Notice how it has BLS... BLS being at one wouldnt change the game much nowadays. Seeing that they're reprinting it in a gold series makes me think that they may be putting BLS back in the game. Your thoughts... OT: Card re-print doesn't guarantee unbanning. Cyber Jar, Pot of Greed, Ring of Destruction, Crush Card, and Chaos Emperor Dragon in Duelist Pack kaiba didn't come back from the list. As for the comparison with Chaos Sorcerer. Black Luster Soldier's 3000 ATK can run over most things and even attack again afterwards. Chaos Sorcerer's 2300 ATK can't stand most Synchros or even Monarchs. Black Luster Soldier's banishing effect can banish face-downs too. Chaos Sorcerer can only do face-ups, giving your opponent temporal escapes that Black Luster doesn't allow (Set monsters). Also, Book of Moon is fun against Chaos Sorcerer but not against Black Luster Soldier. Black Luster Soldier is still overkill and too easy to bring out. Anyway, yes it can remove any monster in any position, but its really not that crazy. If it went to one i still dont think chaos decks would come back. This might get ran in some decks that have decent amounts of light and dark monsters, but i'd rather get hit with this than judgment dragon. Fissure, smashing ground, d prison, sakuretsu, dark hole, lightning vortex... I really could go on. The only thing about BLS thats iffy is the attacking twice thing. They dont like OTK cards and you could deal like 5000 points in one turn, but thats really all i can think of. They've done crazier things with the list... And gold rares in the gold series packs are usually useful cards. Duelist packs are jokes. Sorry, just my opinion. PS: royal oppression, solemn judgement/warning, bottomless...
