Feldar Binder ** (2 star) Dark Spellcaster/Effect When you Normal or Special Summon a "Feldar" monster, you can select 1 card your opponent controls. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Kind of a dark spin/antithesis on both Lightsworn and Dragunity. ATK: 200 DEF: 1900 Very high DEf for a level 2 effect monster, and not that difficult to nullify a back row for a few turns with until you can destroy trap holes/mirror forces properly. Sedra, Feldar Trooper **** (4 star) Dark Warrior/Effect When this card is selected as the target of a Spell or Trap card your opponent controls, you can banish 2 "Feldar" monsters in your Graveyard to negate the activation of that card and destroy it. ATK: 1800 DEF: 300 Was going to say this is an easy get out until I looked through the rest and the amount of banishment going on, right call to make it 2 monsters. Helpful in some respects although it doesn't save you from nukes (thats meant as a good thing btw). Nike, Feldar Wyrmling **** (4 star) Dark Dragon/Union If you control a face-up level 7 or lower "Feldar" monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. ATK: 1100 DEF: 1000 This is me being a weirdo, but having a single union monster as a member of an archtype that doesn't revolve around it feels... random... to me. Make one by all means as support for the archtype without actually being one (like Vizor's Buster Blaster kinda was) but I dunno, just feels random. Does what most standard unions do, not that it needs much else. Volsa, Feldar Shaman *** (3 star) Dark Spellcaster/Effect This card gains 300 ATK for each of your banished "Feldar" monsters. If this card destroys an opponents monster by battle, you can banish that monster instead of sending it to the Graveyard. ATK: 600 DEF: 1100 Decent card that is well balanced. Spectre, Feldar Scout *** (3 star) Dark Warrior/Effect When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Feldar" monster with 2000 or less DEF from your deck. When this card is banished from your deck, you can add 1 "Feldar" monster from your deck to your hand. ATK: 1300 DEF: 800 Let me guess, there's some whacking huge Level 8 beatstick with 2000 DEF somewhere in here.... oh no? Does what it needs to. Fegor, Feldar Commander ****** (6 star) Dark Dragon/Effect When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can search your deck for one "Feldar" monster, banish it, then select up to 2 cards in your opponent's Graveyard and banish them. ATK: 2400 DEF: 2100 Works well with Scout, obviously. Banishing from your deck isn't something I can recall seeing much of. Bola, Feldar Tyrant ******** (8 star) Dark Dragon/Effect This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can be Special Summoned from your hand or Graveyard by banishing at least 4 "Feldar" monsters from your Graveyard. You can only control 1 face-up "Bola, Feldar Tyrant". If you do not own at least 1 "Feldar" monster in your Graveyard and banishment zone, destroy this card and take damage equal to this cards original attack. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects: * Banish 1 "Feldar" monster in your Graveyard to draw 1 card. * Send 1 "Feldar" monster from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 card on the field. * Select 1 of your banished "Feldar" monsters and add it to your hand. ATK: 2800 DEF: 2600 Interesting draw back, although I'd imagine having all the monsters RFP returned to your hand and deck is unlikely. Making it just none in graveyard is probably too far the other way though. Hmm.... Restricting it to one on the field was a good move though. Anyway, versatile boss with fair ATK given its ability to be summoned reasonably easily and is very useable. Fell Winds Normal Spell You can banish any number of "Feldar" monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Feldar" monster from your deck whose level is less than or equal to the level of the monsters you banished. The monster;s effect(s) is negated until the End Phase, and you cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this effect. The decks version of 'Over Destiny' in a way. Remove 1 or maybe 2 monsters for very easy setup with Glow Up/PSZ. I'd make it that you have to summon a monster with the same level as the combined level of removed monsters (ala 'Crop Circles') or no other special summons this turn instead to prevent that. Feldar - the Tyrant Kingdom Field Spell When a "Feldar" monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, you can banish that monster. If you do, once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects: * Banish 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard. * Banish 1 card in your Graveyard. * Return 1 banished "Feldar" monster to its owner's Graveyard. Good job you put once per turn there. Poor mans Dragon Ravine, although Ravine is epic. Dark Rising Quickplay Spell Activate only if you own at least 4 banished "Feldar" monsters. Add 2 of your banished "Feldar" monsters to your hand. Don't see the use in it being QP, but whatever. Maybe should be upped to five, but thats not here or there really. Tyrant's Ultimatum Normal Spell Activate only if you own 8 or more banished "Feldar" monsters. Destroy all cards your opponent controls, then draw 1 card. I generally hate nukes unless they are tricky to activate, and this might not be as difficult as it looks. Definately shouldn't get to draw as well. Fell Maelstrom Continuous Spell If the only monsters you control in your Graveyard are "Feldar" monsters, once per turn, you can send 1 "Feldar" monster from your deck to the Graveyard. Good card. Conflux Normal Trap Activate by removing an opponent's attacking monster from play only if you own at least 1 "Feldar" monster in your Graveyard. Search your deck for a "Feldar" monster card and banish it. For the only time I've noticed so far the OCG has gone astray, should be something like: 'Activate when opponents monster declares an attack whilst you have at least 1 Feldar monster in your graveyard: Banish the attacking monster and 1 Feldar monster from your deck.' Good card though. Ether, Feldar Engineer ** (2 star) Dark Warrior/Effect During either player's Damage Step, when a face-up "Feldar" monster you control battles, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to have that monster gain attack equal to the number of banished "Feldar" monsters x300. When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard, you can banish 1 "Feldar" monster from your deck. ATK:500 DEF:1600 So it activates both effects at the same time? Don't like as its too convenient, the second effect should activate when its banished from play/graveyard/either. Lily, Feldar Errant **** (4 star) Dark Warrior/Effect When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can select 1 "Feldar" monster from your deck and remove it from play. ATK:1700 DEF:400 Solid support. Jwarma, Feldar Overseer ***** (5) Dark Beast/Effect If you control a face-up "Feldar" monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Your opponent cannot select another face-up "Feldar" monster as the target of an attack or card effect. ATK:2100 DEF:2100 Powerful card. Feldar Tenacity Spell Send 1 "Feldar" monster from your hand to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards. You cannot banish cards the turn you activate this card. Now as far as spell cards that let you draw 2 cards go, I think this one is really well balanced. Good job here.
Overall, really impressed with the synergy throughout the set and the balance of individual cards for such a new member. Well done and keep it up. Link to comment
