[spoiler=Future Paradise]

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

- When your opponent Special Summons or Normal Summons a monster, increase your Life Points by half the monster's original ATK.

[spoiler=Tristan T. Taylor]

Lore: You can discard this card from your hand: Negate the Summon of a Level 5 or higher monster and destroy the Summoned monster. If any monsters were sent to the Graveyard to Summon the destroyed monster: Target 1 of those monsters; Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position. If this card is destroyed by battle: Draw 1 card and reveal it; If the revealed card is a DARK monster: You can discard it to draw 1 more card.

[spoiler=Mr. Striker]

128884.jpg

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by banishing 2 Trap Cards from your Graveyard. When your opponent activates a Trap Card: Discard 1 Spell or Monster Card; The effect of that Trap Card that your opponent activated becomes "Your opponent adds 1 Trap Card from their Graveyard to their hand." When this card leaves the field: Your opponent can select 3 Trap Cards from their Deck. You can then choose 1 random Trap Card and add it to their hand. Return the remaining cards to your opponent's Deck.

[spoiler=Maha Guns]

Before the duel: You can reveal this card in your Deck; send it to the Graveyard. While this card is in the Graveyard, when you Synchro Summon a monster: Add this card from your Graveyard to your Extra Deck; treat this card's name, Level, effect(s) and Attribute as 1 face-up Synchro Monster you control. Increase the ATK and DEF of this card equal to its Level x 300.

[spoiler=Zextra]

Lore:

When you activate a Trap Card; place 1 Void Counter on this card. You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; banish a number of cards on the field up to the number of Void Counters on this card.

[spoiler=AngryBird]

317901.jpg

Lore:

When a monster except "Taiku Master" is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can send this card you control to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 monster in either player's Graveyard that was destroyed by battle this turn. You can use this effect during either player's turn.

[spoiler=◊Renji◊]

signalbird.png

When this card is summoned; Select 1 card in your Deck or Extra Deck and banish it. Special Summon the banished monster after an amount of turns have passed equal to the banished monster's Level. While this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card; Move the turn count up by 1.

[spoiler=Max Darkness]

2cxb3b4.png

When a monster you control that was Special Summoned from your Graveyard is destroyed: Return it to the field, until the end of the Phase this effect was activated.

Haven't you read the new OCG Rules that Konami sent out today? I'm Sorry but I'm pretty sure that is right....

What about my correction was flawed?

The leaving the field part is entirely redundant when its effect is only as long as it's face-up on the field. It's a continuous effect, at least from your wording, and thus the proper wording would be what I said.

I was going to despoiler it, but fair enough.

I could despoiler it, if people would prefer that. Spoilers just make it look neater imo, but I don't mind quickly removing them.

@Sh@dow King: Correct OCG:

"This card gains 200 ATK for each face-up Thunder-Type monster you control. This card cannot attack unless you return 1 card you control to the hand."

Once again, the card serves little to no purpose. Your OCG was closer, however, to what it should be.

Try to remember when you make cards that it needs to serve a true competitive use. If you don't know exactly what's competitive I advise you either do some research or ask someone for help. Preferably ask someone else, as 1 on 1 tutoring isn't exactly my gift.

Hey, that was one of my first card, I just changed today for this....

Maybe this will be better?

It probably won't get me up in level but I you to see if its alright.

OCG Fix: This card gains 200 ATK for each Thunder-Type monster you control. This card cannot declare an attack unless you return 1 card you control to its owner's hand.

Ranking: High Osiris or Low Ra.

I don't think it matters really.

And the card you entered is pretty damn evil.

I was kinda going for a balanced "Effect Veiler Rai-Oh Mimic LV 3 of Darkness". (Effect Veiler, Thunder King Rai-Oh, Dark Mimic LV 3, Veil of Darkness) And I suppose it kinda worked. I think I'm being stupid when I can't think of an actual use for yours. inb4reallyobviousreason.

@ Sh@dow King: If you can make an archetype that makes its effect, especially the effect where he returns a card to the hand, useful, then that's one way to go about it. If you check on the page before, I posted all the teachers' cards used for a contest to create a competitive staple. Those are also examples of competitive cards, where the card could be used by itself in a real duel. Hopefully that clears up what I meant.

I think it worked quite well.

As for mine, if your opponent "Torrentials" your Synchro Materials (like "Quillbolt", "Glow-Up" or etc), it allows you to reclaim one of them for a second, short-lived use. If used during the Battle Phase when your biggest monster is blown up (if was S.S.ed from the Graveyard), it can return as a temporary wall or as another target to use up an opponent's effect. It can also bring back a monster of yours long enough to use its effect ("6Sams", various Synchros), and since it doesn't technically Summon the monster, it can be used on Nomi monsters.

Ah, makes a lot more sense now. Suddenly seems like a much better card. xD

Yes, i doubt to you at first. But that proves everything,

So, you're Hound of Anubis Tristan? I sometime see you and your cards at R/C Section. Those are awesome for a newcomer,

Yup, that's me. Thanks, but personally I don't see what being a newcomer has to do with card making skills. I understand the general stereotype that newcomers' cards are gonna suck, but... Actually I'm gonna stop myself before I go off on a rant.

Been playing ever since the first structure decks were released over here. Of course, only became more competitive very recently, it was only just over a year ago where I'd be running a 50 card deck because I didn't wanna neg my favourite cards. Fortunately, I'm a quick learner, and being a grammar snob helped me become better at OCG pretty fast too. Some people are just naturally going to be better, or faster at adapting to card making than others. I think I've seen quite a few newbies make cards better than mine.

It's the newest version of the translated version's OCG, which is a complete overhaul of the existing system.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by... becomes "Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by...

and

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by... becomes "Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by .... Cannot be Special Summoned by other ways."

Oh, I understood. thanks Max. :)

Any student want a 1 on 1?

Sure, why not? ;)
