Did anyone watch the GOP debate yesterday? I was watching and simulatenously studying, and the second I heard a question about Don't Ask, Don't Tell, I put my books down and watched intently. It's hilarious to see how retarded conservatives can be when it comes to logical legislation. "Uh, yeah, I want to make sure Don't Ask, Don't Tell is reinstituted, since uh the army captain uh said that repealing it was bad." I love how Republicans think they can get elected just by saying "yeah repeal Obama's stuff, woohoo", when in reality those are the only sub-par arguments they can make. My bloody ass they are going to help the country.

Now I'm wishing I watched the Debate :/ could've been a good laugh or 2, just when I laughed at Bush when he said he knew what was going on with the government and the turns around saying stuff like "Why am I here again?"

Now that I'm done with that tangent, let me move on to another tangent. I love how the majority of females (and males) on the internet claim to be bisexual. I'm almost entirely sure that the volume of claimed bisexuals is nowhere near the volume of actual bisexuals on the internet, and it just piques my interest why people would want to falsely claim to be bisexual over the internet. Do they want sympathy? Do they want the ability to have an "internet relationship" with those of both genders? I've seen a lot of cases where homosexuals pretend to be heterosexuals in order to avoid "bullying", but I'm not sure why some heterosexuals want to be bisexual so badly.

They could be "in the closet" for all we know. The people around you have a big impact on you, some more than others, though it is clearly not always the same case. Take me for example. I'm gay and several people already know it, both here and in real life. Do my parents mind I'm gay? HELL YES! They always put on the whole "disappointed-in-you" farce that gets annoying as hell, but I don't need their approval to be...well...me! However, others are strongly influenced by the social norm around them, so it tends to be different among individuals, much like how a gay in a hate-gay community will either keep their sexuality a big secret from the community or be "out" and fall to the community's wrath. Of course, these are extreme cases...even though they tend to happen. So what about these guys/gals in the internet? I say let them try it out, but when it comes to it in real life...what then?

The "homosexuality is a sin" argument stems wholly and undoubtedly from religion. I'm sure with a few seconds of Google searching you can find the exact passages in the Bible where homosexuality (only with men, for some reason) is condemned. It's hilarious to note that more states have legalized incestuous marriages compared to same-sex marriages when it's clear that homosexuality has no negative effects. Homosexual adoption is shown to have little to no effect on a child's development, and since marriage is a government institution, religion should play no role in restricting it to certain individuals.

It's funny how people who say they're religions and try to quote the Bible fail miserably. I've only met three people so far that have actually read the Bible and have proven it and those would be: My GOVERNMENT 2301/2302 Teacher, the nice old lady across my street that needs my help from time to time to mow the lawn, and my die hard religious friend Pedro (and he still likes me as a friend)!!! Notice how I failed to mention any local priests or religious figure? Yeah...go figure.

I think during the GOP debate, Ron Paul stated that he wanted marriage to be part of the Church, which blew my mind. I'm pretty sure most homosexuals don't care about the religious marriage; if a church doesn't want them on their property, they probably won't care. But as long as strict government benefits exist for married couples, homosexuals will fight for their deserved right to get married. If Christians want to ban homosexual marriage, I wouldn't really mind. But at the very least homosexual couples should get the same benefits as heterosexual married couples, and homosexual couples should get the status of a "married couple", even if they weren't officially married in some bullshit church.
Money talks, doesn't it? And it's true. Most of us don't care about the church not allowing us to marry (some do...but several just flick their fingers at them). It's basically all about the money, the benefits, the tax breaks, etc. <_< Religion and government should be split for several reasons, and this is just one of them. Sure, maybe you can't get married through a Religion, so why not through the government? OR better yet, why not give homosexual couples the same benefits...or reject them from all couples within the nation? I really doubt many would even think of doing the second option.

I'd like to make it a point to state that if heterosexuals don't want to look at homosexuals kiss, we don't have to. Think of it as 2 Girls, 1 Cup; their practices, albeit infinitely more disgusting than anything else, are perfectly legal (to my knowledge). Nobody is forcing you to watch them, so why should you care? Homosexuals are not required to watch heterosexuals kiss/mate/et cetera, and vice versa. No laws should be made preventing public affection because it would be an entirely useless and stupid piece of legislation.

I THOUGHT THAT VIDEO DIED A LONG TIME AGO!!!!!! *Relapses horribly*
Doctor: We have to take this guy into the emergency room! STAT!
*Ambulance arrives out of nowhere and takes me to the nearest hospital.*

What I love about religious Fanatics that bash homosexuality, is that they tag it with the term "Sin", yet they are human, they lie, they cheat and they think imorally, why do they target one "Sin" over the others? I hate it how they like to dwell on things that they may not be apart of, which is more or less likely to divert attention from their own falses.

Christian Standpoint: We have been taught that we are to strive to be sinless like Jesus himself, so we will tell you when you're sinning as well.

Those who say you're going to hell for it are the hypocrites.

For those saying they hate it when homosexuals or heterosexuals do things like kissing in public, I dislike most public displays in public altogether. Holding hands. Fine. Kissing. Leave it for somewhere else. I fell people have gotten too public, and let's face it. No one really wants to see you and your girl or boy friend kissing in the middle of the side walk, or in a park. Restaurants are fairly okay though, as long as it isn't a Sonic.

Gay marriage is legal in the following countries

Argentina
Belgium
Canada
Iceland
Netherlands
Norway
Portugal
South Africa
Spain
Sweden

Though more countries allow it in certain places, like a few states in the U.S, it is still a dissapointment how short this list is.

...I actually like gays. They are more fun to be around then straight people. (no, I am not gay.) With straights, you get fights. A lot. And mostly over girls. (how likely is it that there are gonna be two guys fighting over a guy or two girls fighting over a girl?) Anyway, thats my opinion.

exactly. they can really help you out in many different ways. One just got me a date. Well I don't mean to number him. He's cool.(And No I'm Not Gay)
