Astro smiled when the duel was accepted, and took the effect damage without flinching or reacting. He had a card on his field, an original Tech Genus, which could give him the Accel Synchro opportunity, due to the pirates own mistake. He grinned and his eyes glinted under his visor.
"I draw!" The knight cried, accelerating over the crystal ocean. "And shall begin with a Spell Card, 'TGC -X' which has a favourable effect. It allows me to tribute my Catapult Dragon, to special summon 2 other catapult dragons from my deck!" He did so, searching his deck for 2 cards which were exactly the same. He picked them out and played them in his monster card zones.
"Now, to activate their effects, special summoning TG Jet Falcon(Lv3/tuner) and TG Aqua Shark (Lv3/tuner). Now, Aqua Shark tunes with Catapult Dragon, creating a wonder of synchro technology! TG Wonder Magician! Now, her effect destroys your left hand Spell or Trap, while Aqua Shark returns your hand to your deck, but allows you to draw two cards."
Wonder Magician attacked the set card with a magical laser while a burst of water returned the other to the deck.
"Second tune up, Jet. Falcon and Catapult Dragon forms a mighty warrior of synchro! TG Power Gladiator! Now, gladiator! Attack his Exceed monster, and Wonder Magician attack directly!"
The gladiator rushed at the Exceed Monster, while TG wonder magician unleashed another laser.
"I shall also end with 2 face downs. Your move lowly pirate!"

[color=orange][b]Um...thank you for telling me she was a princess so now I'm going to be taking her for sure oh and if you really want you can come but you have to follow our rules an I want you swearing that in one of your big knight oaths.[/b][/color] Seiyu was surprised he didn't expect to come across the princess of Zaxtran on this attack he just thought she was some noble or mage but this made things better. [color=orange][b]When the ship is loaded we head out, and you mister knight have until then to make your oath.[/b][/color]

"He will do no such thing!" Astro called from his duel. "Nor will you be leaving! I am still here and I am a knight myself, not of Zaxatran but if the ally kingdom. You'd know me as The White Knight of Synchro, the defender of Pax. You would not leave your mate, and I intend to beat him. So, your choices are; wait for him and me, go now and he will very likely drown after being defeated, or release the princess and knight and leave. You make the choice, but if you choose to run or to wait, you will have me hit you like nothing you have seen or felt. Do i make myself clear [i]captain?[/i]
Astro stared coldly at the pirate captain. A faint spiritual glow around him. The knight was enraged someone, even a pirate, could have so little honour. He'd learnt a lot from coming to this time, and one thing was a mans or woman's honour was important, no matter what.

Lance glanced at the duelist and said,[color="#008000"]"Please stay out of this. I know what I'm doing...[size="1"]at least I hope so...[/size][/color] Lance looked at Elaine, who was still very upset or sad, he couldn't tell right now. He sighed and then looked over to his left at Gaia Drake, who seemed a little downtrodden. [color="#008000"]"I screwed up big time didn't I...?"[/color] he asked quietly to Gaia. [color="#008000"]"Please don't hid the truth or make it sound like I did do nothing...cause I did feel I did something."[/color] He knew he screwed up...and he did big time. Lance felt like he just failed both his king and his princess.

[color="#008000"]"Something I never thought I would do..."[/color] Lance said sighing. He looked at the pirate captain and said,[color="#008000"]"I've made my desicion...and I, Sir Lancelot Fletcher, knight of the Kingdom of Zaxtran...pledge my Knight's Oath...to go by your rules and regulations. But I will do this on only two conditions...my Duel Runner will come with me. And my last condition, is that you won't harm her at all. Instead, harm me...I swore to protect her...and I will continue to protector."[/color]

