SF-A2 Miki vs. Hiyama Kiyoteru [MIKI WINS! LOCK!]

Jolta

As a feedback since jolta vote on my 1on1. So, here's i give a vote.

Card a >> Even though it need a Xyz for Fusion Material Monster. This is considered to OPed, why? it can destroy. Plus banish.
All the drawback isn't sufficient for this kind of effects. It has some error, like the last word should be it is halved. Yes, im detailed in making a card. And when it does Attaching a Level 5 Xyz Material Monster, you forgot to mentioned from where those Xyz M Monsters?

Card B >> It is ridiculous unplayable. Why? I vote based on Real game. Vocaloids doesnt exist, and that Exceeding Bond too? So how can i judge with this condition? Though the effect seems balance to me. But you forgot that condition.

So, less error GMV. Card A.

Card A: "Once per turn, during either player's Battle Phase, you can discard 1 card to Banish 1 monster on the field. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Banished monster's original ATK. All Battle Damage this card inflicts becomes Piercing Battle Damage, and is halved."

Card B: "Once per turn, you can banish 1 Xyz monster and 1 Synchro monster from your Graveyard to double this monster's ATK and inflict Piercing Battle Damage on 1 face-up Defense Position monster on your opponent's side of the field."

Both effects are similar. But Card B has the advantage because I can Inflict piercing damage with both cards, but with Card B your Attack points aren't halved. Half attack points can sometimes be a fatal error to one card. B has the advantage because It's Attack stays the same. Success is not guaranteed with both cards but since Card B has a slight advantage, thats the card I'm going with.

The ATK is halved to provide a drawback, which is necessary to prevent a card from becoming overpowered. Think about it, you inflict piercing battle damage when you have already removed a monster from play and had damage inflicted to your opponent. I think that would've created a little more balance.

Well...

That means card 2 gets 3 votes.

That was tough.

I won.
