Question

Guest se15fy

Like I said, i have a few questions. 1. I read the "How to make a Booster" tutorial and...what the heck is GIMP? 2. ok, second question. how do u rep pepl twice? 3. i might have already asked this, but how do u put a
:P

inside a spoiler. :P. 4. last question. what is an Exceed? (sorry, i'm not that up-to-date with this sort of thing. Is it from the TV? if it is, well i wont know because i think that the lates Yu-Gi-Oh! series is crap.) :(

another question. this is a few days later....i tried to make Buffy cards and post them, but...I made three diffrent ones, but they all show up as the same card.

if this will help you help me this is what i did: I opened up the cards, clicked on them and highlighted the thing under them. then instead of right-click copy, i did ctrl x to cut the thing. i made sure that they were diffrent, they had diffrent image numbers but they all show up as the same card! HELP MEEEE!

I'll take question 4 guys, just give me a bit and I'll post a clearly explained answer.

Exceeds (or Xyz, as the "official" term is, and is pronounce Ickzeez, or something like that) are the new subtybe of yugioh monsters. They work in ways similar to Synchros as they go into the extra deck and require 2 or more monsters to be out on the field at once to summon. They're different from Synchros in the fact that they have a "Rank" and not a "Level", also meaning they can bypass things like Gravity Bind. So far all Xyz have required 2 or 3 monsters with a level equal to their rank to be on the field at the same time.

The kicker about Xyz that the monsters used to summon them are not sent to the Graveyard, but are instead "Overlayed" on the monsters, or put under them in a fasion similar to energy cards in the Pokemon TCG. Overlaid monsters are not considered to be on the field and are not treated as effect monsters, meaning you can revive Plaguespreader with its effect, use it for an Xyz Summon, and it will go to the Graveyard because its effect doesn't exist.

Most Xyz monsters have effects based around "detaching", or sending to the Graveyard, the Xyz material monsters used for their summon, or by having an effect while they have Xyz material monsters, and an effect to detatch those monsters and weaken their effect, making them only last so long. This also makes it so that they can have some powerful effects without being too strong, like an Xyz monster whose effect is a Speed Spell 2 Solemn Judgement that costs 2 Xyz material monsters to use.

Rulings for these are still confusing, but we do know that the materials are not treated as being on the field, so cards like Sangan, who needs to bee sent from the field to the Graveyard do not activate their effects, where cards like Dandylion, who just needs to be sent to the Graveyard, still get their effects.

Any other questions?

Assuming you mean which deck, he did state the Extra Deck.

As for him "being mean"; He was merely enforcing a rule, and was polite about doing so. Bashing him because of that is not justified.

New I forgot something. Xyz monsters are in the Extra Deck, just like Synchros and Fusions.

And about the new guy, I just don't like people hijacking topics, so I just try to end it before it becomes habit. But I guess it's fine, since he got a 24 hour ban from posting custom cards in the deck forum.

EDIT: Oh, so I did state the extra deck.

Release date for the "Dawn of the Xyz" starter deck, which includes the Xyz monster No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope, Gachi Gachi Gantetsu and Grenosaurus, is currently July 12. I believe the OCG has already gotten it, but I'm not sure.

And no, we can't take a joke.

1.) GIMP is an image manipulation program used for editing photos, drawing, and creating graphics. You can download it free at Gimp.org

2.) You'll have to find another post by that person an rep them again.

3.)

Stuff inside the middle spoiler.

Basically, you double the tags.

4.) All I know about Exceed monsters is that they're all known as XYZ monsters. I'm not too up-to-date either >.<

Miror B., how would you get a card from the card maker to your desktop, I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me because I'm new to YCM.

I apologize, but I'm going to have to ask you to make your own thread and ask this question. It is very bad practice to hijack other people's threads with your own topics. Once you make a new topic, I will be glad to help.