[i]'No, please, get off me!'[/i] 'You are Mr Huntley, aren't you? You my target and you shall die on this spot!' A man was on the floor, severely bleeding and wounded. He called forth a Skeletal Steed and rode off towards a small village. He rode up to a house and he knocked three times. [i]'Hello...Psaro?'[/i] 'It's done, now I want my pay.' He barged into his house and demanded what he earnt. [i]'Well, you see, I can't really...'[/i] Psaro snapped back at him and grabbed him by the collar, lifted him towards a wall and said 'You owe me money! Don't make me do to you what I did to Huntley!' [i]'Ok! Ok! Take what you want and go! Please, don't hurt me!'[/i] the man plead, begging for mercy. Psaro the threw him out his house, head first to the ground. 'Humans...they make me sick.' He said as he searched around the house. He went to the man's bedroom and took his payment in hsi wife's jewellery. [i]'Jonathan, are you well?'[/i] a villager asked him. The man near Jonathan then saw Psaro and said. [i]'Hey! Wha do you think your doing!'[/i] 'Taking my...payment!' He said as he swung a sharp and deadly fist at the man. 'Jonathan.' Jonathan looked up at Psaro. 'If I ever see you again, your done.' He hopped back on his stead and rode for Mae Relea.

Psaro was at the gates of the city, when a young man opened the gates and met him. [i]'Mr Psaro?'[/i] He looked at the boy with his demonic red eyes. 'What?' [i]'I have a letter for you, from the King of Hōyō.'[/i] Psaro took the letter and read it.

I hope life is treating you well andI hope your making a comfortable life in Pax. I have written this letter to ask your permision to destroy your fortress in Roseguardin. It appears to be falling into disrepair, however we are fully aware of the emotion trauma you have suffered and the importance of the fortress to you. I grant you an audience with myself.

On other note, I hope you can send our message to King Orion as soon as possible, he must know that despite our beliefs we will fully support them in this hard time and they may use our Peninsula as a refuge for war struck victims. I am sure that he is aware of our medical benefits from our plants, so I hope this treaty will soon begin.

Psaro closed the letter and then called back his skeletal horse. As he walked int he streets, he seek assistance to get to the King so he could accomplish his mission.

Elaine was cursing herself. She should have been prepared sooner. As it was she was just able to hide her staff before a collar was placed around her neck, limiting her magic. She remained silent, staring stoically at the leader of the pilot whilst hoping Lance didn't say anything stupid.

He did, cluing the pirate captain in as to who she was. [i]Oh I really have to teach you about subtlety. This isn't going to go over well back home.[/i]

Her face remained calm, despite her cringing inside as Lance effectively surrendered. [i]And now he's caught up in this as well. Perhaps I should have had a word about priorities, or better not dragged him into this disaster. We were headed to support Pax, and now it seems we will be relying on their knight to get us out of this.[/i]

Seeing one of his face-down returning to his deck made Ryu a bit irritated. "Damn it... Now I can't use my combo, however..." Before the other face-down was destroyed, Ryu activated it. "Hold on, I activate my face-down, it's a trap called Cup of Aquarius, and here's what it does! While I have a face-up WATER monster and you activate an effect that destroys 1 or more cards on the field, I can negate that effect and remove that card from play, meaning now you have to say goodbye to your T.G. Wonder Magician! And that's not all, since the card removed from play was a monster, I get to increase either my Deep-Sea Claw's ATK or DEF by half of your Wonder Magician's ATK, and I choose ATK!" Ryu explained.

"Since your Magician had 1900 ATK, that means by monster's ATK is increased by 950 points [ATK:2950]!" Ryu explained as his Deep-Sea Claw became larger in size.

After his face-down returned to his deck and his deck was shuffled, Ryu drew two cards. Then, Astro was able to synchro summon his T.G. Power Gladiator, but alas, it was too weak to go up against Ryu's Deep-Sea Claw with its 2950 ATK. Hearing what Astro had said about his captain, and what would happen to Ryu if he was defeated, Ryu only laughed. "Are you crazy or just stupid. There's no way you'll be able to win. Go ahead captain and leave. I'll take care of this loser in no time!" Ryu said confidently. "So, do you end your turn or what?" Ryu asked, awaiting for it to be his turn.

