Wave_Sine
If I were to use the Painter's Servant/Grindstone combo to attempt to mill my opponent's entire deck and they have Emrakul, Kozilek, or Ulamog in their deck, what happens? Does the game end in a draw?

Does the game end in a draw? The Eldrazi ability doesn't go on the stack until after Grindstone finishes resolving, i.e.:1. Grindstone mills the entire deck.2. Entire graveyard gets shuffled back into library, because of Eldrazi. The end. So, no infinite loop.

CommanderVolt
If I control Talrand the Sky Summoner, and I cast Spelltwine, how will talrand's effect activate accordingly? One token for casting the spell but, as for the copies of spells Spelltwine casts..?
Flame Dragon
Since it says your casting those copies, than you would get 3 drakes.

Flame Dragon
Tolarian Academy and Gaea's Cradle are actually part of a cycle. Serra's Sanctum, Phyrexian Tower, and Shivan Gorge. Yea, they kind of half assed it with the last two.
Poc
I knew they were part of a cycle, I couldn't remember the name of the other 3. Not that it really matters, they are completely outclassed by Cradle and Academy, In fact, every other land is small time compared to those two. Dova
Alright, still somewhat new to this game, but... If I activate Shock while my opponent controls a Planeswalker, do I have to choose between the player and planeswalker at resolution or activation? But it is much easier to just say that you "Shock the planeswalker" or "deal 2 to the planeswalker". It is just a shortcut, but is allowed as long as the opponent understands what is going on. Trebuchet MS
Suppose I use Soul Separator on Quicksilver Gargantuan, a Clone that always has base stats 7/7. I know I get a 7/7 Zombie token, but what about the Spirit? Is its base stats 1/1 or 7/7?

Forest Fire
can you actually make your opponent concede with the new Emrakul? it is, technically, a decision that they could make; and other than the fact that it would be banned as fast as possible if you could, i don't see why you couldn't. Forest Fire
Simple, they made that against the rules.i meant more, is there another reason why, other than this: the fact that it would be banned as fast as possible if you couldthat they made that rule? because you know: it is, technically, a decision that they could make
Sixty
conceding isn't something you can do while controlling a player. you can influence their decision by picking their board apart with their own tools, however.
Forest Fire
ok so i totally do not understand Reverse the Sands... it says that the players you choose get one life total back, which i would assume to either mean that: a) you gain the starting amount of life back or b) your life total is doubled; but..... it means..... neither of those two things it would make sense for it to mean, and in fact means that: if there are two players, including you, you can choose to either: a) keep the life totals the way they are or b) switch life totals with your opponent is that about right? CuriousHeartless
Yes. What is the hard part there (honest inquiry not sarcasm)? It doesn't say redistribute life (that would be busted or useless depending on cost) but life total.
Forest Fire
it doesn't make sense... the reminder text says "(Each of those players gets one life total back.)" , but it means Exchange the chosen players' life totals. how exactly does that make any sense at all? CuriousHeartless
Reminder text isn't actually meaningful in Magic, it is just reminders. If you're getting confused by them, just ignore them and read the Card rulings.
