The card seems pretty balanced, maybe a little OP'd. Since all face-up EARTH monsters gain 500 ATK, and you can get a free Field Spell, you could increase a field full of monster's ATK by possibly 800-1000. And it says you can add a Field Spell Card to your hand once per turn. I think it would be better if you could just add 1 Field Spell Card to your hand when it's summoned, since people probably wouldn't have more than a couple Field Spells in their Deck.

When making a card try to think of the following:

- Does the card serve a specific purpose or a versatile purpose. It should be able to serve one or the other.

- Does the card effect match what the card itself portrays - In your case you had what appears to be a maiden in bandages, and you made it mother nature, which seems horribly off.

Everything else is covered in general, but I'd advise you to remember these two points.

Hello, I am new to these forums, found this link, and want to join the Acadamy! Please instruct me as to what I am supposed to do to enter!

Thank you very much,

Steven Shakespere

Post an example of a card you've made, and we'll judge it to decide which dorm to put you in. (Osiris, Ra or Obelisk)

Well, you click the card itself in the card maker. An image code should appear. Copy and Paste the image code in the place you wish to post it.

For OCG: Basic, basic, basic. I don't see many OCG errors except "each" should be "all". I think low Ra.

Ah, thank you. And, if you don't mind my asking a very, very n00b question... what is OCG?

OCG is "Official Card Grammar".

I agree with Striker on his points, except for the placing. It's obvious you understand basic OCG, but the problem with the cards is that they're not "Realistic" in the sense they are Pop-Culture cards. Now, I'm not entirely sure on whether that was what was originally meant for entries, but to me a realistic card is one that has a relative chance of being produced. An "Azumangah" theme would never truly be produced, by any means whatsoever. However, before I go too into this, I would rather it be cleared up whether we're allowing pop-culture cards, or only "realistic" cards.

From what I can see, I'd personally say a high Slifer, but it appears I may be too strict on this, I am currently unsure.

EDIT: Also, remember to use full-stops in your OCG.

Thank you. And I was unsure as to what sort of card was meant... There was no "must be realistic or actually viable" disclaimer, so I was unsure as to what to do... If this is the case, I can try again...