[IF ASTRO PLACE 2 FACE-DOWNS AND END HIS TURN WITHOUT ATTACKING]

"Alright, now it's my turn!" Ryu said as he drew a card from his hand. "Since it's my Standby Phase, my Deep-Sea Claw's ATK is reduced back down to 1950, but that won't matter with this turn." Ryu stated. "I'll start my turn by activating a Spell Card called Exceeding Power! What this Spell Card does is it allows me to detach 1 Xyz Material from an Xyz monster I control. After detaching an Xyz Material from my Deep-Sea Claw, it's ATK is permanently increased by 500 points making my Deep-Sea Claw's ATK into 2450!" Ryu explained.

"Now Deep-Sea Claw, attack his T.G. Power Gladiator!" Ryu shouted as Deep-Sea Claw crawled towards Power Gladiator and attack using one of its giant claws.

Lance looked at Elaine and then sighed. He had royal screwed up, he had everything under control...and he just totally and utterly screwed it up. And now, it seemed Elaine was upset at him...and he had to find a way to get her out of this. Lance had an idea, but he'd probably screw this up too...but he had no choice right now. [color="#008000"]"On second thought, I restate a few things in that oath."[/color] Lance said as he smiled a little. [color="#008000"]"I'll let you take me as prisoner, me abiding by your rules and everything. But what I'll have you do is release Elaine..."[/color] He glanced over at Elaine, who know was shocked at what he said, but he just smiled again, saying,[color="#008000"]"Don't worry Princess, I have never let you get harmed...and this is one of those moments where I won't let them do any harm. That...that is my creed, my duty as a knight."[/color]

Seiyu sighed, [color=orange][b]Listen you aren't as valuable as she is so there is no way we're going to make that trade, partly because if I really wanted to by our contract I could take all of your crew as slaves but I'm not, all that's going to happen is that we're going to take her to port then send you our demands which now that we know she's a princess will be something crazy high like the three god cards of Pax, I swear to you that as long as she is in my care I will risk my life to make sure no harm comes to her, and to the White Knight of Synchro or whatever at the moment the only crime that we've committed is some property damage to their ship, when they entered the contracted duel they made a contract that if we win we get there valuables and I won so that stuff legally belongs to us, and finally Ryuto this is like the third time he's stayed back in order to do something crazy and dangerous and he always comes back and again there is that whole we have you on the legal stand point thing.[/b][/color] Seiyu saw that his crew had taken everything they wanted and was preparing to head out, [color=orange][b]of and to the knight sorry but if your going to change your oath then I'm not going to trust you, I was perfectly fine with the original but after you change stuff no way.[/b][/color]

Activate trap card, Negate Attack, which now blocks your attack and ends the battle phase. Now, since I am safe this turn, I shall make my own move! Draw!"
Astro swiped a card from his deck and grinned. I summon Tech Genus Shield Lion(lv3) which allows me to Special Summon a monster from my deck in defense mode, as long as it is a lower level, and has less ATK and DEF. I choose my Striker. You wanna guess what comes? Synchro!"
The shield lion split off into 3 small stars which flew into 2 large rings made from TG striker.
"You really think I'd only have 1 wonder magician?! Synchro Summon now! Effect activates also, destroying another of your face downs. Now, obviously my monsters are weaker than yours, so I shall activate TG1-M1, which switches control of our monsters, so you take Wonder Magician, and I shall take your Deep Sea Claw!"
Astro's TG monster disappeared, only to be replaced by an xyz monster.
"Deep Sea Claw! Destroy Wonder Magician!"

"Now, I draw a card, since wonder magician was destroyed. It appears to be the Speed Spell version of Pot of Duality, so I choose and reveal 3 cards-"
Astro revealed 3 cards; TG Rush Rhino, TG5+X1 and TG Cyber Magician. He chose the spell card and returned the monsters to the deck, which he then shuffled.
"Now I activate TG5+X1, which revives my level 5 Synchro Tuner, by removing two tuners and two non tuners. So my magician returns. And..."
Astro's eyes twinkled and glowed bright green, the sun became brighter, the temperature rose, the acceleration speed rose, Astro glided over the water at extremely high speeds, becoming a blur and flying through massive green rings until he disappeared completely.

Elaine may have remained silent, letting Lance speak to the pirates. Clearly he was a classic knight - brave, just, strong - but entirely lacking in subtlety or cunning. She knew she really should have cut in before he'd dug his hole even deeper, but things had seemed to happen in a flash, before she could even do anything, so in that time she'd been planning instead. She'd managed to work out the magic that allowed the contract to be enforced and come up with a countermeasure. She'd managed to work out how the collar was limiting her magic.

She suddenly gave a small chuckle. "It's funny," she finally spoke, "hearing a pirate talk about what's legal. A pirate is, by definition, a criminal, and piracy is a crime, so I think you'll find any real court would be against you from the moment your pet first appeared."

Psaro had walked up towards the Palace of Orion. He was at the main gate and he saw two guards ensuring no-one made it past. 'I have an audience with the King of Pax, King Orion.' He said to a guard. [i]'Hmm...you seem strange, but no-one gets in without proof, especially of such a high request.'[/i] 'This letter is from the King Roland. I cannot show you the entire letter, as it is for Orion's eyes alone, but I can show you his insignia.' Psaro took out the letter and showed Roland's signiture to them. [i]'Very well you may enter, however you will be escorted to the throne room.'[/i] Psaro had made it inside Pax's Capital City's Palace. Indeed very hard to access, but his mission was far too important to be ignored. One of the guards said [i]'Wait here, we shall get somebody to escort you.'[/i] Psaro looked at the other guard, who then began questioning him. [i]'...well what exactley are you?'[/i] He asked. 'Well, I am a being from Hōyō, so I am not a human.' [i]'I can tell by the pointy ears and red eyes. But you ain't no elf, so why would Roland send you instead of one of his high elf scholars?'[/i] He asked. 'Simple. I have left Hōyō for good. He decided to take this opportunity and squeeze it, making me his errand boy.'[i] 'Is that so? Why did you leave? I heard the other side of Hōyō is beautiful?'[/i] 'It was for me once, untill my...it's none of your concern.' [i]'Oh, sorry if I touched a bad nerve, mate. D'you want to step inside? It's getting a tad nippy out here.'[/i] Psaro was very surprised at this remark. He had always seen humans as evil. Yet this guard, who has every right to be arogant, offers him simpathy? Psaro responded 'Thank you.' as the guard opened the door, letting him inside.

Lance heard the pirate say about his oath and him changing it and this enraged him. He glared at the pirate and then said,[color="#008000"]"I tried to be reasonable with you...but now..."[/color] Lance stopped and then yelled,[color="#008000"]"BUT I WILL NOT HAVE YOU DISHONOR ME LIKE THAT!! WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS, I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, I'LL FIND YOU AND KILL YOU BY MY OWN SWORD!!!"[/color] This was a side that Lance hated to let out, but this man had tried his patience and it finally ran out. And with his patience running out, he couldn't help but lash out like that. [color="#008000"]"A Zaxtran Knight's rage is not something ye should take lightly. Now release her, or you will die where you stand!!!"[/color]

Seiyu got a cold look on his face when he heard the knight talking, [color=blue][b]Seiyu hime-sama is trying to break the contract, and she's being mean to me.[/b][/color] [color=orange][b]Thanks Ein, to your majesty please don't try to escape I know this is inconvenient for you but this should only take like two days of your life and you guys did make a deal, and no matter the circumstance I think any court would agree with you over me, your a princess, and to Mr. Knight I can't dishonor you no one can the only person who can do harm to your honor is yourself and you have, that is why your so angry and with that I say goodbye.[/b][/color] After having the ship loaded and the princess brought on board they began to depart then she was brought into the captains quarters while the crew did inventory.

Lance grunted and tried to move, but it wasn't happening. [color="#008000"]"GET BACK HERE!!!"[/color] he yelled as he started seeing the pirate take Elaine, the ship now sailing off. With the ship leaving, the crew was now able to get back into moving...and Lance had a bone to pick with this man. [color="#008000"]"CAPTAIN! Hoist anchor and start after that ship!"[/color] he said as he went below the ships deck. Lance soon returned with his Duel Runner and then placed his Duel Disk on it.

[i][color="#4B0082"]"Lance, what do you plan on doing?"[/color][/i] Gaia Drake asked, appearing beside him.

Lance chuckled and said,[color="#008000"]"Something crazy..."[/color] He revved up his runner's engine and then drove it off the ship. He pressed a small button and from the sides, appeared wings. [color="#008000"]"Good thing I designed the runner to be like your steed, Gaia."[/color] Lance said, as the runner now began to fly, heading towards the Star Gazer. [color="#008000"][i]Of course...I won't be able to stay in the air for long...[/i][/color] he thought, trying to catch up to the ship.

"Did I say you didn't win, Pirate?" Elaine replied. "The only reason the duel was accepted was the presence of your pet, which was a credible threat to the safety of this ship. That would qualify as coercion. Your acts were already illegal; they do not become legal because you were able to overcome this vessel's defences.

"Still, you have won, so I will come with you." She turned to Lancelot. "I'm sorry your chance to quest outside Zaxtran ended up like this, Sir Lance," she told him. "Don't follow. Take the ship and the expeditionary force to Pax, and do as you see fit to protect our country. You may at least be able to keep your own career." With that she turned away, and followed the pirate captain to his own ship.

Seiyu cooled down after hearing the princess talking [color=orange][b]Thank you, things were getting a little weird and I was beginning to lose my cool, now I'm going to try and make this as pleasant and quick for you as possible, so hopefully nothing else crazy will happen,...what is that.[/b][/color] Seiyu had just noticed that a duel runner was flying through the sky at them an someone was screaming on it. [color=orange][b]Wow that is just wow um that guy really doesn't know how to prioritize.[/b][/color]

Lance was closing in on the Star Gazer, when he heard something pop. [color="#008000"]"Gaia....please tell me that it wasn't my Duel Runner that just made that noise..."[/color] he asked Gaia Drake who just appeared in front of him.

Lance gulped and then felt his runner begin to fall, and fall towards the Star Gazer. The pirates quickly scurried across away from the deck and watched as Lance crash landed on the Star Gazer's deck. Lance groaned and slowly got up, looking at the pirates and the captain. [color="#008000"]"Ugh...I-I told you...I'm not letting you take her, regardless on what your contract stated."[/color] Lance said as he pulled his sword out from it's sheath, still a little shaken up from the crash onto the ship's deck.

Elaine looked at the knight. Before she may have been frustrated by the fact he seemed to be ruled by his emotions, but now he was seriously putting what she'd managed to save of her plans in jeopardy. "Sir Lancelot," she said in a harsh voice, "I appreciate the sentiments, but not the recklessness you are displaying. The security of our nation is more important than the liberty of a relative of the head of state. I have told you before; go back to the ship, take it to Pax and lead the Expeditionary Force in my absence. Otherwise, when I return I will have to report you for insubordination."

She then softened her voice, trying a second angle. "Please, Sir Lance. This is the best option left, for both of us." She then looked to the pirate captain. "Since you've taken items from my ship, I'm sure you can afford to leave a boat for him and his runner to return in."

Lance looked at Elaine and then looked away. He couldn't believe that she was pretty much saying that this was one of the most reckless things he has ever done. [color="#008000"]"Elaine...I understand what your saying...but, I given an order by your father."[/color] Lance said looking back at Elaine. He never told Elaine this, but he had to tell her this right now. [color="#008000"]"Since I was knighted by your father...he told me that I was to carry out this order. He told me to protect you no matter what. That's why I can't leave, if I do...I'll be disobeying your father, and my king."[/color] Lance then sheathed his sword and got on his Duel Runner again. [color="#008000"]"But I understand....Elaine."[/color]

[i]I should have known there was another reason for this,[/i] Elaine thought to herself, [i]after all, I doubt even he could be this loyal simply from being a knight. And it had to be father - oh great, he told these people I'm the king's daughter.[/i] She was silent for a moment, working out the words. "Then protect me, Sir Lance," she finally spoke, "protect me from those who will try and use this against me. Make my plans work, make them see this was ill fortune and not incompetence, and I will have somewhere to return to. Protect me from men who speak against me whilst I cannot defend myself. I do not need a bodyguard, Sir Lance. I need a champion.

"My father may be a king, but he is also a man, who wishes to protect his child. But the sentiments of parents cannot supersede logical judgement." She pulled a card from her robes, and held it out to the knight. "Hand him this, and he will understand."

Seiyu rubbed his temples, this had become a ridiculous situation, he had to think of something because a guy coming onto his ship issuing death threats couldn't just walk away, it would lower his reputation and that would just cause trouble down the road. [color=orange][b]Okay he can use one of our boats to return to your ship under the pretense that everything he's done since flying over here was all part of some big joke, otherwise I'll have to take offense to it and we'd have problems,[/b][/color] he began walking to his cabin and opened to door, [color=orange][b]Alright Elaine-hime this is where you'll be staying, it is the nicest place on the ship and hopefully you will be comfortable.[/b][/color]

Lance took the card that Elaine had handed him and then looked at it. To his surprise, it was one of her favorite cards: Tapestry Mage. He looked up at Elaine and then smirked a little. After hearing the whole speech on her telling him to protect her, this brought him a calmness. [color="#008000"]"Then a champion...you shall have."[/color] Lance said as he ran towards the pirate captain and Elaine. He noticed a few pirates trying to attack, but unfortunately, he had unsheathed his sword and swung it around him, making them back away. [color="#008000"]"A bodyguard will not be the one to save you, Elaine. A long while ago, Psaro had left the letter without seeing Orion. He had immediately headed towards the docks on his Skeletal Horse until bandits tied to attack him. [i]'Oi! You'd better hand over all yer cash, or we'll duel you for it!'[/i] The readied their disks. 'Hpmh.' Suddenly all that could be heard was swooshes, slashes and screaming. Psaro then said 'Nice try.' as he rode off, leaving behind a mess that was bandits untill he had butchered them. 'Now, I shall have to get a boat to return to my homelands.' He thought to himself, as he had arrived at the port. 'Return, Selefatos.' He ordered his steed as it turned into a piece on his necklace. As he walked into the town a shady hermit came up to him, saying 'Are you the one they call Psaro the Manslayer? I was told you'd ave pointy ears and your an expert assasin.' Psaro paid intest into what he was saying. 'I am, now speak.' 'Well, I have a little task I want you to do. You see there I'm in trouble with some loan shrks and...' 'You want me to kill them?' 'Not exactley, they agreed to let me live on one condition, if I'd eliminate a certain monarch.' Psaro looked at him strangely, how could he kill a ruler? He was jus an old man. 'Who?!?' He yelled as he lifted him up by the collar. 'The Crown Princess of Zaxtran Kingdom, I believe her name is Elaine.' Psaro released the man. 'Is she human?' The man answered confused. 'Yes...why?' 'None of your business.' Psaro said as he walked off. 'I expect my pay in human blood or in cash.' He continued in the streets and he went to the foreman of the Port asking if any ships were leaving for The Zaxtran Kingdom. [i]'Sorry mate, but it appears there is something going on out at sea, so no ships are going out. However,' he said in a shifty manner 'if yer desperate, there is supposed to be a ship leaving now.' [/i]He whispered Psaro the directions which he took. The foreman told the truth, as a ship was leaving as Psaro boarded it.

"Fine, I can go without attacking for one turn!" Ryu shouted as he saw the Negate Attack Trap Card. After placing a face-down, Ryu ended his turn and it was now Astro's turn. Seeing the synchro summoning of another T.G. Wonder Magician, Ryu became pretty irritated. "Arrg, another one of those annoying magicians!" Ryu shouted as he watched Wonder Magician's beam heading towards him. "Hah! Not so fast, I activate my face-down card! It's a trap called Black Horn of Heaven! See, I knew you were gonna synchro summon a monster and lucky for me, I drew this card!" Ryu stated. "Now, with Black Horn of Heaven, I can negate the synchro summoning of Wonder Magician and destroy it!" Ryu explained.

"Lucky for you, you still get to draw card." Ryu said. "So, you got any other surprises for me this round?" Ryu asked as he awaited for Astro to continue his turn.
